Singer Lil Nas X arrested after charging at officers, police say  Grammy-winning American singer Lil Nas X was arrested early morning on Aug. 21, 2025 after charging at law enforcement officers, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said. The reported assault occurred after the 'Old Town Road' rapper was spotted walking in his underwear in Studio City, California, the spokesman said. Lil Nas X was taken to the hospital for treatment for a possible overdose, the spokesman said. Police records showed the rapper was arrested at 6:10 a.m. and was being held in jail in Van Nuys, California.
