00:00Welcome to Lego Masters Junior, where the builds are epic, the challenges are wild, and the
00:14builders are little. Finally, the bricks are back where they belong. Lego Masters, what a dream come
00:23true. On a scale of 1 to 10, it's 11. We have to build for Disney? This is the best. We scoured the nation for the best young Lego builders, and boy did we find them. Five teams on a quest to become the first ever Lego Masters Junior Champions. Where are the Brick Masters? AB! Hi, Boone! I'm so excited to be a Brick Master, and it is unbelievable. You can do it so much.
00:53Much can be done in 3 minutes and 57 seconds. They're competing to take home the Lego Masters Junior Trophy and a grand prize of $50,000. If we win, we're going to retire. How can you retire if you're a child? But they're not doing it alone. They've got some famous friends ready to lend a hand. It's comedian Andy Richter! I want to grind the others into dirt. We're actually sharks out to kill. It's singer Jordan
01:23Fox. Go Lego Bricks, go Lego Bricks, we gotta build it. Let's go. It's actress Allison Sweeney.
01:30What? I'm going to work on Post Lightyear. I haven't been bossed around like this in a long time. It's reality star Portia Williams.
01:38On me, what's big? Teeth, lashes, eyes, and hair. Seems kind of easy, right? It's not. And actor, Ravi Patel. We're going all the way across that thing? Yeah, that's the bridge. Doesn't that seem a little far? It's the same Lego Masters you've always loved, with spectacular challenges. Welcome to Hogwarts. Unbelievable creations. And heartbreaking goodbyes. It's just looking pretty basic.
02:08Jesus. I'm about to cry. I'm Kelly Osborne and welcome to Lego Masters Jr.
02:15I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I need to calm down. I do not want to freak anyone out. I'm excited. I am so excited. I cannot wait. I cannot take this anymore. Open the doors. Let's start the show.
02:33What a dream come true. Oh, look at all the bricks. When I saw season one come out, I was like, I need to grow up right away. I want to be on this show so bad. Oh my goodness.
02:56Please, Louise! Wow! I am so excited to be here right now. On a scale of one to ten, it's eleven. This is amazing! This is awesome. Hello! Look at all those mini figures. There's like thousands. Yeah. Welcome to the very first ever Lego Masters Jr. Yeah! Yeah! Are you excited? Yeah! Are you pumped? Yeah! Yeah! I know what you're thinking. Will Arnett just got a lot prettier.
03:26Right? My name is Kelly Osborne and I will be your host. Think of me just like your crazy aunt that lets you stay up late, eat whatever you want. That's my grandma. And play with Lego bricks all day long.
03:40Yeah! Are you excited? Best part of Lego Masters? No homework! No homework! How does it feel to be on Lego Masters Jr.? It's insane just like looking at all the bricks. It's better than anything I ever thought it would be.
03:54Vincent and Hudson, tell us how you know each other. We know each other through Taekwondo and all together we've been building together for five years.
04:03AJ and Zach, how old are you guys and how do you know each other? I'm 13, he is 9, and we are brothers. I'm 11! Oh! Okay, okay. He's 11. Do you think you could take on the adults?
04:15No. No. No. You're supposed to say yes! Yes. Okay. I believe that you guys could take on the adults. I've seen some of your work and it's pretty awesome. I know there are two people here I know you'll want to meet. Please be here, me and T.
04:30Please be here, me and T. All the way from Lego Headquarters in Denmark, please say hello to the legendary Brick Master Amy and the newest Brick Master, Brick Master Boone.
04:43Hi, Brick Master Boone. You're literally living the dream right now. You went from competing on Lego Masters to now being a Brick Master.
05:01It is unbelievable. Being part of the Lego Masters family has completely changed my life. From building right here with Mark and Robin and now working at Lego Headquarters and you never know, one of you might be one of our Lego designers someday.
05:18That's right. It would be amazing to work at Lego and be a set designer and it's always been a dream of mine to eventually work there and, you know, maybe even see Brick Master Boone and Amy on a daily basis.
05:29Lego Masters Junior is happening. I know. I know we wanted to do this for so long and we searched the whole country to find the very best. I mean we had thousands of applications and you guys came out at the top so I am so excited.
05:45So, for our first Lego Masters Junior Challenge, we're taking a trip to the wonderful world of Disney.
06:00We get to go for Disney, this is the best!
06:04But don't worry, I'm not going to let you go through this alone. I found some super fun friends to come and help you build. Do you want to meet them?
06:12Yes!
06:13Yeah!
06:14Oh, okay.
06:15So, Will and Crosby, you're up first. Let's use a little magic to find out who your teammate is. You know him from the holiday classic Elf and of the voice of Mort in the Madagascar movies.
06:26And your parents know him as Conan O'Brien's long-time late-night sidekick. It's...
06:33It's Andy Richter!
06:36Every kid's favorite 57-year-old man.
06:40Hey guys!
06:41Hi!
06:42Will and Crosby, how do you feel about your new teammate?
06:44Good.
06:45I think we'll do pretty well.
06:47Oh, we will win!
06:49Right guys?
06:50Yeah!
06:51Yeah!
06:52Sorry kids.
06:54Stella and Shelley, let's find out who you're teaming up with.
06:57At 17, she became the youngest American Idol winner ever.
07:01She went on to top the charts and sell millions of albums.
07:04She acts, she hosts, and now she builds.
07:08It's...
07:10Whoa!
07:11Oh!
07:12Hi!
07:13It's Fox!
07:14Hi guys!
07:15Hello, hello!
07:16So, Jordan, are you ready for this new challenge?
07:18Oh, bring it on guys. Bring it on.
07:20Rock and roll girlies.
07:22Yay!
07:23Boom.
07:24So, Max and Zoe, let's meet your celebrity partner.
07:26She went from being a real housewife of Atlanta to a Lego master in training.
07:31It's...
07:32Portia Williams!
07:33Oh!
07:38Was that too much?
07:40I'm about to bring it down.
07:41Portia, go say hello to your new teammates, Max and Zoe.
07:44Hi!
07:46Give me a hug!
07:47How are you feeling about the competition?
07:49I feel like the blue team is going to give everybody else the blues, right guys?
07:52Ooh!
07:53Right?
07:54We're going to give them the blues!
07:55Whee, whee, whee.
07:58AJ and Zach, are you ready?
07:59Yes.
08:00Yes.
08:01Let's meet your newest teammate.
08:02An Emmy Award winner, who hosted one of my favorite reality competition shows, The Biggest Loser.
08:08It's...
08:10Allison Sweeney!
08:11Whoa!
08:12Whoo!
08:15Are we gonna do this?
08:16Can we high fives?
08:17Yes.
08:18So, Allison, do you have any experience building?
08:20I've experienced cleaning up Lego bricks after my children, so that's my area of expertise, just so you know.
08:25Um, you should help us reach the pieces that are high that we can't reach.
08:29Oh!
08:30Perfect.
08:31Vincent Hudson, are you ready?
08:33Yes.
08:34Oh, for sure, yeah.
08:35He worked with animals on Fox's Animal Control.
08:40And he worked in the movie Transformers.
08:43It's Ravi Patel!
08:47I'm here!
08:50Hello!
08:51Woo!
08:52I'm sure Vincent and Hudson will take such good care of you.
08:55Oh, I can't wait, guys.
08:56I'm only here to win, not have fun.
08:58And I hope this will impress my seven-year-old daughter, because she is... I'm always seeking her validation.
09:03That's why I'm here.
09:04So, we have our very own Disney train traveling through five magical lands.
09:11In each one, there are two iconic Lego minifigs that call that land home.
09:16They are Mickey and Minnie in Toontown.
09:19From Frozen, Anna and Elsa in Arendale.
09:22From Toy Story, Woody and Buzz in Andy's room.
09:26Yes!
09:27I want that one!
09:28From The Little Mermaid, Ariel and Ursula under the sea.
09:31And Peter Pan and Tinker Bell in Neverland.
09:34Well, I'm a massive Disney fan, and I used to work on the Lego Disney sets, so I love this challenge.
09:41This week, we're asking you to build fantastical environments that our train can travel through that will really represent the characters you choose.
09:48We also want you to incorporate power functions to get a little movement as part of that Disney magic.
09:55We're giving you seven hours to build your magical wonderland.
09:59This is going to be so fun. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. This is great.
10:02On my call, you will run in there and grab the train with the two minifigs that will inspire your build.
10:08Toy Story. Nobody else is going for Toy Story.
10:11Are you ready?
10:12Yes!
10:13Oh my god, I've been waiting to say this. Excuse me.
10:17Get your brick on!
10:21Right.
10:22Toy Story, I'm going to...
10:23Box them out! Let's go!
10:24Let's go!
10:25Let's go!
10:26Let's go!
10:27Oh, we can't grab two.
10:28Wait, you can't have two, guys.
10:30One? Oh, this one. This one. This one.
10:32It's a good thing I showed up.
10:34Wow, this is off to a good start.
10:36You're already bullying the other children.
10:38It's certainly getting competitive.
10:40Yeah.
10:47That's awesome.
10:48There's so much going on right now.
10:50Yeah, I mean, it's so fun to kick off with a Disney challenge. The kids are in charge. It's electric.
10:55Oh, the clock is actually going.
10:57Oh my god. Okay, wait, wait, wait.
10:58I think we're going to see some pretty magical things.
11:01My favourite thing about building with Lego is it's the door into your imagination.
11:07I have been through the competition. I've been through the experience. It is life-changing. And I love it.
11:13Hailey, how did you feel when you first stepped in the studio and the brick pattern you had your first challenge?
11:18Oh my god, it was so intimidating and scary. It is so exciting being the host of Lego Masters Junior because it has become a part of my day-to-day life.
11:26You learn a lot in every challenge, right? And by the end of it, you were quite the Lego expert.
11:30Thank you so much.
11:32We got Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Back here we can have Annie's room, okay?
11:36And then we have two support beams and Buzz Lightyear flies in on, like, the string. He zooms down.
11:41Oh, that's so cool.
11:43Who are you thinking we could put one giant ship here?
11:45Okay.
11:46And then Ariel's rock will be, like, right here.
11:48Mickey and Minnie.
11:49Mickey and Minnie.
11:50We could probably have, like, minifigs spinning. It could be, like, a parade float.
11:54We're doing Frozen, and we got to think bigger than ever.
11:57Maybe up top there can be, like, a little snowflake thing that's spinning around.
12:01Yes.
12:02Okay, I love that.
12:03And maybe we can have one more movement thing.
12:05Yeah, one more movement thing.
12:07Um...
12:08We got Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.
12:11So we were thinking, like, water and land.
12:14So is this side ocean and this side is land?
12:16Yes.
12:17Is that what you're thinking?
12:18Yeah, this is...
12:19Go team Taekwondo!
12:20Ha!
12:21Ha!
12:22Ha!
12:23I'm Vincent.
12:24And I'm Hudson.
12:25And we're friends who practice Taekwondo.
12:30So you wouldn't expect it, but Taekwondo has helped us a lot with Lego Masters Junior.
12:38It's discipline, honesty, belief, really good character traits.
12:45Like the Lost Boys hideout kind of thing?
12:48I think he's done with his part of the meeting.
12:51Yeah.
12:52Peter Pan is kind of my family thing.
12:54When I was younger, my Nona made me a Peter Pan costume, and I was a kid who dressed up all the time.
13:04Not anymore.
13:05Not anymore.
13:07Or maybe still all the time.
13:11We are making Neverland from the Peter Pan movies.
13:14We're gonna make Captain Hook's pirate ship.
13:17And the crocodile is just spinning around in the water.
13:21Trying to get Captain Hook to fall into his mouth.
13:25Start building a skull rock.
13:27I don't know how to do that.
13:28How would I do that?
13:29Just build a skull!
13:30What?
13:32I don't know how to build a skull!
13:33I have Disney Lego structures in my daughter's bedroom right now, many of which I helped her build.
13:38Now, of course, the difference is she gets these instructions.
13:42Make sure that all of this is even.
13:44Gotcha.
13:45I can do that.
13:46Let's start with the simple sky.
13:47Okay, guys.
13:48You see the crack?
13:49You put this on top of it.
13:50Like, that's what it interlocks.
13:51It's called interlocking.
13:52It's very simple.
13:53There's a lot more pressure building with AJ and Zach.
13:56To what?
13:57I'm gonna work on here.
13:58I'm gonna work on Buzz Lightyear.
13:59Okay.
14:00It's like I haven't been bossed around like this in a long time.
14:02How do you do that?
14:03Well, you gotta really get in there.
14:04I can help you do it.
14:05Like, how do they know how to do that?
14:07I'm sorry.
14:08It's okay.
14:09I don't have that much experience with Lego.
14:11There you go.
14:12I'm Zachary.
14:13I'm AJ.
14:14And we're some brothers.
14:16Just we're brothers.
14:18And we're brothers.
14:19Okay.
14:20Oh, okay.
14:21I need them.
14:22We're brothers.
14:23We are all about Lego vehicles and video games.
14:26We look like the Mario brothers.
14:28Yeah.
14:29I need black for the Pizza Planet sky.
14:32Okay.
14:33Us together as a team, we could probably win this.
14:38We're not gonna make Pizza Planet.
14:39We're gonna make this little Andy's room because we put a town in it.
14:42We figured out we don't need a bit.
14:43Oh, okay.
14:44Sure.
14:45We got Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story for our minifigs and we are going to build Andy's room.
14:50I'm gonna add all the toys in there.
14:52Our idea is to have Buzz Lightyear flying with the train.
14:56I'm excited for this challenge.
14:58This is gonna be fun.
15:00This has to be epic.
15:01Yes.
15:02It's gonna impress the brick masters.
15:06Did you guys dream about Legos?
15:08Lego bricks.
15:09Chill, man.
15:10Saying Legos is really a big no-no in the Lego community.
15:15Are there round Legos that we can use as a cloud?
15:18I did not expect the Legos to be...
15:20It's Lego bricks!
15:21A lot of the celebrities have just been just saying Legos.
15:26I have done complicated Legos before.
15:28Lego bricks.
15:29So my experience with Legos...
15:31Lego bricks.
15:32Technically, Lego stands for a thing in Danish called play well.
15:39So if you say Legos, you're basically saying play wells.
15:43My son used to have like a huge collection of Legos.
15:47We've lived a long time and we grew up saying it a certain way.
15:51I always used to say Legos back when I...
15:54Back when you were...
15:55Back when you were...
15:56Back when you were...
15:57They talked about Legos quite a bit, but I didn't hear one mention of snacks.
16:01You can't say Legos, but I think people have been saying Legos.
16:04Is this a new thing or did no one tell me?
16:07Nobody's told you this, huh?
16:09So at home with your Lego bricks, do you have all of this?
16:12No.
16:13Like what?
16:14This is like next level.
16:15When I saw the Disney sign, I got excited because Disney is all about imagination.
16:20Zoe.
16:21Yes.
16:22I'm Max and I'm nine years old.
16:24And I'm Zoe and I'm 13 and we're siblings.
16:26I love playing with Lego bricks because I love spending time with my sister.
16:31Max is my best friend.
16:32Aw.
16:33Sometimes.
16:34Sometimes.
16:35Okay, I'm gonna just speed work on this castle.
16:39Speed build.
16:40We chose Anna and Elsa and Arendelle from Frozen.
16:44We are making Arendelle Castle, an ice rink that spins and a spinning star.
16:49Are you kidding me?
16:50This is gonna take forever.
16:52Like 42-year-old eyes looking at those itty bitty pieces.
16:56I need bifocals.
16:57Like I couldn't even...
16:58I need bifocals.
16:59I love where you put those windows.
17:02Thanks.
17:03Because what we don't want to do is have it look like a prison.
17:11Will, Crosby, and Andy, how are you guys doing?
17:13Good.
17:14Good.
17:15We're just busy beavers working.
17:16Will and Crosby, how long have you guys been friends?
17:18Well, I moved in right next door to him about two years ago.
17:22We're both 13 and we're best friends.
17:24Ever since he moved in, we've been building Lego and spending time together.
17:28I had this vision of you guys seeing each other and being like,
17:31you look like a Lego guy.
17:33Lights and birds were singing and the wind came gusting through.
17:37It was fate.
17:38It was fate.
17:39So tell me about your build.
17:40We are making Mickey and Minnie Toontown.
17:43We have Disney characters spinning in front
17:45and the other one is a parade float going on in the back.
17:48That looks awesome.
17:50Now, did you get the characters you wanted?
17:52They were the last ones left because Porsche's team tried to take two.
17:55Yep.
17:56They won't say it, but I will.
17:58Hey, Porsche.
17:59Yeah?
18:00There's some smack talk going over here.
18:01We ratted you out that you tried to take Mickey and Minnie and Frozen.
18:04That is so not true.
18:05You made the wrong choice.
18:07How's it over there with your ice and your castle?
18:09Yeah.
18:10Good luck.
18:11I can't even see yours.
18:12It's kind of small from here.
18:13Oh.
18:14It's a reality show.
18:15We have to trash talk.
18:16That's what people tune in to hear.
18:18Adults insulting each other on behalf of children.
18:21Yeah, this is what I have so far.
18:25And then we're going to have it like turning in the water.
18:28The crocodile is like, ah.
18:30Dude, that's awesome.
18:31Yes.
18:32I'm building this park.
18:33So Buzz Lightyear.
18:34Shh.
18:35Yeah, that's cool.
18:36The idea is for the power functions.
18:37To have Buzz Lightyear flying with the train across a monorail.
18:42Ooh, it's kind of saggy.
18:45Oh, my goodness.
18:47Oh, no.
18:49This is a really important part of the room.
18:53It just needs to be sturdy.
18:55We can build two more towers like this that go around the train.
18:58Actually, no.
18:59Because then Buzz Lightyear won't be able to move.
19:01It has to just be like this.
19:03Things are not looking good for our monorail.
19:05It's sagging a lot.
19:06I can't do this in time.
19:07It's going to be amazing.
19:09AJ is really trying to accomplish a lot.
19:12And I worry that I'm not doing enough to help out.
19:14Dude, I think we're going to go in the bottom, too.
19:16Well, I don't know if we're going to be able to finish this.
19:19I can't do this anymore.
19:20OK.
19:21This isn't working.
19:22I need to be even, though.
19:23That side and this side.
19:25I can't break it.
19:27OK.
19:28Oh.
19:29Uh-oh.
19:30It's OK.
19:31I don't want to lose.
19:32I really don't want to lose.
19:33OK.
19:34I don't want to lose it either.
19:38I...
19:39OK.
19:40Oh!
19:41It's OK.
19:42I don't want to lose.
19:43I really don't want to lose.
19:44OK.
19:45I was feeling pretty stressed because the monorail fell down.
19:46We were running out of time.
19:47So why isn't it working?
19:48Tell me what's not working.
19:49It's not working.
19:50I just need these four towers to be all equal.
19:52OK.
19:53We caught it in the nick of time.
19:55If it had hit the ground, it would have been all in a million pieces.
19:58If it went on a diagonal across the room...
20:00That would be really...
20:01Then it would allow the...
20:02That would be a lot harder to make, though.
20:03AJ and Zach are really impressing me.
20:05Their understanding of LEGO is incredible.
20:08Maybe we just move the whole thing to the board...
20:10Yeah, OK.
20:11...so that the towers can support it better.
20:13So I feel my role is definitely a motherly maternal,
20:16like keeping them focused on their goals.
20:18Yeah, you're right.
20:19That's a good idea.
20:20We had to really utilize teamwork here
20:23so that Ally could hold it up while I fix the support beam
20:26and we can fix the structure.
20:27Oh, I did it.
20:28I got the bridge up.
20:29We're all working on something.
20:30We can get more work done.
20:32Yes.
20:33You...
20:34You really handled it well.
20:35You're...
20:36You're a classy guy, AJ.
20:41Oh.
20:42Hello, Stella, Shelly, Jordan.
20:44Hello.
20:45Welcome to LEGO Masters.
20:47Thank you for having us.
20:48Do you feel excited for a challenge in LEGO Masters?
20:50Yeah, I'm excited.
20:51I'm so excited to meet you.
20:52We're excited to meet you.
20:53Oh, and you too.
20:54Yeah, I can tell which one of us is your favorite.
20:58And remind us how you two know each other.
21:00So, I'm 14.
21:01I'm 12.
21:02Uh-huh.
21:03We are best friends that spend the summers together.
21:06I am so proud to be doing it with you, and I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else.
21:10I'm excited to do this with you as well, because I don't know anyone else who's, like, obsessed with LEGO besides...
21:15Me.
21:16Amy.
21:17Oh.
21:18That works.
21:20We always go out shopping for LEGO, and then we sit for hours building.
21:23I love that.
21:24I love that.
21:25What characters do you have, and what are you going to build for them?
21:28We picked the Little Mermaid.
21:29We have Ariel and Ursula, and we're making Under the Sea.
21:32She's going to be for Ursula, her little lair, spinning sharks, and then Ariel's rock right here, where she goes...
21:40This is your first challenge.
21:41I know it's tough.
21:42I remember building at this table, and Brickmaster Amy would come up, and she would say,
21:47where's the color?
21:48So I'd encourage you to think what colors you're going to use to bring that bit of extra Disney magic to your underwater creation.
21:55Yeah.
21:56And you're also one of the only teams who has a villain.
21:58A villain.
21:59Yeah.
22:00So think about how you can really showcase the villain and make her a little bit of a star.
22:04Well, that's a good point.
22:05Good luck, okay?
22:06Thank you guys so much.
22:08Villainy is over here, and Gorgeous is over there.
22:12Maybe one side is the light, and one is the dark.
22:15I love it.
22:16I like dark light.
22:17Hello.
22:20Hello, everybody.
22:21Look at her!
22:23What do you think of my new vehicle?
22:25I like a car.
22:26It's really nice.
22:27Andy, you want to ride?
22:28Ah!
22:29She hit me!
22:30Oh, my God.
22:31Call a lawyer.
22:32Do you guys want to see how fast this thing goes?
22:34Yes.
22:35Let's see.
22:36Okay, let's see.
22:37That was a bad idea.
22:38Five, six, seven, eight, go.
22:39Woo!
22:40Gosh!
22:41Ah!
22:42Woo!
22:43Woo!
22:44Woo!
22:45Do it again!
22:48I've got places to be, people.
22:50Get back to building.
22:51That's cool.
22:58Here we go.
22:59And, watch.
23:00That looks good.
23:01Jeez, they've got a castle.
23:03Elsa, you know, on a group.
23:05They're gonna pick up their games.
23:06We gotta pick up ours.
23:07Looking around, a lot of the other builds are a lot taller than ours.
23:11So, we thought we need to have more movement than other teams.
23:15So, with these things, you can program them to have words come across.
23:18Oh, nice.
23:19And I think we're gonna have Toontown come across it.
23:21Oh, good.
23:22It'll be different than the other things.
23:24Any other things?
23:25We are planning on having a parade float that runs back and forth.
23:28Do you want me to have it say Toontown, then?
23:30Yeah.
23:31So, we can have Toontown everywhere.
23:32But, the thing is, me and Crosby have never made anything with these new components.
23:35The motor.
23:37Good way.
23:39You might wanna change the speed.
23:42You killed Mickey.
23:43More than Mickey, I think I killed the town.
23:45Oh, it's up the town.
23:47I mean, I don't wanna go home.
23:49Do you guys wanna go home?
23:50No.
23:51Obviously, I wanna win.
23:53I wanna grind the others into dirt.
23:55I would never let them know.
23:57They're gonna find that out when they see this on TV.
23:59Yeah.
24:00Until then, they're going to think that we're three nice Midwestern boys,
24:04and we're actually sharks.
24:06Out to kill.
24:11All right.
24:12Let's move, move, move, boys.
24:13Wow, we're getting really close to crunch time.
24:16Oh my gosh, one minute, Zoe.
24:17It's all the scary one hour thing.
24:19Max, buddy, you don't need to cover your ears.
24:22It's gonna be fine.
24:23Okay, it's just gonna be kind of loud.
24:24I wanted to hit one hour, so then all the lights turn right and it goes down.
24:27Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.
24:28Dang, dang.
24:29Oh, here we go.
24:32One hour left!
24:34One hour left!
24:35One hour left!
24:38Ah!
24:39No!
24:40That's so cool.
24:41Woo!
24:42No!
24:43I have never been under this much pressure, ever!
24:45That's it?
24:46I was expecting more.
24:48All right, guys, we are in crunch time.
24:49We have a lot to get done.
24:51We gotta move faster.
24:52Yes.
24:55It feels like we are very behind schedule.
24:58We haven't stirred in Mermaid Lagoon.
25:00Okay, well, let's get moving.
25:01Stop looking and let's board.
25:03Do you guys feel that way?
25:04Yes.
25:05Oh, yeah, for sure.
25:06I felt exactly like that.
25:07We might need to start thinking about what we can prioritize.
25:10Some parts of the base plate is still gray.
25:12We haven't even done that.
25:13Oh, man.
25:14Oh, man.
25:15Oh, man.
25:16Oh, man.
25:17Oh, man.
25:18Things just need to get done now.
25:19Whatever you can get done needs to get done right now.
25:20I agree.
25:21Oops.
25:22I just ripped my hair off.
25:23Where's my ball?
25:24Where's my human?
25:25What's that?
25:26Vincent, Vincent, come back here.
25:27Hey, buddy, we need you.
25:28Come here.
25:29Look at that.
25:30Look at that.
25:31The worst times.
25:32Just keep building right now.
25:33We need to keep building right now.
25:35I understand.
25:38And maybe don't sing.
25:39The singing is distracting all of us.
25:46Whoa.
25:47You feeling your blood pumping?
25:49Oh, yeah, man.
25:50We still need to finish the landscaping.
25:54All right.
25:55Finish those hills up.
25:56We just need more decoration around this.
25:57Yeah.
25:58Just make any type of plants you can.
26:00I am so stressed.
26:03I am worried we could be in the bottom, too,
26:07if we do not finish this.
26:09We forgot to place the waves.
26:11Where are they?
26:12I don't know where they are.
26:14Do you need help?
26:15We have some.
26:16Oh, that's so good.
26:17Angels.
26:20Need help?
26:21Yes, please.
26:22What do you need?
26:23Just place any transparent down on the water.
26:25Max and Max's celebrity came over to help us,
26:28and it was like angels coming from the sky.
26:32Angels.
26:33Just place them anywhere in the water.
26:35To, like, make waves.
26:37Yes.
26:38Oh, man.
26:39Thank you, Max.
26:40Thank you, Max.
26:41Thank you, Portia and Zoe.
26:42Thank you, Portia.
26:43You got us to this point.
26:44You're wonderful people.
26:45This is great.
26:46The leg of spirit.
26:48Not something I would have done for them.
26:49Mm-hmm.
26:50Yeah.
26:51They're putting this on TV.
26:53Is this enough sharks, you think?
26:54Yeah, it's a lot.
26:55Now I gotta figure out how to make it.
26:56Is this supposed to hang on something?
26:58The power function.
26:59It's always a risk, right?
27:00Is it going to pay off?
27:01It can go from something that puts you in the top.
27:05You think you can have that done, Crosby?
27:06I should be able to.
27:07Absolutely.
27:08To being something that puts you in the bottom.
27:10Ah, come on.
27:11Okay, so now you decide to work?
27:13Our mind-controlled sharks are spinning out of control.
27:15They're wobbling.
27:16They're going back and forth.
27:17They're swaying.
27:18Can you work on that now?
27:19Since...
27:20Since...
27:21I can't.
27:22It just...
27:23It turns back on.
27:24Or it just decides to stop, I guess.
27:26We really need to fix that because we have to have this power function on our builds.
27:30No, I said no.
27:31It's not a good situation.
27:33We're...
27:34Unstoked.
27:35Unstoked.
27:36I'm stealing that.
27:37Do you know what?
27:38The kids are so much more focused than the adults are.
27:40I know.
27:41You would think you'd be the other way around.
27:42What is happening?
27:43Oh, we keep clicking the button.
27:45The scale the teams have gone with, the details, the functions.
27:49It is so impressive.
27:50They're building well above their age.
27:52Is it spinning?
27:53Is it spinning?
27:54Yes, it's spinning.
27:55It's spinning.
27:56I am really happy that we got our power functions working.
27:57We needed to make sure it was sturdy enough.
27:59Oh, finishing touches, everybody.
28:01Rush!
28:02One minute before the Disney train departs.
28:04I think I got it.
28:05I think it's done.
28:06I'm getting lightheaded at this pressure.
28:08Oh.
28:09Five, four, three, two, one.
28:14Time's up.
28:15Bricks down.
28:16Woo!
28:17Congratulations, Lego Master Junior.
28:20Woo!
28:21We did it, boys.
28:22We did it, boys.
28:23Constant positivity.
28:24Ew.
28:25Look at this.
28:26Lego energy.
28:27We got it.
28:28Now it's time for the Brickmasters to take a closer look at what you built.
28:31Vincent, Hudson, and Ravi, you're up first.
28:34Come on over.
28:35All right.
28:36All right.
28:37Can you guys show me some moves, please?
28:40Hiya!
28:41So, there's the tornado kick.
28:44Ooh.
28:45Woo!
28:46Right.
28:47Nice.
28:49Do you guys have, like, a broomstick or something anywhere?
28:52Maybe.
28:53Try this.
28:54Will that work?
28:55Stand back, everybody.
28:56Oh, God.
28:57Let's see what I have.
29:00Wow.
29:01Wow.
29:02Wow.
29:03Wow.
29:04Oh, my God, Hudson, you are so impressive.
29:08That was amazing.
29:09Yes, thank you very much.
29:11So, which minifigs did you guys choose?
29:13We chose Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.
29:16So, we have built Neverland, and the fun never ends.
29:22Peter went searching far and wide for the perfect kids, and he found Vincent and Hudson.
29:29And Ravi.
29:30Yes.
29:31And Ravi.
29:32He needed their taekwondo skills to defeat Captain Hook.
29:37They kicked Hook right off that ship, right into the crocodile's mouth.
29:42Woo!
29:44Good job.
29:45That was awesome.
29:46Their story's good.
29:47Hudson, Vincent, Ravi, you've done such a good job.
29:51You have all of those key story details that really make it Neverland.
29:55I mean, I love that you've got that all-important pirate ship.
29:58I learned so much about the two of you and your personalities in this build, too.
30:03So, great job.
30:04One of the things that impressed me most is Hook in the mouth of the crocodile.
30:10But it's over there in the very corner of your build.
30:13And I would have loved to see that really be front and center.
30:16But we love Neverland.
30:19You guys should be really proud.
30:21Woo!
30:22Stella, Shelley, and Jordan, come on up.
30:25Yeah!
30:26Which minifig did you choose?
30:28We chose Ariel and Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
30:32The mountain is for all the mermaids to live in beautiful harmony with each other.
30:37And the broken shipwreck on the other side is for Ursula and her mind-controlled sharks.
30:43Ursula has found a new lair and is looking to lure some poor, unfortunate souls.
30:49And when Stella seems too close, Ursula sees her chance, sending sharks to cross in this ship.
31:07Thankfully, it's Stella and Jordan to the rescue.
31:10The sharks are left dizzy, Ursula is left empty-handed, and knowing everyone is safe, Ariel and Flounder can celebrate.
31:21Just goes to show the best kind of rescue ship is a friendship.
31:25And...
31:27Live happily ever after.
31:29I really love that storytelling in the middle of your build.
31:32Those sharks are spinning, telling us that perils happening.
31:35I would say that on the dark side, I would have loved to see a little bit of purple,
31:39a little bit of black.
31:40If you'd really pulled from the colors of Ursula,
31:42I think it would have made it feel even more like that character.
31:45But I love the way you built the shipwreck.
31:47All those curved shapes had a great effect.
31:55The Disney train.
31:57Come on up, AJ, Zach and Ali.
32:02We got Woody and Buzz from Toy Story.
32:04This is Andy's room.
32:06We made all the toys in there because that's Toy Story.
32:09Buzz Lightyear is flying in.
32:12He's our hero.
32:13And when the train comes by, it's supposed to give you that feeling like you're flying with Buzz.
32:19Wow.
32:20You guys, this build is so cool.
32:22I feel like your whole build is coming to life and the toys are in action.
32:25You've really brought the Disney magic in the way you've brought the characters and the details.
32:31I love the power function with Buzz.
32:34But one thing that distracts me is these big gray pillars.
32:39And I would have loved to see you incorporate those into the world of Andy's bedroom.
32:43Maybe they're the legs of his bed or the desk.
32:46But besides those big gray pillars, I really do feel like I'm there.
32:49So you should be proud.
32:51We thought we had a pretty good build, but the brickmasters thought that too much of the build was obstructed by our towers.
33:02We might go home.
33:03My pits are sweating.
33:05Next up is Max, Zoe, and Portia.
33:16Yay!
33:17Woo!
33:18We chose Anna and Elsa from Frozen.
33:22We built the Arendelle Castle.
33:24Anna and Elsa are enjoying a good time celebrating that Elsa's finally back on the ice rink.
33:30And at the top of the castle, we have a magical spinning ice star.
33:34One more thing.
33:36Now we're going to sing Let It Go.
33:39No, we're not.
33:40Oh, we're not?
33:41Oh, okay.
33:42Sorry.
33:43You can.
33:44No.
33:45We are so impressed by the size of castle that you managed to build.
33:48I think my very favorite part of it is that snowflake on the top.
33:52The way you built it, you used all of our long translucent pieces.
33:55You fanned them out.
33:57It's just such a magical feature on the top of the castle.
34:00I think your functions were really wonderful.
34:02But you guys left a lot of the base plate with nothing on it.
34:06Those empty spaces make me wonder what other magical frozen elements might you have incorporated.
34:12But I love your Arendelle, so I hope you can feel proud of what you've done in this build.
34:17Good job, guys!
34:18Boom said that it was like too much white that was there.
34:23Here we go.
34:24Sir, it's snow!
34:27Will, Crosby, Andy, come on up.
34:30Yeah!
34:31Woo!
34:32We chose Mickey and Minnie, and they're on their adventure in Toontown.
34:37We had several Disney characters spinning around in the front of the build.
34:41On the other side of the build, we put the parade floats on back and forth so that you sort of see movement from both sides of the train.
34:47Their build looks awesome.
34:49Toontown, it's more about a place, so there's lots of different elements to see.
34:53In the back, there's like a crazy cat man with like 30 cats, and there's a lady chasing a rat with a sword.
35:00Pluto's trying to steal a pie.
35:02I mean, what a cool build.
35:04When we think of Mickey and Minnie, we think fun.
35:07We think color.
35:08And you've thought about that in every aspect of your build.
35:13I do wish, however, that you just raise those houses in the back a tiny bit up.
35:17I think if you'd built a little bit of a platform for the houses, you would have seen them even more clearly as the parade float goes by.
35:23So I think really thinking about your composition is a great tip in the future.
35:27I think your functions were really wonderful.
35:30The sign on the parade.
35:32This is the first time we've ever seen a builder on LEGO Masters program that brick to be a scrolling marquee.
35:41This is literally a first.
35:42Yeah!
35:43Okay?
35:44Woo!
35:45The adults haven't done it.
35:46I think the adults definitely have to watch out.
35:48Yes.
35:49You guys did a fantastic job.
35:50Thanks.
35:51Well done.
35:52Really smart.
35:53It feels so cool to make LEGO Masters history.
35:55Nobody else has done that where they have the words come across the screen.
35:59Yeah!
36:00Good job, guys.
36:01I'm a dad.
36:02It's kind of hard to turn off the dadding, and I was super proud of my boys.
36:07At this point, I would like to think that you are all winners.
36:10But unfortunately, this is a competition, and I have absolutely no idea how the Brick Masters
36:16are going to send any of you home today.
36:19I have to say, you have all done incredible builds.
36:23I can't believe we're watching LEGO Masters Junior Builders, because you've blown us all
36:29away with builds as good as the adults do.
36:31So you should all be super duper proud.
36:33So let's start with the good.
36:36The first team I'd like to call forward for the top two is...
36:42Will Crosby and Andy for Toontown.
36:45And the second team I'd like to call forward today is...
36:52Vincent Hudson and Ravi for Neverland.
36:58Oh, my God!
37:00Oh, my!
37:01We're the top two!
37:02We didn't win together!
37:04Will Crosby and Andy, your colorful buildings and wonderful characters really drew us into Toontown
37:12and made us feel like we were there.
37:14And that animated sign on your parade float, first time we've ever seen it on LEGO Masters.
37:20It was brilliant.
37:22Vincent Hudson and Ravi, we love that you brought the Disney magic to every single detail of your builds.
37:30You captured all of those key icons we want to see in Neverland.
37:34And you really celebrated who you are as a team and your personalities in that great scene on the pirate ship.
37:40Okay, it is time to find out who has won our first ever LEGO Masters Junior Challenge.
37:52And the winning team is...
38:00Vincent Hudson and Ravi!
38:20It feels great!
38:24It feels great!
38:25It feels great!
38:27It feels great!
38:28It feels lit! It feels amazing!
38:31It's amazing. It's just so incredible.
38:35I think this is proof that you should pull through
38:37whenever you're stressed and never give up.
38:40It's quite true, in my opinion.
38:42Pretty smart kid right here.
38:44I'm going to cry!
38:45Let's cry!
38:47Good job, Vincent!
38:50You won!
38:52You guys, this is the part that I have been dreading.
38:55Brickmasters, please give me the names
38:57of the first team in the bottom two.
39:00I have to say, this was such a tough decision
39:03for Boone and I today.
39:05The first team in the bottom two is...
39:12AJ, Zach, and Ali.
39:16We did great. It's all great.
39:18It's all great, okay?
39:19And the second team in the bottom two is...
39:21Max, Zoe, and Portia.
39:26I'm okay. I'm okay with you.
39:30AJ, Zach, and Ali.
39:32We loved how you invited us into Andy's room.
39:36You really nailed that part of the world.
39:38But in the end, we weren't able to look past
39:42those pillars that you built for the function.
39:47Max, Zoe, and Portia,
39:49we loved the scale and ambition you had with your castle
39:52and that real wow function you had
