With a challenging prop in a jeep and an equally challenging contemporary dance style, can Thea Astley and Joshua Decena pull off their routine under Coach Angel Datanagan's guidance?

00:08And for this episode, ang napunta sa aking duo ay si Nathaya and Joshua
00:12using contemporary Astor style with a twist of Jeepney for the props.
00:20Jeepney, paano sila sasayaw sa Jeepney?
00:23Paano nga ba? Malalaman niyo sa episode na to.
00:26No, pero for this one, ang characters na pinoportray nila ay college students
00:32na papasok using usual public transportation as their means of, you know, transportation with a Jeep.
00:42Makikita niyo dito kung paano sila sasayaw sa loob ng Jeepney, kung paano sila naghihintay sa waiting shed.
00:49Of course, sa may konting halog dito.
00:50I could say that it would be the softness or the looseness na kinakailangan ng contemporary choreo na ginawa ko for them.
01:02Because normally kasi when we dance, nandun tayo sa sharp, nandun tayo lagi sa hard hitting.
01:09Pero for contemporary, of course, there are stops.
01:12But there are also parts wherein kailangan mas relax, kailangan mas kalmado, mas slowly movements natin rather than the stops.
01:19So, dun kami medyo na challenge because I had to constantly remind them to, you know, have that pulled up posture.
01:28Kailangan nakapoint yung post nila.
01:31Kailangan laging naka-extend yung arms nila.
01:33Buwo yung movements nila.
01:35So, yeah, we had to really work on their execution for it to become authentic.
01:42I could say that their chemistry as a duo is really undeniable.
01:48So, when I threw the choreography sa kanila and they performed it side by side, makikita nyo yun sa performance nila.
01:55It really works because they have that chemistry already.
01:58And I would say that it's their biggest chance as a duo.
02:01So, ano nga bang dapat yung abanga sa performance ni Thea and Joshua sa loob ng jeep?
02:07That is kung paano sila sasayo sa loob ng jeep para ma-incorporate ang prop na yun for this performance.
02:15Kasi usually, di ba, sumasakilang naman tayo sa jeep para upo, magbayad, magpara.
02:20Pero dito sa loob ng jeep, anong gagawin nila?
02:23Malalaman nyo sa episode na to.
02:24So, yung pinaka-challenge na nakaharap nila sa episode na to ay really utilizing the jeep, really dancing inside it.
02:34Because when we rehearsed, when we practiced, mostly we just imagined how it would be inside the jeep.
02:43So, when we actually got to practice na inside the jeep, dun kami na-challenge na ay possible ba itong magawa with a prop na nagamit lang namin the day before the performance.
