It is inspired by the real experiences of several Civil Guard members involved in the anti-terrorism fight and is rooted in the complex historical, political, and social context of Spain in the 1990s and 2000s.
Written and directed by Agustín Díaz Yanes, and produced by the producers of Society of the Snow, Belén Atienza, Sandra Hermida and J.A. Bayona, She Walks in Darkness premieres October 17 on Netflix. The cast includes Susana Abaitua, Andrés Gertrúdix, Iraia Elias, Raúl Arévalo and Ariadna Gil.
