00:00The owner of this GT-R hasn't given a frick or a heck about it for a while now.

00:04The last time it was detailed was when I did it over two years ago, but to his

00:09credit he brought it to us to give it some TLC before he brings it in to get

00:13completely repainted next month.

00:16We've been really trying to bring the best videos possible to you guys so if

00:31The first step is a thorough pre-rinse in order to blast off all that dust and

00:36mud and then we're gonna follow it up with a pre-soak and then another pre-rinse

00:40to make sure that the paint is perfectly clean before we start soaping it up.

06:17The soap that we use is Honeydew Snow Foam from Chemical Guys.

06:22We loaded it up into our foamer and sprayed a nice thick layer of lather all over the GTR.

06:52When washing the exterior of any car, make sure you're using the two bucket method to rinse

06:59the wash mitt in between panels to remove grit and dirt and use grit guards to trap those particles

07:04at the bottom of the bucket.

09:06Just a disclaimer, make sure that you spray off the iron fallout remover before moving

09:11on to this next step, which is using our nanoskin auto scrub clay mitt, which allows us to go

09:17ahead and remove any of those contaminants that the normal wash process can't.

09:21And also make sure that you wash off the pad in between panels using a brush and a soapy

09:26bucket.

09:27That way you can make sure it's a fresh pad touching the paint on every pass.

09:31I personally like using clay mitts over clay bars because the surface area is significantly

09:35bigger with a clay mitt and it cuts down the time it takes to do the entire vehicle.

09:47Can I see the camera?

10:47Our favorite sealant to use is Jeskar PowerLock which brings a deep shine out of the paint

10:58and at least 3 months of quality protection.

11:00We apply it using the Rupes Bigfoot LHR15 Polisher and a Rupes Yellow Polishing Pad.

11:05And by making long passes with even pressure, we can evenly distribute the sealant over

11:09every painted surface of the GTR.

11:15And if you want to do that, I would love to ask you to use the right color in it or

11:26not to beHola in it or not to be airborne in it.

11:31We will see the Rupes Bigfoot LHR15.

13:37We use Chemical Guys VRP for our tire dressing.

13:43It's non-sling and it's a nice coup de gras to the end of every detail.
