00:00I have a friend who's really really hot who always uses a contour stick and I was like

00:05maybe if I use this contour stick I will channel her hotness.

00:11Hi Allure, I'm Leve and this is my 10 minute beauty routine.

00:19Today I'm going for kind of just like my daily natural blushy look.

00:26Okay, I like to pull all my hair back.

00:31I always start with just very simple moisturizer.

00:35This is just CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion.

00:40My dermatologist recommended it to me.

00:43I feel like this one is just the simplest and best for a makeup base.

00:51And you need to remember to put it on your neck too.

00:56And then for lips, I like to, while I'm doing my makeup, I like to load up on this Blistex.

01:05I've been using this since high school to the point where it smells like high school to me.

01:13Like this smells like math class and being scolded for talking too much.

01:19But I remember all the, all the girls in Iceland, they'd all have this on their table beside their pencil case.

01:26And it's very minty, which is nice.

01:29So I'm starting with this Westman Atelier like foundation stick.

01:35I don't even know if I'm doing it right, but I just paint my face with it.

01:39Blend it out.

01:41Do a little X on my forehead.

01:44It's a lot of shit in my bag.

01:47Um, and I just like buff it out with a Kabuki brush.

01:51This particular brush I started using maybe like a year ago.

01:58But the reason I really liked it is because it's really short.

02:01And because I travel and tour so much, I just like can't afford to have too much in my makeup bag.

02:09I used to use my fingers and then I got this brush and now I just paint my face.

02:22And I use a concealer.

02:24It's the Ilia True Skin, True Skin Serum Concealer.

02:29And I just, I was out last night, so I have dark circles under my eyes.

02:36Although that's apparently cool now, so maybe I should keep it.

02:41I just use the same brush.

02:43I use this brush for everything.

02:45And I kind of dot it over my eyelids.

02:48And this is kind of just how I create a good base.

02:54I've learned a lot over the years.

02:56I've always loved really kind of like fresh makeup and loved, you know,

03:02finding ways to bring out like your natural features.

03:06And I think it's a really fun way of expressing yourself.

03:09Oh, brows.

03:12This is a clear brow gel from Refi.

03:17And I never really do anything to my brows other than clear gel, even for stage.

03:24My stage makeup is pretty much exactly the same as my daily makeup.

03:28I do my own makeup for concerts, usually, because I'm too impatient to wait in a chair for too long.

03:35And my own makeup takes like 10 minutes.

03:38I just brush my brows up a little bit.

03:43And I like a little found out brush.

03:48But I always thought I looked really scary with eyebrows that were filled out too much.

03:56I remember in Iceland in high school, all the girls started like filling their eyebrows a lot.

04:03We called them mountains.

04:04So, you know, it was like like really dark filled in eyebrows.

04:09And that never really worked for me.

04:11And plucking my eyebrows really scares me because I'm scared the hair won't come back.

04:16So I just use the gel.

04:20Oh, this one's fun.

04:22I've started using a contour stick for the first time because I have a friend who's really, really hot,

04:31who always uses a contour stick.

04:33And I was like, maybe if I use this contour stick, I will channel her hotness and her confidence.

04:41So, it's this Westman Atelier stick in truffle.

04:49And I don't even know if I'm doing this right or not.

04:52But I just do a little like this.

04:54And it's kind of fun.

04:55I feel like a YouTuber every time I do it.

05:00Like, you know, isn't this what everyone looked like in 2016?

05:04And then same brush.

05:05I just blend it out.

05:08This is a newer step to my routine, but I kind of like it.

05:19I get a lot of tips from makeup artists, but I think the most infectious thing for me is friends.

05:26And then I use also Westman Atelier, this blush stick.

05:34And this one, this shade is called Petal.

05:37And I kind of just put it all over the place.

05:41And I like, I like a little bit of blush blindness.

05:47Because life's too short to not have rosy cheeks.

05:51I've definitely dared to wear a little bit more blush now, but I've always loved blush.

05:57I think I've always loved all things doll.

06:02Like, I love dressing like a doll.

06:05Things that are very, like, girly.

06:07And I think blush is just like the most beautiful way to, I don't know, to shine and to glow.

06:14So for eyes, I use this cloud paint in Storm from Glossier.

06:23And I've literally used this since high school.

06:26But I've been using this on my eyes for years and years and years.

06:33And it's just the perfect kind of dark red wash.

06:39It doesn't really look like eyeshadow, but it just gives your eyes a little bit of definition.

06:46Recently, I've been doing a little bit of eyeliner.

06:49This I learned from my sister, Junia, because she was using this eyeliner a lot.

06:54She knows how to do a really good wing.

06:56I have no clue how to do a wing.

06:57If I ever have a wing, it's because she did it on me.

07:00But I like to just put a little bit of dark brown in my waterline.

07:09Just to open up the eyes a bit.

07:12The eyeliner is Hourglass Waterproof Gel Liner.

07:19And then I crawl my lashes.

07:22This is always a little bit of a dangerous pursuit.

07:25I pinch myself nine out of ten times.

07:33But I think I got some makeup on my contact.

07:40That happens a lot.

07:42I have a lot of astigmatism, so I can't see very well.

07:46So if I'm doing my makeup, I have to do it with contacts in.

07:49And I very often get makeup on my contacts.

07:53Mascara.

07:54Speaking of.

07:55This is my favorite mascara.

07:57It's the Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara.

08:02And it's just the perfect, non-clumpy, elongating, curling mascara.

08:10And it looks really natural.

08:14And I've used it for like three years now.

08:16And I have like three tubes in my bag right now.

08:22I always forget which one's new though.

08:24So I usually end up using like two or three a day.

08:33I think the final touch is just a little bit of lip liner.

08:37Recently I've been using lip liner.

08:41This was also inspired by my sister.

08:43You know what?

08:44A lot of this is inspired by Ilia.

08:45This is a MAC lip liner in strip down.

08:51It's like a brown shade.

08:56And I just kind of line my lips.

09:01I don't really wear makeup every day anymore.

09:07But I used to.

09:08But it was truly because I was just so nervous about my acne.

09:13Which is a very normal thing.

09:15And it's something I didn't struggle with as a teenager.

09:18And then I turned 20 and my skin just went crazy.

09:22It was a whole thing to get rid of.

09:25And took many trial things and many years.

09:28But it's completely normal.

09:31And that being said I'm very happy.

09:34It's gone.

09:35I still have like texture and stuff.

09:37But I think it's so beautiful.

09:39I think that that is the full makeup look.

09:47This is my favorite hair brush.

09:49I got it from my sister for Christmas.

09:51And it's light pink which is really fun.

09:54And I kind of love ending every makeup look by brushing it out.

09:59Brushing my hair out.

10:01This brand is Le Bon Brush.

10:07It's a French hair brush brand.

10:11And they're all so cute.

10:13And they have them in these candy colors.

10:15And now I bring it everywhere with me.

10:18And this is the finished look.
