00:00Hello, everybody. How are you, everybody?
00:04What a nice group. What a nice group. Thank you. Thank you.
00:11You've got to be very careful. You don't want to slip or fall like somebody else I know.
00:17We don't want that to happen. Where are we going, Margot? Over here?
00:22Hello, everybody. It's great to be with you. You guys are doing a fantastic job,
00:27and gals doing an amazing job, and we appreciate it.
00:30The numbers are down like we wouldn't believe, but we believe it.
00:36Where do I stand here? Right where?
00:41Okay. Hello. It's a healthy, attractive-looking group of people.
00:46It's good. Well, I just want to thank everybody very much for being here.
00:52I wanted to do this. We've had some incredible results.
00:56The results have come out, and it's like a different place.
01:00It's like a different city. It's the capital. It's going to be the best in the world.
01:05We're going to do what you're doing with law enforcement,
01:07and very importantly also, we're going to physically do it.
01:10We're going back to Congress for some money,
01:13and we're going to redo a lot of the pavement, a lot of the medians,
01:17a lot of the graffitis all coming off real fast.
01:21It's going to come down real fast.
01:22We're working with Clark Construction there,
01:25one of the big ones. They're the biggest here by far, actually.
01:29And we're going to be not so much building.
01:31It's cleaning and fixing and redoing
01:34and putting brand-new surfaces down on your roads and streets.
01:37And when people come in from the airport all the way to the Capitol
01:41or the White House or anyplace else, they're going to say,
01:43boy, this place is spotless.
01:45So we're doing that.
01:46Most importantly, though, we're going to have a crowd of people
01:49that are going to be happy.
01:51You know, I've received more phone calls from people
01:54in the last four days than I ever have.
01:57I've been here now four years plus.
02:00And by the way, I think we had about the best seven months,
02:03they're saying, that any president's had.
02:05We've done a lot of work. We've done a lot of good work,
02:08including the biggest tax cuts that you've ever had.
02:10I know you guys don't care about taxes,
02:12so you don't care about saving a little tax,
02:14but you saved a lot of tax, actually.
02:17But we've had a great, great period of time.
02:20But I've never received so many phone calls
02:23thanking me for what we've done in Washington, D.C.,
02:26from people that haven't gone to a restaurant
02:28literally in four years.
02:30And they said, you know what you've done,
02:32it's unprecedented, because what they said,
02:38it was just unsafe. We couldn't do it.
02:40We'd go out, and you'd see the stories,
02:43you'd read the stories,
02:44you'd see all of the things that are happening.
02:46And they said, we just, we couldn't stand it, sir.
02:50And now, I take my wife and my kids to dinner.
02:53One of them said he's gone out four nights in a row,
02:55and he hadn't gone out for four years.
02:59So it's a great tribute to you.
03:01And when I look at you people, I understand why.
03:04Because there's no games, right?
03:06We're not playing games.
03:07We're going to make it safe.
03:09And we're going to then go on to other places.
03:11But we're going to stay here for a while.
03:12We want to make this absolutely perfect.
03:14It's our capital.
03:16And I guess it used to be many years ago, say,
03:20but it's certainly not had a very good run.
03:24And you've got to be strong.
03:25You've got to be tough.
03:26You've got to do your job.
03:27Whatever it takes to do your job,
03:28you've got to do your job.
03:30But the crime numbers are way down.
03:32I'm looking at, you saw some of the stats.
03:33They just read them out to me inside.
03:35The numbers that we haven't seen here ever,
03:39actually ever.
03:41And I think it's probably right now,
03:43it's to me, I feel very safe now.
03:45And I'm hearing people are very safe.
03:47But I know within two weeks, it's going to be, Pam,
03:50it's going to be at a level that's even far superior.
03:53So I just came.
03:55I just wanted to thank you all.
03:56You're doing incredible.
03:57You're incredible people.
03:59You make the country run, frankly.
04:01You make the whole place run.
04:03We're going to have the best capital ever.
04:06We're going to have the,
04:07it's going to look better than it ever did.
04:09Even at the White House, I'm building a ballroom.
04:11They've been after a ballroom for 150 years,
04:14but they never had a real estate guy as a president.
04:16You know, I've done a lot of ballrooms.
04:18And we're going to make this one the best of them all.
04:20But we're doing a real job.
04:23As far as the country's concerned,
04:25we're respected again.
04:27We had a country that was laughed at a year ago.
04:30They would think, they thought,
04:31they couldn't understand what was happening.
04:33And it's about leadership.
04:34But we had a country that was a dead country in many ways.
04:39I went to Saudi Arabia.
04:41I went to Qatar.
04:42I went to UAE.
04:43We came back with $5.1 trillion of investment in this country.
04:48And we're over $17 trillion.
04:49Now, a lot of you don't know what that means.
04:52And nobody knows what it means
04:54because it's never happened before.
04:55In five months,
04:57because really it's a five month,
04:59even though we're here seven,
05:00but we started five months ago in terms of investment.
05:03And we have,
05:04because they see what's happened to our country,
05:06we're going to be over $17 trillion,
05:09trillion with a T,
05:10dollars of investment.
05:11There's never been anything close.
05:13If we did $1 trillion in a year,
05:17and we're talking about over a five month period,
05:19maybe six months if you look at it,
05:21but over $17 trillion.
05:24We're building plants, auto plants, AI plants,
05:27all sorts of plants all over the country.
05:30I'm giving them the right.
05:31Lee Zeldin's done a fantastic job.
05:34We're giving them the right to build electric plants.
05:36They become almost like a public utility
05:38because we have old grids.
05:40We have a lot of stuff that's old.
05:42We wouldn't be able to compete with China AI.
05:44And now we're totally leading the AI race
05:47and the artificial intelligence.
05:49It's a big deal.
05:50And it's the hottest thing there is
05:52for probably in 35, 40 years.
05:55It's a lot of people don't know what it is.
05:56It's just, trust me, it's very hot.
05:58It's big.
05:58But they need massive amounts of electricity.
06:01They need more electricity
06:02than we have right now in the whole country,
06:05servicing everything.
06:06In other words, we have to at least double it up
06:08to be competitive and to be leading.
06:12And we're more than doubling it up.
06:14And what I'm doing is I'm letting
06:16all of these very rich companies,
06:19and they've got nothing but they've got a lot of money,
06:21and they want to invest it in the United States.
06:23And they're building big plants,
06:25but they're building electric plants with it.
06:26I said, you build your building,
06:29and these are buildings that cost 30, 40, 50 billion dollars
06:33when you include everything that's inside,
06:35all the technology.
06:36I said, I'm going to let you build electric plants
06:39to fire your own electricity.
06:41And anything that you have left over,
06:43you sell it back into the grid.
06:45So all of these big factories that are being built
06:48are building their own electric plants
06:50fired by oil and gas.
06:52They're not fired by wind, by the way,
06:53because wind doesn't work, but we won't say that.
06:56It destroys everything.
06:57It looks terrible.
06:59It's a very expensive form of energy.
07:02And we're not doing the wind.
07:03We're going back to fossil fuel.
07:04I hope not too many of you people are going to be upset,
07:07but we have to go back to what works.
07:09We can't be foolish.
07:11But we are building massive electric plants
07:14all over the country.
07:15The companies are building,
07:16and then they sell it back into the grid.
07:18But we're building numbers that nobody's ever seen.
07:21We're auto plants.
07:22We have many auto plants going up,
07:24whereas during the last four years,
07:26as you know, we had like none.
07:28People weren't investing here.
07:30So where they weren't investing and they were leaving.
07:33But I just finished by saying this.
07:35So I was with the king of Saudi Arabia.
07:37I was with all of the NATO leaders a couple of weeks ago.
07:41And they are putting up not 2%, but 5%.
07:46They said 5% of GDP.
07:49That's a lot of money.
07:50They'll have trillions of dollars put up.
07:52They were putting up two, but they weren't paying it.
07:54Now they're putting up five and they're all paying it.
07:56And they all said the same thing.
07:58They said, one year ago, your country was dead.
08:02We never thought it was coming back.
08:04And now you have the hottest country anywhere in the world.
08:08These are the leaders of other countries,
08:09the prime ministers and the presidents,
08:11all, every one of them said essentially the same thing,
08:14said we had a dead country.
08:15And we were, we felt that way.
08:17And we were.
08:18And this place was emblematic of it with the crime,
08:21the horrible crime.
08:22And, you know, I watch these phony reports.
08:24Oh, we were on the way back.
08:26They weren't on the way back.
08:27It was worse than ever just a short while ago.
08:31But now it's going to be, I think now, right now,
08:33it's better than it has been in years.
08:35And in a couple of weeks,
08:37it's going to be even far better than that.
08:38And everybody's safe now.
08:40Everybody feels safe.
08:41And they're all coming in.
08:42And people are now coming in.
08:44They're making reservations to come in.
08:45They want to be in Washington, D.C.
08:48One of the things we're going to be redoing is your parks.
08:50I'm very good at grass
08:51because I have a lot of golf courses all over the place.
08:53I know more about grass than any human being,
08:56I think, anywhere in the world.
08:58And we're going to be re-grassing all your parks,
09:01all brand new sprinkler systems,
09:02the best that you can buy,
09:04just like Augusta.
09:06It'll look like Augusta.
09:08It'll look like, more importantly,
09:09Trump National Golf Club.
09:10That's even better.
09:11But we're going to have all brand new, beautiful grass.
09:15You know, like everything else, grass has a life.
09:17Do you know that?
09:18Grass has a life.
09:19You know, we have a life and grass has a life.
09:22And the grass here died about 40 years ago.
09:25So we're going to be rebuilding all of your parks.
09:28And it's going to happen fast.
09:29It's going to go up like a miracle.
09:31So you do the job on safety
09:32and I'll get this place fixed up physically.
09:35And we're going to be so proud of it.
09:37At the end of six months,
09:38but let's say at the end of a year,
09:40this place will be maxed out in terms of beauty.
09:43You'll have all new surfaces.
09:44You'll have all new medians.
09:46Everything's going to look beautiful.
09:47A lot of your signs are going to be taken down.
09:49They've been up for 40 years.
09:51They look like hell.
09:52They look, they're barely standing up.
09:53They're falling off their holders.
09:57And we're going to have all new everything.
09:59And I want to just thank Doug
10:00for doing such an incredible job.
10:02You've been unbelievable.
10:03You're a popular guy.
10:05No, he's an amazing guy.
10:07He's an amazing guy.
10:08Everybody love her.
10:09We love you.
10:10And his wife is so incredible.
10:12But thank you very much.
10:13I appreciate it.
10:13And Pam, thank you very much.
10:15What a job.
10:17She's, people don't realize,
10:19they're going to see she'll go down
10:20as the greatest attorney general we've had.
10:23I really mean it too.
10:24And where's my Christy, your dear?
10:26Thank you very much.
10:28She's been incredible.
10:30And she can ride a horse like nobody.
10:33She groups those horses around.
10:37But I want to thank you very much.
10:39And Steve Miller, so, so fantastic.
10:42And Todd, Todd Lance, who's been with me so long.
10:46And he's one of the best lawyers you'll ever find.
10:49And we're having a lot of victories.
10:50I had a victory today.
10:51You know, they stole $550 million from me with a fake case.
10:59And it was overturned.
11:00They said this was a fake case.
11:02It's a terrible thing.
11:04But that's a nice victory, you know.
11:06I mean, it's not bad.
11:07You know, we all have, we all have our limits.
11:09But this was a terrible thing they've done.
11:12It was a witch hunt.
11:13And I've had more witch hunts than any human being, I think, in history.
11:16And here we are.
11:17We're the president of the United States.
11:19So it didn't work out too well for them.
11:20But maybe now it's turned a little bit.
11:23These are very dishonest people.
11:24We have to fight.
11:25We have to win.
11:26Because we have to win.
11:27And you people are winners.
11:29And I just think it's really, it's such an honor to be with you.
11:32And we're going to make Washington, D.C. great again.
11:35We're making our country great again.
11:37The country is very close to being great.
11:39When they say it's the hottest country in the world, they mean it.
11:42And this capital is right now, after four days, five days,
11:46it's at a level that you haven't seen in a long time.
11:48And it's all because of you.
11:49So I want to thank you all very much.
11:51It's an honor to be with you.
11:53And we'll always be with you.
11:54We're going to be with you for as long as I'm around.
11:57You're going to be treated as nobody more important.
12:00And thank you all very much for being here.
12:02Thank you very much.
12:04Doug, would you like to say something?
12:07Thank you, everybody.
12:10President Trump, on behalf of everybody that's here in law enforcement,
12:15I think I want to, I absolutely want to extend the gratitude to you
12:19because under your leadership, you're bringing back respect for this profession.
12:22I know that wherever you go, and some of these folks know,
12:25wherever you go in the country, whenever I've been with you,
12:28backstage before you speak, who do you get a picture with?
12:31Local law enforcement, the federal folks that are there.
12:34You have always, in turn, your entire life supported law enforcement.
12:37And that makes a difference.
12:38These people know that.
12:40And the other thing, of course, for everybody here,
12:42President Trump's ended six wars.
12:45He's brought taxes down, regulations down.
12:49He's brought record foreign investment like he was talking about.
12:52He's done all of those things in six months.
12:54But what does he really care about?
12:56You hear him talk about the wars.
12:57He wants to end the killing.
12:59And here in D.C., he wants to end the killing.
13:01He wants to end it in every city in America.
13:03Because if we're the greatest country in the world,
13:05you shouldn't be afraid to be able to go out for dinner.
13:07He cares about the people that live in this city and in every city.
13:10And that's why this is happening right now.
13:12And this is what leadership looks like, that in a matter of a week,
13:15this is a message to every city in the country.
13:17And it's a message to every capital in the world that America,
13:22the greatest country in the world, is going to have the most beautiful capital
13:25and the safest capital in the world because of all of you.
13:28So thank you, everybody that's here tonight.
13:30Thank you, President Trump, for making it all possible.
13:32Thank you very much.
13:34Thank you all.
13:37President, I'm looking at all these faces.
13:39They're out here every single night.
13:42I'm getting to know everyone on a first-name basis.
13:44All of our great Metro PD, General Blanchard with the Guard,
13:48all of our federal agencies are out here, our amazing park police.
13:52They are working hand-in-hand to make D.C. safe.
13:56They're out here working midnights every night because they love our country,
13:59they love our city, and they love you.
14:01They're all telling me that.
14:02Are we going to get the meet?
14:03Look at them getting a thumbs up.
14:04They're all out here going, are we going to meet the president?
14:06I told you.
14:08So, and I think you brought some food for them, didn't you, President?
14:11So we have great hamburgers cooked by the White House,
14:14and we have pizza that I said, don't do it in the White House
14:17because we went to a place that makes the best pizza.
14:20So we'll concede, but we have a lot of it.
14:23So we're going to have some fun.
14:24We'll eat, and I'll eat with you, and we're going to have a little fun.
14:27We're going to celebrate, but then we're going to get back to work,
14:30and we're going to take care of these criminals.
14:31We're going to put them where they have to be.
14:32We're going to say, don't play around with us.
14:36Don't play around with us.
14:37So let's go have something to eat.
14:39You're going to like the hamburgers.
14:40Would you rather have hamburgers from the White House
14:42or pizzas from a good place, huh?
14:44I think you want, oh, they want the hamburgers.
14:47Have a good time, everybody.
14:48Thank you very much.
14:49Christy, thank you very much, darling.
14:50Thank you, everybody.
15:07Judge Jeanine is here.
15:09She's unbelievable.
15:11Oh, we have Leo.
15:13Leo 2.0.
15:15Whoa.
15:15Judge, I didn't see you over there.
15:19It's lucky I spotted her.
15:22It's lucky I spotted her.
15:23I would have been in big trouble.
15:25And Leo, you know, Leo 2.0.
15:26We love Leo.
15:27He's a great prosecutor, that's for sure.
15:30You know, they both started off really as law enforcement
15:33and top lawyers and judges and law enforcement,
15:37and that's how they became famous.
15:38Then they went into show business,
15:39and everyone thought, gee, were they real?
15:42But they were the real deal, and you're both doing great.
15:44Thank you very much.
15:45Pam, do you want to say something?
15:47Jeanine, please?
15:49Yeah, I just want to say thank you to all of you.
15:52Every night when you hit the street,
15:53you make a difference not just for us,
15:56but for everyone in the district.
15:58They are grateful for what you do.
16:00They are thankful.
16:01And I am making sure that we back the blue to the hilt.
16:06Every arrest you make, we're going to the longest way
16:10to make sure that we charge in those cases.
16:13So God bless you and thank you for what you do.
16:16You're making a difference.
16:17And, Mr. President, without you, no one would even have tried.
16:21So thank you.
16:2530 seconds.
16:27We have the greatest president in our lifetime
16:30protecting this country, and you guys have done a great job.
16:33And I have had the privilege to work with the greatest attorney general in Pam Bondi.
16:38This team really appreciate you.
16:41We want to thank you.
16:42You are doing the work that makes this country great, protecting America.
16:47Thank you very much, and God bless you.
16:49Peace.
