00:00So you think the bulk of the problem there lies on the Palestinian side, that they're the reason that a Palestinian state seems unattainable?
00:09Well, for the present moment, I would say, by them going around the Oslo agreement, by the fact that there was a Palestinian state, it was Gaza.
00:19It was a 100 percent Palestinian state.
00:23People see how that turned out.
00:25That did not exactly endear folks looking at it to say, yeah, that ought to work out really, really well.
00:32So there's going to have to be some time.
00:35It's not going to be something that is going to be on the table, but it's not the U.S. decision to make.
00:42The U.S. is going to be supportive of our allies.
00:45We're going to be supportive of peace.
00:47The president wants there to be a peaceful resolution.
00:50And I think he's demonstrating that by his actions, not just in the Middle East, but across the globe right now, specifically in Russia-Ukraine conflict.
00:59So I would hope that some of these European leaders would reassess their actions and decide that maybe they need to take a different approach, stop putting so much pressure on how Israel is defending itself against Hamas, and start putting the pressure on radical military actions that were intended to kill Jewish people.
