00:19If someone's rum punch drops on my t-shirt, I'm not really going to get vexed because I'm probably going to end up throwing it.
00:25Next tip I would say, buy your drink before you get in here.
00:30What I do, I get a backpack from Amazon, the running bags, like it's got a little straw.
00:35I pre-make rum punch, I put it in my bag and I will be carrying that and that will last me the whole day.
00:41Don't pee in a corner, someone will take, I don't know, but someone might take a phone.
00:45If you keep walking up Portobello Road, there is a sound system in like one of the corners, but they have paying toilets for like two, I think it's two pounds, two pounds.
00:54The toilet's clean all the time. If you don't want to smell like things that you just don't want to smell, those toilets are great for it.
01:01My next tip is always to carry cash. There's literally no service here.
01:06You'll get one minute of service to text your friend and it's gone after.
01:10Most likely if you want to get food and stuff, they will not accept it because their car machines are not working.
01:15So carry like at least 20, 30 pounds cash, bring a portable charger.
01:20If you're here the whole day and some people are here from 9am, your phone will die.
01:25Also, stay hydrated.
01:27Always bring a bottle of water.
01:29If you drink, you're going to be drinking the whole day.
01:32Your body's going to ask for water.
01:34There's different types of music in Carnival.
01:36In my opinion, I always recommend to go firstly through the floats, feel the vibe.
01:42If you do see any side row, go through it because you're going to find anything and everything.
01:47And that's one thing that I like.
01:48If you're into a bit of techno, there's some place in a corner that plays techno.
01:54There's some places that play soca.
01:56There's some places that play bashment.
01:58In here near Portobello, there's a place every year you walk past, there's people dancing salsa, which I love.
02:03And that's one thing that I love about Notting Hill Carnival.
02:06You just come here and you're literally feeling the vibe of what London is,
02:10which is many cultures and communities just coming together and it's really good.
