00:04Photos shared on social media alleged that Israeli military personnel have been arrested

00:11by Dutch police in the Netherlands on charges related to war crimes.

00:35commander of the Armored Corps, reportedly on the same charges.

00:38However, in both cases, the pictures show the arrest of other people and in other countries.

00:44The image of the woman being arrested in fact dates back to August 2016.

00:48A reverse image search found the image was shared by British tabloid The Daily Mail

00:53in an article on partygoers being arrested by police in Newcastle.

00:57Meanwhile, a reverse image search of the second picture shows it dates to September 2022

01:02and illustrates the arrest of an Irish gangster known as Johnny Cash during a raid in Spain.

01:08The Dutch Public Persecution Service confirms here a verify that no Israeli nationals had

01:13been arrested by Dutch police for war crimes.

01:15In February this year, however, two Israeli soldiers who were on holiday in the Netherlands

01:19returned to Israel for fear of persecution.

01:22The Hind Rajab Foundation wanted to bring a lawsuit in the Netherlands against one of

01:26the men who allegedly committed war crimes in Gaza.

01:29The foundation also lodged a complaint over the presence of two Israeli soldiers suspected

01:34of committing war crimes in Gaza at Tomorrowland.

01:36The two were detained and questioned by police after which Belgium's Federal Public Prosecutor's

01:41Office decided to refer the files to the International Criminal Court.

01:45The same photo of the young woman, who was falsely identified as Yuka Liulita, was incorrectly

01:50used in a social media post about the arrest of these two soldiers in Belgium, which garnered

01:56six hundred and fifty thousand views.
