00:00Previously on Project Runway, I'm back!
00:07I'm having a slight flashback because in my other season,
00:12it was also a team challenge, and I'm having a little PTSD.
00:16What's happening? I already need a martini. All right.
00:19In season 19, I left on episode one,
00:22but I'm very confident about what I made for this challenge.
00:26Literally, like, my intern could sew that in 30 minutes.
00:29I'm a Gemini. I take critiques very like,
00:31don't tell me what to do.
00:33That was the one that I'm using.
00:34Okay, well, I can use it too.
00:36BJ is in her own bubble.
00:39She's very standoffish.
00:40Which part of my start?
00:42This is my best-in-law.
00:43Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.
00:45She's what we call in the business.
00:47A .
00:49Congratulations, Ethan.
00:51You're the winner of this challenge.
00:53Shut up!
00:54Casey, Joseph, and Antonio.
00:57You had the three bottom looks.
00:58Am I being punk?
01:00Ooh.
01:01Oh, he's spicy.
01:02I don't think there's any reason to be defensive.
01:04No, I'm not being defensive at all.
01:05Casey, it's very lackluster.
01:08And what you then wrapped around to me looks like an afterthought.
01:11Do we sit home with a bad dress or the bad attitude?
01:14Just very emotional.
01:16I can't believe this is happening again.
01:18You're so mean.
01:19I'm gonna know.
01:20Why am I here?
01:21I want to go home.
01:26A stake for the winner is $200,000, a spread in Elle magazine, and a life-changing mentorship
01:33with the CFDA.
01:34I can't believe it could happen again.
01:36It just feels like a bad joke.
01:37I can't go home.
01:38Like, I didn't get to show who I was as a designer.
01:41Let's prove to them that we'd make it to the end.
01:45My brother and I are supposed to make it to the end together.
02:11I can't believe I'm in the bottom.
02:13I might be going home.
02:15We're ready?
02:26Casey, Antonio, Joseph, we've made our decision.
02:38Joseph, you're safe.
02:42You can leave the runway.
02:45Thank you, Joseph.
02:52Casey, you had the most beautiful fabric, but it was evident you had unresolved design
02:59problems.
03:01I don't know what that would be like.
03:03You're left with her.
03:03I don't know.
03:04I think she had a LOOKI have a look.
03:05Just telling her.
03:06I don't know.
03:07She's underwater.
03:08Can you see it?
03:09I'm from the top of the poop.
03:10Kasey, Antonio, one of you will be in and one of you will be out.
03:19Antonio, you're in.
03:28You can leave the runway.
03:41Casey, I'm so sorry, but that means you're out.
03:50Yes.
03:51Oh my God, you're so sweet.
03:53I'm so grateful to have met you.
03:56Good luck.
04:00Bye, guys.
04:02Kasey.
04:03Babe.
04:04Come here.
04:05I'm so glad I got to meet you guys.
04:07I'm like beyond shocked to be eliminated for this look.
04:10Kasey.
04:11Yes.
04:12I know it's rough going on the first.
04:13It's hard.
04:14But you're so talented.
04:15That's why you're here.
04:16That's why you came back, right?
04:18Think about, hold that strong.
04:19Thank you, Christian.
04:20I'm gonna send you the workroom, clean up your space, say goodbye to everybody, okay?
04:22Okay, thank you.
04:23And good luck.
04:24It feels harsh to leave this stage of the competition again.
04:28I definitely feel like I wish I could have shown more, but I still am really proud of it.
04:32Project Runway is an experience I will never forget, and I'm probably finished with as of now.
04:41All right.
04:47Come back.
04:48Sit around.
04:49We're not done.
04:50Oh, my God.
04:51What?
04:52Christian, I don't know how much we can take today.
04:54Competition is very real now.
04:56You just saw it.
04:57Kasey walked out the door.
04:58Goes quick.
04:59Ethan, congratulations.
05:01Woo!
05:02Thank you so much.
05:04I have something extra for you.
05:08Oh, Jesus.
05:09Oh, what do you got, mama?
05:12Because you guys are gonna continue to work in houses a little longer.
05:17Oh, what?
05:18As the winning designer in the next challenge, you're gonna have an opportunity to swap a designer from a house.
05:25Christian Siriano really came in and was like, let me just drop a rock into this pond.
05:35Think on it.
05:36Like Heidi said, new house, new rules.
05:39Okay.
05:40You'll decide at the next challenge.
05:43The houses aren't over yet.
05:45Get ready for it.
05:47Bring it on.
05:48I think I know what I'm gonna do.
05:50Things are about to get spicy.
05:52Here we go.
05:53Here we go.
05:54Here we go.
05:55Here we go.
05:56Here we go.
05:57Here we go.
05:58Here we go.
05:59Ooh.
06:00Ooh.
06:01Some jump ropes.
06:02That Pilates ringing.
06:05Hey, guys.
06:07Guys, listen to this.
06:09Here's a gift.
06:10Put these on and meet me in the workroom.
06:13Christian.
06:14What?
06:15Let's go.
06:19The last challenge was a lot for me and Antonio.
06:22I think you are being defensive and also a little bit rude.
06:26Sorry if you hate the coat.
06:27I hate the whole look.
06:28But at the same time, law, don't you worry.
06:31We're about to prove you so wrong.
06:32We're about to prove you all wrong.
06:34All right, everybody.
06:36Let's go to the workroom.
06:38Yes.
06:39Woo!
06:40My strategy about this switch is I really want to make sure I'm making the best decision for me.
06:45So do I get rid of Jesus, the boisterous one?
06:49All I have to do is prove him wrong.
06:52Or Vijay that is hard to work with.
06:55How's it going, Diva?
06:57This one.
07:00So here's to the right choice.
07:03I like to shake it up and keep that body working.
07:06Yes!
07:07Ooh.
07:08And class begins.
07:09Okay.
07:10All right, come on.
07:11Get zen.
07:12Get comfortable.
07:13Matt.
07:15I don't know any yoga poses.
07:17Does anybody know yoga poses?
07:19Okay, come show me.
07:20Yoga is not my thing.
07:22I'm the type of person that gets really bored in the gym.
07:26Bend this knee.
07:27Yes.
07:28My workout is walking to that coffee shop and then enjoy people watching.
07:33That's my workout.
07:35I think I pulled something.
07:38So you're going to continue to work in houses.
07:41Ethan, remember, you have the power to swap a member of your house.
07:48I think I am going to do a swap.
07:51A swap.
07:52Uh-oh.
07:53If Ethan is smart enough, he's going to keep me because he knows what I'm capable of doing and he knows I'm a strong designer.
08:00I think he should get rid of Vijay because she has not been a team player and bring over Antonio.
08:06The pressure.
08:07The pressure is getting wussaps.
08:09Yes.
08:10So I'm going to swap.
08:15Jesus with Madeline.
08:24Jesus and Madeline.
08:27Wow.
08:30You messed up, honey.
08:32I hope you don't regret your decision.
08:34I have full confidence that you're going to kill it.
08:36And I really want to see this dynamic happen.
08:39Because y'all have been claiming that y'all are a powerhouse together.
08:43And I want to see it.
08:44Well, get ready.
08:46They are all talk.
08:48They run a store together, but I'd love to see this store close, baby.
08:53All right.
08:54For this challenge, each house must create a cohesive activewear capsule collection.
09:01Where the collection goes from workout to the weekend.
09:05With one of the hottest activewear companies, Kalia.
09:09To give you guys some more insight into Kalia, we have a special guest.
09:16Vice President and Head Designer for Kalia, Alicia Scott.
09:21Hi guys.
09:22So good to meet all of you.
09:27We created Kalia about 10 years ago and really wanted to form a brand that is the perfect
09:34juxtaposition of fashion and femininity and function.
09:38And I love how you guys have all styled all your pieces you got today.
09:41Our entire collection is rooted in performance.
09:44If you're designing a look for Pilates or run, it needs to be able to function.
09:49We believe there's beauty in the burn.
09:51How's it going to work whenever she is doing a downward dog?
09:54Make sure that when you're designing a piece, it can be used for working out, going to grab coffee,
10:00going out to grab cocktails with your friends.
10:02It needs to be versatile.
10:04So not only has Kalia provided look books, they've also provided all the fabrications for the challenge.
10:11Okay.
10:12That's not all.
10:13Kalia is going to produce and sell the winning look from the winning collection.
10:22That would be so cool to have a Joseph McCray and Kalia produce that.
10:25I feel like it would eat down.
10:27I love the idea of this like beauty in the burn.
10:30So what if we have like fire on the runway?
10:33Ooh.
10:34Like actual fire.
10:36So you'll have all of today and part of tomorrow to create your fire worthy collections.
10:43Don't you love a one day challenge?
10:45Yes.
10:46One day to do this as if there weren't enough stress already.
10:50The burn of it all.
10:53Bye.
10:54Bye.
10:57Ethan, you want to see what it's like when you put Antonio and Knight together?
11:02It's going to be game on and it's going to push me to even do better to beat him.
11:08And then he's going to realize that he up.
11:12Girl, whatever.
11:19What's our team?
11:20Wow.
11:21Team winner.
11:22Team winner.
11:23That's a good one.
11:24Team winning.
11:25No.
11:26It has something to do with fire.
11:28Team burn.
11:29I guess it's final answer.
11:31I'm glad I put together a strong team.
11:34I really wanted to equalize the energy of our group by putting all of the boisterous energies on one team.
11:41I want this one.
11:42I want this eight.
11:43I bet you're first.
11:45I'm actually very happy that Ethan let go Jesus because I don't want another drama.
11:52That was the one that I'm using.
11:54Okay, well I can use it too.
11:57And it could be hot to do the lines in the pop-up wrap.
12:01That's what I was thinking.
12:02So we'll all have the lines incorporated.
12:03Yes.
12:04Yes.
12:05Okay.
12:06Okay guys, we need to start the cutting fabrics.
12:09I just want to be cohesive.
12:10I do like this color story situation going on over here.
12:13Yeah.
12:14But we got to pick a group of fabrics and all go with it, you guys.
12:17Y'all go with it.
12:18We decided to call our team the House of Lotus because we wanted to feel the vent within the berm.
12:23And so coming off the last challenge, being in the bottom, our stickler was our cohesion.
12:29So as we're going through these fabrics that Kalia provided us, we're really paying attention to what color palette we want to do so that we really nail that cohesion this time.
12:39Because if we miss it two times in a row, we're going to be done for.
12:42I love this fabric that was trying to get the colors out of this.
12:46This has all your colors.
12:50Once again, Antonio is choosing the fabric and I'm getting a little anxious because the last time he chose fabric, we were in the bottom.
13:00Can y'all roll the tape back?
13:01The fabric that I brought from home is in pink.
13:04So let's have the inspiration of our collection be butterflies.
13:07That's the best one out of all of them.
13:09I think we should go with that.
13:10I don't like that.
13:11No?
13:12Oh.
13:13You like this better?
13:14I mean, I like this.
13:15I don't like that either.
13:16But I mean.
13:17That's what I wanted to start with.
13:18Miss Joan, I want to know.
13:19It is what it is.
13:20Oh, is the drama already beginning?
13:23You know, working with the twins, you know, they're a whole vibe, but our looks have to be cohesive.
13:29I love Miss Joan, but she's a little, little old school and stuck in the back in the days.
13:35This fabric is so cool.
13:36It's just more young.
13:37I'll make it work.
13:43Don't use the fabric scissors, you nincompoop.
13:46I love Alex.
13:47I didn't expect this competition to become so connective so quickly.
13:52And me and Alex bonded so quickly.
13:54It's so soft.
13:55It's so soft.
13:56It's so cozy.
13:57Like she's going to be in it and be like, wow.
13:58I want it.
13:59I want it.
14:00I'm wearing a lounge sweatsuit with a corset bustier top.
14:05It all sprouted from trying to use the aspects of a kimono.
14:10I grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, but my Nana was a tailor from Nagasaki, Japan.
14:17So I find a lot of inspiration in what the Japanese call intangible cultural treasures.
14:24But my mama would say that I don't bring enough of the South with me.
14:30How are you feeling this week?
14:32Feeling great.
14:33It looks really cool.
14:34Thank you so much.
14:35I appreciate that.
14:36You are absolutely looking at the next winner of Project Runway.
14:41My design aesthetic is a combination of street wear and elegance.
14:46I want to win Project Runway for my daughter, Ava.
14:49It's right here.
14:50Having her change me as a person, it gave me so much more drive.
14:54And I do this all for her.
14:56So I have to make this stand out and hopefully wild the judges.
15:04Madeline, what informs your work?
15:07I'm trying to always like see things that I like about vintage fashion,
15:13but then giving it like my own little twist.
15:16What about yourself?
15:17I grew up in like a hoedunk farm town.
15:20I just felt inherently so different from the rest of my family.
15:23The only thing I could really do was, you know, rely on my own creativity and imagination
15:28to kind of distract me from, you know, feeling like I belong there.
15:33Did they accept you as you are?
15:35Like, you know, when I finally did come out, they were like,
15:40we don't get it yet, but we just don't want to lose you.
15:43So we're going to try to figure this out.
15:45I feel really blessed to be able to have my family in my life.
15:50So it makes me want to really push myself to win this for them.
15:59Hello.
16:00Hey, Chris J.
16:01How's the team going?
16:02Let's go.
16:05I do think the silhouette of this skirt, you still have to figure out.
16:08Oh Lord, this might send me home.
16:12I am a technical designer and I am a serious workaholic.
16:17My family is Jamaican and I've always been raised with all the elders around me doing multiple things.
16:23Even if it's not their job, they're going to figure out how to do it that day and do it.
16:27So I have to push myself because this workout weekend challenge is taking me out of my comfort zone.
16:34I really wanted to do something that was extremely comfortable.
16:37I think it feels a little too demure.
16:40I think I made the right decision.
16:43I was the one who fought to use this print because Mrs. Joan didn't like it.
16:47She still doesn't like it.
16:48Okay.
16:49So you did it again.
16:50You wanted to print again.
16:52Everybody wants this print?
16:56Groundbreaking, this circle skirt.
16:59Yeah.
17:00Mm-hmm.
17:01I can cut a circle out right now and do this in 10 minutes.
17:03Really?
17:05We're kind of not the exact same look from the last challenge, but...
17:10You're making a jacket and a skirt?
17:13A jacket and a skirt.
17:15Let me tell you a little something about Christian Seriano.
17:19Christian would come in the workroom like,
17:22Mm, are you sure about that?
17:25Or he'd be walking around like,
17:26Mm, okay.
17:28That little face be killing me with them glasses and that hair perfectly swathed to the side.
17:32The top being fabulous is very important here.
17:35You should develop this more because you already know you can make a cool jacket.
17:39I'm going to listen to Christian because I know I'm taking a risk,
17:42but I do not want to be in the bottom again.
17:44You got a lot to do.
17:45I got you.
17:46Okay.
17:47Let's get it.
17:49I'm kind of going for like that modern with a little bit of Tron.
17:53This sash doesn't do anything.
17:55She couldn't do any athletic things with this hanging.
17:59Mm.
18:02What are all these lines on this?
18:04So I kind of want to achieve this kind of like texture.
18:07All of these lines you're going to weave.
18:10The inspirations for this design is the Kalia logo.
18:14It's like a twisted string.
18:16It's like very dynamic.
18:19What are you doing?
18:20It's going to be like a more like athletic, fancy corset bustier kind of thing.
18:28This makes no sense for an athletic look.
18:32That scares me.
18:33Athleisure specifically is not something that I normally do.
18:37Unfortunately, time is not on our side in this competition.
18:42Christian has his doubts about this corset, but we're sticking to our guns.
18:47Hmm.
18:48What are you doing?
18:49I am doing an oversized hoodie, which I'm thinking about cropping.
18:54I did the pin tuck in my hand.
18:56Mm-hmm.
18:57It's going to have the same pin tuck in all over the pants as well.
19:00Oh.
19:01So you're also doing a sweat.
19:04Oversized sweat pant.
19:05Oversized sweat pant in the same fabric.
19:08Is the pant wide like that wide?
19:10It's a wide.
19:11You haven't even looked at each other's stuff and she's right in front of you.
19:14Honestly, I really don't know much about what my team is doing.
19:18This is it.
19:19Yes.
19:20Looks very similar.
19:21Having looked at the other designers on my team, I've just been too focused.
19:25So we just have a wide pant off on the runway in the same fabric.
19:31What the ?
19:32Like, what am I going to do next?
19:34I need to think fast and pivot into some other different silhouette.
19:37If I don't succeed, I'm worried it might put me on the bottom.
19:44So I'm looking at Team Lotus and it does not fit the brief that we got.
19:52What's going on?
19:53It's going to be the pop out.
19:54So we both have mesh.
19:55Their looks are looking a little all over the place.
19:57I think that we're going to take this one home.
19:59I look at the other team.
20:01It's like crickets in that side of the room.
20:03No one's really talking to each other.
20:05And here we are like, you know, blah, blah, blah.
20:07And then at night, she just puts a glove on honey.
20:11Okay, this, do this.
20:13Like, we're helping each other.
20:14Yes.
20:15Yes.
20:16Ethan, I hate to tell you, but you will be the losing team.
20:20Are you ready?
20:21Let's go.
20:22Models, let's go.
20:24Woo!
20:25Woo!
20:26Woo!
20:27Woo!
20:28Woo!
20:29This very cool jacket with a pleated skirt.
20:34That's the top?
20:35I think so.
20:36So how does one do anything athletic in that top?
20:40Sure.
20:45I think I'm over here eating it up and it's just like, yeah, no.
20:47No.
20:48Are we playing tennis where you tie your arms up?
20:52If I don't come through with this bra, like, I feel like the whole look is going to go kaput.
20:56It's so different when I design on paper and design on you.
21:01You trend's pleated skirt.
21:03It's really short.
21:04I thought it was a mistake, but it's not a mistake.
21:09Because mama, I'm a slut.
21:11You decided?
21:12Yeah, I'm going to do some nice shorts and then the cargo pockets.
21:16That shoe, are you nuts?
21:20What kind of shoe?
21:21Blah.
21:22Whoa, what?
21:23Now he's buying something.
21:26That tic-tac shoe.
21:29You have no side seam.
21:31Uh-uh.
21:32There's no side seam.
21:33Interesting.
21:34You can't do that.
21:36Look at her butt.
21:38That's crazy.
21:39These pants are styled after a Japanese hakama pant where there aren't really side seams and all of the volume is put into pleats across the back.
21:49Since we're paying homage to my Japanese ancestress, it's really important for me to nail this look that I make.
21:58And I am feeling the pressure.
22:02Bye, models.
22:04Thank you so much.
22:06Hello?
22:07Oh, I have to take this.
22:08Sorry.
22:09You're going to be laughing when that little hem falls out.
22:11I'm going to tear it up.
22:13I'm feeling really good about my look.
22:15But what if your team doesn't?
22:17But after the model fitting, I'm feeling a little worried about my team.
22:21Alex has these grand ideas, but she is running out of time.
22:25And Angelo's work is looking a little simple.
22:27If Jesus kills it, then I lost a valuable player.
22:31I hope that I made the right decision.
22:33All right, designers, send your models to the Ulta beauty salon.
22:45We got three hours to finish up these looks and send these girls down the runway.
22:50It's crunch time.
22:51Glowy, dewy kind of thing.
22:53I love it.
22:54Or maybe something that's been like smudged a little bit.
22:57That's it right there.
22:58Bye.
22:59Bye, everybody.
23:00Y'all have fun.
23:01Until next time.
23:02Is there a leader this time?
23:05No, because I think we don't want to have a leader technically because we don't want to blame someone.
23:10The last team challenge, I think Jesus was acting as the leader because he talked a lot.
23:16But this time, we don't have a leader, so it's a mess.
23:21All right, five minutes, you guys.
23:23Five minutes.
23:24We're leaving this room.
23:25That's the back of the pant?
23:27Mm-hmm.
23:28Okay.
23:29Well, I know I ain't in the back.
23:31I'm worried about Alex.
23:34She's looking not finished.
23:36Mm-mm-mm.
23:37Child.
23:38I mean, I got what?
23:40How many minutes?
23:41I am really concerned with how the top is turning out and the cut of the pant.
23:45Are there pockets?
23:46No.
23:47No.
23:48All right.
23:49But there's no more time and nothing else to do about it.
23:53All right, designers.
23:54That's it.
23:55That's time.
24:04Hello, designers.
24:05Welcome to the runway.
24:06As you know, in fashion, one day you're in and the next day, you're out.
24:10For this challenge, we ask you to create a cohesive active wear collection.
24:14For Kalia, that goes from workout to weekend.
24:18You worked in teams and you had only one day to create your collection.
24:21All right, let's meet our judges.
24:23CFDA award-winning stylist and image architect, La Roche.
24:28Hey!
24:29Editor-in-Chief of Elle magazine, Nina Garcia.
24:33Woo!
24:34And our guest judge and co-owner of the fashion line favorite daughter, Sarah Foster.
24:40Woo!
24:41I'm so excited to see Miss Sarah Foster.
24:44She has a really good head on her shoulders around how to make a woman feel beautiful and
24:48comfortable in the clothes.
24:49She's gorgeous.
24:50Okay, we're ready.
24:51Let's start the show.
24:52It's going to be flaming hot.
24:54I wish I had a marshmallow.
24:57This got flammable hair now.
24:58Wait a minute.
24:59I told you it was going to be hot and I was not talking about Hans and Franz.
25:04Hey!
25:14I do feel like I have successfully captured the essence of this challenge with creating
25:20something that goes from workout to weekend.
25:22With the pin tucking, the silhouette, the styling is really good.
25:26I'm feeling really confident.
25:28Oh, she's a professional.
25:29You know, you know.
25:30Look at us now.
25:33I'm very proud of this look.
25:35My look looks very modern, sexy, and fun.
25:38And the red line on the jacket is everything.
25:41That is a short skirt.
25:43But she's got some good legs.
25:45Look at us now.
25:47Now.
25:48Baby or not, here I come.
25:51I'm just looking at the outfit.
25:53It's not as bad as I expected it to be.
25:56But I know what's going on on the inside.
26:01This is messy.
26:02Bessy.
26:03I'm not happy about it.
26:05It could have been worse.
26:06It could have also been better.
26:08I like that.
26:09I would wear that.
26:10You're very generous.
26:11Oh, no.
26:17With my athleisure look, I'm feeling pretty satisfied.
26:20I like it.
26:21I think it's cute.
26:22It's nothing, like, really shocking.
26:24But I am just elated that the athleisure challenge is in the past.
26:28She's got it.
26:29This is what it means to have greatness.
26:32Stepping out, I ain't checking out.
26:34She looks amazing.
26:35I've worked hard to achieve that details,
26:38that those string woven by hand.
26:41I cut all those holes individually.
26:43It takes a lot of work to create that textile.
26:45I want to make sure that every piece that I make is a labor of love.
26:50I don't get that curly hair with that.
26:55With that side fin, it's flowing down the runway.
26:58It's got movement.
27:00Oh, it looks so good.
27:02I would wear that now.
27:04I may have slayed a little bit too hard this week.
27:06So I'm hoping that it can pull this team through to the win.
27:16This look, it's very universal.
27:18This girl can do Pilates and then put some heels on, put a jacket on,
27:22and go have a cocktail with the girl just at night.
27:24I'm proud of myself.
27:26It would mean a lot to win this challenge and have that collab with Leah.
27:36I'm happy with how this look turned out.
27:38I feel like it's me.
27:39And I'm starting to be more confident in what I'm designing and believe
27:44whatever I'm creating is good.
27:46I see my look coming down the runway and I'm thinking, okay, yes.
27:54Even though I didn't choose this fabric, I was able to be a team player.
27:59And I think that she looks fabulous.
28:01I love the drama.
28:05I nailed it.
28:06This is the moment.
28:09This is the moment.
28:14Well, we know who that is.
28:18My model is looking so everything.
28:21And then she unzips this jacket.
28:23And it's just like, oh, welcome to the party.
28:26Bring out the tata.
28:28I took a risk with almost recreating my previous look.
28:31And I hope this paid off.
28:36That's my girl.
28:40Wow.
28:41Like, I'm just literally getting chills.
28:43The way she's walking, the way that the pants are moving, how powerful she looks.
28:48I'm feeling great.
28:50I could definitely see this in stores and see a lot of people wanting these pants,
28:54wanting this bomber, even the bag.
28:56I love this.
28:57Our team, everything was executed beautifully.
29:00And I think that that showed on the runway.
29:02We did go good.
29:03We did it.
29:04I am not worried about myself, but it's hard to tell.
29:08You know, it's two different vibes.
29:10So I hope that the switch doesn't come back to bite me in the butt.
29:13Hello, hello, hello.
29:14Bravo.
29:15That was a show worthy of fire.
29:16Congrats to all of you.
29:17We have scored your designs.
29:18In one house, ran circles around the other.
29:20Antonio.
29:21Joan.
29:22Yes.
29:23Yes.
29:24Joseph.
29:25Yes.
29:26Jose.
29:27Yes.
29:28Jesus.
29:29And Polonia.
29:30You are the winning house.
29:31Antonio, Joan, Joseph, Jesus, and Polania.
29:40You are the winning house.
29:43What?
29:44Wait.
29:45Wait.
29:46Wait.
29:47Wait.
29:48Wait.
29:49Wait.
29:50Wait.
29:51Wait.
29:52Wait.
29:53Wait.
29:54Wait.
29:55Wait.
29:56Wait.
29:57Wait.
29:58Wait.
29:59Wait.
30:00Damn.
30:01We're going to talk to you later, and you can leave the runway.
30:05Damn it.
30:07My squad being in the bottom, it's unfortunate.
30:10I don't know what happened.
30:14I don't get it.
30:15We just clearly took two different directions, team-wise.
30:19Chips fall where they may, right?
30:22This challenge meant a lot to me.
30:24I just got in my head.
30:26I just hope that I get to stay.
30:30Congratulations.
30:31What we really liked about your collection is that there was a cohesion.
30:36Thank you so much.
30:37All right.
30:38We would like to talk to the designers that were our three favorite looks.
30:42And that is you, Joseph, Polania, and you, Jesus.
30:48So that means Joan.
30:49Yes.
30:50And Antonio.
30:51You're safe.
30:52But I do have to tell you, Antonio.
30:55We all thought that yours was our least favorite in the winning team.
31:03Thank you so much.
31:04You can leave the runway.
31:05Nice meeting you guys.
31:06Bye.
31:07I was on top again for the second week.
31:08I thought my look was really good.
31:10I want to be on top.
31:11It sucks.
31:12So I am just ready to prove these judges wrong.
31:15All right.
31:16Let's bring out your models.
31:19Come on, girls.
31:21Yes.
31:22What's up, Oscar?
31:23How we did it?
31:24We're going to start with the designer where we didn't have to guess a whole lot who made it.
31:28And that is Joseph.
31:29Without a doubt, when we saw her walk down the runway, we knew it was you.
31:33And I think she could actually work out in this because of her little shorts under.
31:37Oh, surprise.
31:38Surprise.
31:39Yay.
31:40And she could throw on a pump or a heel and go straight to the weekend, which that was the challenge.
31:45Thank you so much.
31:46I would wear that jacket to the gym, but then I'd also wear it to dinner that night with a pair of jeans.
31:51I'm into you.
31:53I don't know how else I can say it.
31:54I mean, I was into all of it.
31:56I like your look, too.
31:57I like her vibe.
31:58It stands out.
31:59It's memorable.
32:00To me, she's badass and flirty at the same time.
32:03Thank you, Joseph.
32:05Thank you so much, everyone.
32:06All right.
32:07Belania, you're next.
32:08Oh, Lauren.
32:09I really love the work that you did on this top.
32:12I think it's really beautiful.
32:14I love all the details that you made with the pockets, correct?
32:21And I love the fact that you considered an option.
32:24She can be reserved with the turtleneck, and she can be super sexy without it.
32:29Without.
32:30Yep.
32:31I mean, I like that fabric, as you can see.
32:33The detail of the skirt is really cool, and it's a flattering waistband.
32:37Waistbands can go very unflattering very easily.
32:42Whatever it is, I like it.
32:44All right.
32:45That leaves us with Jesus.
32:46Jesus, I have to say this.
32:48You have done something that a lot of people cannot do, and that is to shut me up.
32:55Wow.
32:56I was so tough on you on the runway, and you were in the winning group, and I was still
33:01tough on you on the runway.
33:03I actually hated your look.
33:04She doesn't look cool.
33:05She doesn't look young.
33:06I think this is so versatile.
33:08I think that a girl could really work out with this.
33:11And sellable, too.
33:12I think really sellable.
33:13Work out with it, and then wear it out on the weekend.
33:15I would wear those pants in a heartbeat.
33:18The pant turns into a straight-leg pant.
33:20She could wear it like this.
33:22I mean, she could open up a little.
33:24Well done on that.
33:25It's great.
33:26Fabulous.
33:27Chic and effortless.
33:29What I also love is the detail.
33:31The fact that you thought about the zipper on the side.
33:34Can you turn around?
33:36And that little pocket with that little black detail.
33:41Those details all matter, right?
33:43Yeah.
33:44Thank you, Nina.
33:45I want to be this girl that would wear this.
33:47Thank you so much.
33:48But now is the moment of truth.
33:52They can only be one winner.
33:57And Jesus, it's you.
33:58You were our favorite look.
33:59Congratulations.
34:00Oh, he's crying.
34:02Don't be hiding those tears.
34:03I want to see them.
34:07Those are tears of joy.
34:08Yeah.
34:09Not only are you the winner.
34:11That's crazy.
34:12But that also means that Kalia will also produce and sell your look.
34:16And I'm going to buy it.
34:17Me too.
34:18I love it.
34:19Congratulations.
34:20We're all going to wear it.
34:21We're all going to wear it.
34:22Wow.
34:23Thank you guys so much.
34:24All right.
34:25You can leave the runway.
34:27Oh my gosh.
34:28We did it.
34:29You love me.
34:30And I prove you wrong.
34:31I truly believe that if I would have stayed in his team, we would have won again.
34:36We won.
34:37I won.
34:38We won.
34:39When I came on Project Runway 15 years ago, I was so young.
34:45I wasn't really out of the closet at that time.
34:48And I didn't know who I was as a designer.
34:51And now coming back, I am a loud gay queer boy.
34:55So to win the challenge and do this collab with Kalia, it just reassured my purpose of why I'm
35:00here.
35:01To create really amazing stuff and to be on top.
35:04Unfortunately, you were our least favorite collection.
35:12Ethan, your team .
35:15You.
35:16Unfortunately, you are our least favorite collection.
35:23Ethan, your team you.
35:27Ethan tell us why do you think you guys are up here?
35:32Yeah, I think we did a great job.
35:36I think you did a great job.
35:39You had my favorite piece.
35:41I agree.
35:42So modern.
35:44Do you regret switching one person out?
35:47I don't want to say I shot myself in the foot,
35:50because I love our team.
35:52I don't believe you.
35:55I think you knew that you had a great look,
35:57and you didn't give a about the other people on the team.
36:01Damn.
36:03All right, Alex, Angelo, and BJ,
36:06you are our least favorite looks.
36:08That means Eugene, Ethan, and Madeline.
36:11You're safe. You can leave the runway.
36:18All right, BJ, let's start with you.
36:20Let's start with the positives,
36:22because there is a positive here.
36:24The silhouette, I think, is nice.
36:25I like the length.
36:26I like that it's not a midi, and it's not a mini.
36:28I think that's versatile.
36:29A lot of people can wear that.
36:30It's just really, that's all I liked about it.
36:33You guys like the ties dangling?
36:35I love the ties.
36:36I think it kind of looks like a tampon.
36:38I think, oh!
36:39I mean, this is unwearable.
36:42I also don't understand this girl.
36:44I think the work that you've done,
36:45I think it's quite beautiful,
36:47but it doesn't scream active wear to me at all.
36:49Like, I don't get it.
36:50That's the problem.
36:51That's the problem, yeah.
36:52You needed to make this a top, a pair of black leggings,
36:57and call it a day, and you would have had a hit.
37:01This didn't need to be a cocktail dress.
37:03Out of context.
37:05All right, Angelo, let's hear about your look.
37:07I designed men's street wear,
37:09so I just wanted to stay true to myself.
37:12I think where you have to be careful, Angelo,
37:15is that it felt to me a little safe and boring.
37:21You really need to bring in a sense of drama.
37:24Step it up.
37:25Listen, I'm a basic bitch, so I love sweats.
37:28I think this is cool.
37:30I like this. It's different.
37:31You know, I mean, it's not for me,
37:32but I appreciate that you added that detail on sweats.
37:36I think it's really well made.
37:38It's just there was no showmanship to it.
37:40Yeah.
37:41You know, I think that's where you fell flat.
37:42Okay, thank you.
37:44All right, Alex, tell us about your look.
37:46So quite a few of my pieces are also inspired by kimonos.
37:50I incorporate into the way that I create different pieces.
37:53Is that part of your heritage, the kimono?
37:55Yes, my grandmother was Japanese.
37:57Okay.
37:58So I go to the sauna a lot, and I love a corset.
38:02I don't care what the situation is.
38:04At the sauna, to relax.
38:05Well, obviously, you're not going to wear a corset in the sauna,
38:08but post-sauna, you can...
38:09But you gave her a corset.
38:11She doesn't look comfortable at all.
38:13She can't work out in this.
38:15Guys, the story has to match.
38:17You cannot piss on me and tell me it's raining.
38:20I'm sorry.
38:21Okay, well, the corset, you're right.
38:22But the pant and the sweater top, I did like.
38:25I liked the movement coming down the runway.
38:27I don't know when it was coming down.
38:28I was like, oh, it looks kind of like Laura Piano vibes.
38:30Laura Piano vibes.
38:32Come on, guys.
38:34Turn around, please.
38:35No.
38:36Do you see the seam of the pant when she turns around?
38:39There's the puckering.
38:40Yeah, it is a struggle in the back.
38:42There's a little bit of a problem with this bib that falls from the corset.
38:47I think there's too many ideas put in.
38:49The flap in the front, the flaps down the arms.
38:51The flap on the sleeve.
38:52She's playing homage to her heritage and, you know.
38:54Yes, I love that.
38:55But I don't see that in the look at all.
38:57No.
38:58All right.
38:59There's a lot for us to talk about.
39:00You can leave the runway.
39:03Let's talk about Angelo.
39:08It is a tough competition to be in if you're that much of a minimalist.
39:13Because this is a show and you're competing with people that are going to razzle dazzle.
39:18You have to remember you are in a competition.
39:20You have to remember that.
39:22Give us a show.
39:25Vijay's look was actually really good.
39:28I hated it.
39:29The ties were insane.
39:31I thought the dress was really well made.
39:33It was just out of context.
39:34Yes, I would buy that.
39:36It was the wrong story.
39:37The sneakers with it is for me the worst.
39:39Yeah.
39:40She has to really watch out for her styling because I don't think she's got it together.
39:45And it's, as we all know, a full polish look that has to come down.
39:49Yeah.
39:50It may not be at leisure wear, but I hope that the judges will appreciate the hard work that I put in that dress.
39:58Alex's was an eyesore.
39:59The execution was really poor and, frankly, I also thought her styling was bad.
40:04Yeah.
40:05That is a top.
40:06I could work with that.
40:07Like with jeans and I literally can't work with any of it.
40:11I do not want to be part of a judging panel where everybody gets a trophy.
40:15It was really bad.
40:16It was bad.
40:17It really was.
40:18I agree.
40:19I'm not ready to go home this early in the game.
40:22I want my daughter to see her dad give it his all to achieve the dream of becoming the next big thing in fashion.
40:30It has been so much fun.
40:31I'm so pissed though.
40:34It's disappointing knowing what you have to offer and not doing that.
40:41I just hope that I have the chance to show people what I bring to the table as a creative.
40:47Oh, God.
40:49My girl, Alex, she's in the bottom.
40:53I wonder if things would have been different if I kept Jesus and next Vijay.
40:58Maybe I should have been more of a leader.
41:00There's a part of me that's thinking that this is because of me.
41:04One mistake can send you home.
41:07Roger Crenwe is, I know it's going to change my life for the better.
41:16I just hope that the judges will give me another chance.
41:21Next time on Project Runway.
41:23I think we're going to blow it up.
41:25Ethan and Jesus, you'll be picking your houses.
41:28I always wanted to start my own house.
41:31Each house must show that boring can be brilliant.
41:34Sofia Vergara will wear the winning look.
41:38What is all that?
41:40Fringe?
41:41Oh, Lord.
