00:00I've just had the honor of being with President Zelensky and all of the discussions that we've
00:13had. We covered a lot of territory and I spoke in directly with President Putin today. We're
00:19going to call President Putin right after this meeting. I'm sure we're going to have a solid
00:25meeting, good meeting, maybe a great meeting. We're going to try and work out a trilat after
00:30that and see if we can get it finished.
00:38This is why the idea of a trilateral meeting is very important because this is the only
00:43way to fix it. By the way, I think as a follow-up, we would need probably a quadrilateral meeting
00:49because when we speak about security guarantees, we speak about the whole security of the European
00:54continent and this is why we are all united here with Ukraine on this on this matter.
01:01In order to organize such a trilateral meeting, your idea to ask for the truth or at least
01:06to stop the killings, as we discussed, is a necessity.
01:11She's a very young person. She's served there for a long period of time relative to others.
01:16We will talk about many important topics. The first one is security guarantees, how to be
01:23sure that it won't happen again, which is the precondition of every kind of peace. I'm happy
01:29that we will discuss about that. I'm happy that we will begin from a proposal, which is
01:34the, let's say, Article 5 model, which was Italian at the beginning. So we are always ready to bring
01:43our proposals for peace, for dialogue. It's something we have to build together to guarantee peace and to defend the security of our nation. So thank you, Mr. President, for hosting us.
