00:00Dear viewers, welcome to truth hen trends. Deepak, today when I was stuck in traffic,
00:13I saw a man dragging a lamb to a butcher shop. The poor animal was staring at hanging flesh
00:20of other goats and literally crying. It was heartbreaking. I told my dad and he said,
00:26If I really feel the pain of animals, I should turn vegan. Avoid meat, milk, even honey and leather.
00:34Honestly, I'm thinking about it. Don't you feel people should support veganism?
00:39Sonia, I really admire your compassion. If everyone cared for animals like you,
00:45the world would be kinder. But when we see it scientifically and globally, it's not that simple.
00:51But Deepak, many vegans live happily. They avoid harming animals. They save cows from dairy cruelty,
00:58bees from honey exploitation, even reject leather shoes. Isn't that the most ethical way?
01:04Yes, ethically it's beautiful. But practically millions of people in poor countries rely on milk,
01:11eggs or fish for cheap nutrition. If suddenly everyone stops, hunger and malnutrition may rise.
01:17But look at gorillas, elephants, rhinos. They're plant eaters yet so strong. If they can get power
01:24from plants, why not humans? Good point. But their bodies are different. Gorillas have a huge gut
01:31and microbes that break down cellulose to make protein. Humans can't digest grass that way.
01:38For us, balanced plant protein needs careful planning. Otherwise, deficiencies like B12 and Omega 3 happen.
01:45So, are you saying veganism makes people weak? Not exactly. With knowledge, supplements and fortified
01:52foods, vegans can be healthy. But without them, risks are real. Low B12, low iron, even weak bones.
02:00That's why doctors say vegan diet must be very carefully planned. Okay. But what about lab-grown meat?
02:08Isn't that the future, meat without killing animals? Exactly. Lab-grown meat and plant-based
02:15alternatives are growing fast. Imagine, chicken biryani without a single chicken harmed.
02:21Already some restaurants serve vegan chicken nuggets and lab burgers. This could truly reduce
02:28animal suffering while keeping nutrition intact. So Deepak, what do we conclude? Should people become
02:33vegan or not? Sonia, veganism is noble and should be respected. But it may not be practical for
02:39everyone. The best path? Eat less meat, support alternatives and push for lab-grown meat.
02:47Even small reductions save millions of animals. That sounds fair. Respect those who are vegan,
02:54reduce harm where possible but stay scientific about health. Exactly. Viewers, what do you think?
