00:00Remember something early in December, we have the awards will be on CBS on television.
00:05So I just want to thank you. Do you have any questions or anything?
00:08President Trump, are you going to fire Lisa Cook, the Fed governor, over her mortgage for her?
00:12I'll fire her if she doesn't resign, yeah. What she did was a bet. So I'll fire her if she doesn't resign.
00:19Mr. President, have you been briefed on the FBI raid of John Paul?
00:23No, I don't know about it. I saw it on television this morning. I'm not a fan of John Paul.
00:28He's a real sort of a lowlife.
00:34When I hired him, he served a good purpose because, as you know, he was one of the people that forced push to do the ridiculous bombings in the Middle East.
00:43He wants to always kill people and he's very bad at what he does.
00:48But he worked out great for me because every time he doesn't talk, he's like a very quiet person, except on television.
00:55If you can say something bad about Trump, I'll always do that.
00:57But he really doesn't talk. He's quiet.
01:00And I'd walk into a room with him with a foreign country and the foreign country would give me everything because they said, oh, no, they're going to get blown up because John Bolton is there.
01:08He's not a smart guy, but he could be a very unpatriotic guy.
01:14I mean, we're going to find out. I know nothing about it.
01:16I just saw it this morning. They did a raid.
01:18Do you expect the DOJ to brief you on this?
01:21Yeah, they'll brief me probably today sometime.
01:24And the foreign minister, what about it?
01:25I don't want to. I tell them and I tell the group.
01:27I don't want to know, but just you have to do what you have to do.
01:29I don't want to know about it. It's not necessary.
01:31I could know about it. I could be the one starting it.
01:34I'm actually the chief law enforcement officer.
01:37But I feel that it's better this way.
01:40Foreign minister, a lot brought that no need in this plan right now between Putin and Zelensky.
01:44He asked about meeting. What are the next steps?
01:47Well, we'll see.
01:47We're going to see if Putin and Zelensky will be working together.
01:52You know, that's like oil and vinegar, a little bit.
01:55They don't get along too well for obvious reasons, but we'll see.
01:59And then we'll see whether or not I would have to be there.
02:02I'd rather not. I'd rather have them have a meeting and see how they can do.
02:05But in the meantime, they continue to fight and they continue to kill people,
02:08which is very stupid because they're losing 7,000 people now.
02:12I used to tell you five. Now they're losing 7,000 people a day.
02:157,000 people a week. They're losing. Think of that.
02:18They're losing 7,000 people on average a week, mostly soldiers.
02:25So we want to see if we can stop it.
02:27I've stopped seven wars. I'd like to make this.
02:31This one I thought would have been in the middle of the pack in terms of difficulty.
02:35And it's turning out to be the most difficult.
02:37With the launching of the White House TikTok account,
02:39are you no longer concerned about privacy concerns or national security problems?
02:43I'm really not. I think it's highly overrated.
02:45So TikTok, as you know, I use TikTok in the campaign.
02:52Some young guy named TikTok Jack, and I won the young people by 36 points.
02:59No Republican ever wins the young people, and I won it by a lot.
03:03And I'm a fan of TikTok.
03:06My kids like TikTok.
03:09Young people love TikTok.
03:11We can keep it going good.
03:13And we're going to watch the security concerns.
03:15And we have buyers, American buyers.
03:17We have American buyers.
03:19And I haven't spoken to President Xi about it at the right time when we're set.
03:23I'll do it.
03:24In the meantime, until the complexity of things work out,
03:28we just extend a little bit longer.
03:30But we have buyers, we have very substantial American buyers that want to buy it.
03:34President Trump, would you like Congress to give you more control over D.C. when they return from recess?
03:41Look, D.C. is a miracle what's happened.
03:45I mean, they can come up with fake numbers like the mayor is doing.
03:47Oh, no, it was going down for 20 years.
03:49You didn't live here.
03:50Have you been mugged?
03:51D.C. was a hellhole.
03:55And now it's safe.
03:56And in fact, I put out this morning, I said, I hate to say this because it doesn't sound very good,
04:02but there have been no murders in D.C. in the last week.
04:04That's the first time in anybody's memory that you haven't had a murder in a week.
04:09And I think the mayor has to get on the ball because we have a situa-
04:15and she's a nice woman.
04:16But I'll tell you what, she's got to get on the ball.
04:18We have- I don't want to see phony numbers.
04:21D.C. hit an all-time high last year of absolute total crime, and it continued pretty bad.
04:30And then we put some strength- some strength into it, got the numbers down a little bit,
04:34but we brought in the D.C. National Guard, and we coupled them with the police,
04:40and it has been amazing.
04:41I have friends that live here.
04:43People that work in the White House, but I have friends that live here.
04:45They're all going out to dinner now.
04:47They haven't gone out in years.
04:48One man, I told this story yesterday when we were with the police and with the National Guard,
04:55we had a great little celebration.
04:57Brought them hamburgers, brought them pizza, but we were with them.
05:00And I told this story about one friend who hasn't been out in four years to a restaurant,
05:04and now he's been out four nights in a row.
05:06He called me this morning, by the way.
05:07He said, it's so safe.
05:09He feels like totally safe.
05:10He can walk.
05:11He's got a 10-block walk.
05:12He walks it.
05:13He wouldn't have walked those 10 blocks.
05:14He said it would be a chain of hell, he called it.
05:17He said it was just horrible.
05:19He had no chance of making it to the 10th block.
05:23And the mayor has to admit that.
05:24She can't say it was just like it hasn't been clean.
05:28Now it's going to be clean.
05:29I'm giving out a contract very soon.
05:31Susie's with me.
05:32We're going to be raising about $2 billion from Congress, and Congress is happy to do it.
05:39And we're going to wisely spend the money we're doing with Clark Construction.
05:42We're going to head out right from the Capitol and the White House, and if you look at a circle,
05:47and go about three miles out, it's going to be beautiful.
05:50All those light poles, see the poles?
05:53They're rusting, and they've got different lenses on top, if you look.
05:57I mean, just looking at it.
05:59So many different problems.
06:00And we're going to have this place beautified within a period of 12 months.
06:06The streets are going to be re-topsed, not ripped up and rebuilt,
06:09and they're no good after they rebuild them because they start settling.
06:13We're going to take off the asphalt and put beautiful, well-done asphalt.
06:18You know, if you have a good asphalt worker, it's the greatest thing you can have,
06:21but there aren't too many of them.
06:22But we know, I know all the good contractors.
06:23So this place will be beautified within a period of months.
06:27So it'll be safe and beautified.
06:28So, and then the big question is, how long do we stay?
06:33Because if we stay, we want to make sure it doesn't come back.
06:36So we have to take care of these criminals and get them out of here.
06:39We have, we've collected hundreds of career criminals.
06:43These are career criminals.
06:43You're not going to teach them to be nice.
06:45These are probably born that way.
06:48I don't know.
06:49But they're career criminals.
06:51They're very, very dangerous people.
06:53They would love to, they would love to be with you for a little while and slap you around.
06:58But I put my money on this guy.
06:59He'd take them.
07:01Right?
07:01He'd take them down so quickly.
07:03He's saying, I don't want any part of it.
07:06No, people don't want to be that.
07:08And we're taking, we have over a thousand arrests.
07:11We're taking career criminals off the streets.
07:13It's my ambition that when we're complete, we can take everybody out and you have a great,
07:19a great capital.
07:21But people are so happy.
07:24And I don't know where they get the polls.
07:25I see polls that they're 90% in favor of what I'm doing.
07:29And then you turn to CNN, which is fake news and nobody watches it.
07:33Or MSDNC, they change, MSNBC.
07:37They changed their name now because they were so bad.
07:39But they're the worst, owned by Comcast, run by a guy named Brian Roberts, who doesn't
07:44have a clue.
07:45He's a terrible, terrible manager.
07:47But they, they're not, I don't think, selling it.
07:49They're changing the name because they're ashamed of it.
07:52And they're disassociating it from NBC, which is also fake news.
07:55You know, they should be ashamed of that too.
07:58But a lot of fake news.
07:59I think the news is getting better.
08:02They're learning that they have no credibility.
08:05ABC, CBS was just sold to a great person that I know very well.
08:08A great, a great man, actually.
08:10He just bought CBS and I think he's going to do the right thing with it.
08:14NBC is run terribly by Comcast.
08:16I call it Comcast because it's a whole con.
08:19And you're going to see some things happening.
08:22I think you're going to see some just amazing things happening.
08:24But to me, D.C. is very exciting.
08:26And a lot of people say, well, where is he going from there?
08:29Well, I have calls from politicians begging me to go to Chicago,
08:33begging me to go to New York, begging me to go to Los Angeles.
08:36And if we didn't go to Los Angeles with Newsom, they run it so badly,
08:40I don't think we would have been able to have the Olympics.
08:42They would have ripped down that city.
08:44We went there and it stopped day one.
08:46And the chief of police in Los Angeles, when they asked them the question,
08:51he said, thank God they came because we could not have handled what was happening.
08:55We went in, we stopped it, and that was it.
08:58So they needed help.
09:00They don't like to say it.
09:01I wish they'd say, I need help.
09:03I wish the mayor of D.C. would say, you know, we're overridden with crime
09:07and we need help, instead of saying the stats are down.
09:10I mean, they're under investigation now for fake numbers,
09:13where they fudged their numbers.
09:15And they did.
09:15There's no question about it.
09:16They said, oh, we're on a downtrend for 20 years.
09:19No, they're on an uptrend for 20 years.
09:22We are going to make D.C. totally safe.
09:25When people come from Iowa, Indiana, all of the beautiful places,
09:29they're not going to go home in a body bag.
09:32They're not going home in a coffin.
09:34And it's very safe right now.
09:35There's been no murders since I started.
09:38And, you know, it's a terrible thing to say.
09:40Who would think that you have to say that there have been no murders?
09:43It's terrible.
09:43I wrote it this morning.
09:44I said, it's hard to say this, but it's actually good news,
09:48but it's a hell of a thing to say.
09:49There have been no murders in the last week.
09:52And nobody can remember the last time that that's happened.
09:55And there won't be murders because all the thugs are hiding
09:58or they're being sent back to their countries or they're in jail.
10:03And it'll only get better.
10:05But we're also doing the beautification.
10:07And I just wanted to see the store because they have done a fantastic job.
10:11It's memorabilia.
10:13It's beautiful books and beautiful, beautiful everything.
10:17It's really, I think the fake news ought to go in and buy some stuff and make happy.
10:21I'd pay it, but then you say, I'm trying to pay you off, so I don't want to do it.
10:24I'd pay the price.
10:25But if I did that, Margo, they'd say, he's trying to pay us off.
10:29And with the fake news, we can't be brought off.
10:31So anyway, so I want to, I just want to thank you all.
10:34We're going now.
10:34I don't know if you're following.
10:36Are you following?
10:36We'll have a stop at the really beautiful, what will be beautiful.
10:42Right now, I can't use bad language, but it's been so badly run.
10:49And they built these cubes outside, these cubes.
10:52And there's stairways that go down to little rooms that nobody uses.
10:56It's so crazy what they did.
10:57They spent hundreds of millions of dollars.
10:59It's like throwing money out the window.
11:01They built cubes.
11:02All it does is block off the view.
11:04So I'm either going to use those cubes as a platform.
11:07You know, they go down to little stages, but nobody uses them.
11:10And we're taking care of our big, beautiful stages that people really want.
11:15And we have artists from all over the world wanting to come.
11:18I think we're signing the World Cup.
11:20The World Cup's going to have its primary office in the Kennedy Center.
11:26And again, I want to thank our boarders in Kennedy Center.
11:28They have been absolutely incredible.
11:30But you may get a chance to see what we're going to do a little bit.
11:33I'll show you beautiful slabs of marble that, for the sake of cleaning and grouting,
11:39would look like they got put in yesterday by a top marblesmith.
11:43So I want to thank you all.
11:45And I'll see you in 15 minutes, okay?
11:48Thank you very much.
11:49Thank you very much.
