00:00Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
00:04Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, a king and queen ruled over a distant land.
00:13The queen was very kind and lovely, and all the people of the realm adored her.
00:18The only sadness in the queen's life was that she wished for a child, but did not have one.
00:30One winter's day, the queen was sitting near an ebony window and knitting woolen clothes.
00:36Suddenly, a beautiful snowbird sat on the window, startling the queen.
00:41The bird distracted the queen's attention, and she pricked her finger.
00:45A drop of blood fell down on the snow outside her window.
00:49As she looked at the blood fall on the snow outside her window, it turned into a baby-like face.
00:54She was surprised and said to God,
00:57Oh, Snow God, I wish that I had a daughter that had skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony.
01:08Soon after that, the queen became pregnant, but at the same time, she fell sick.
01:14Many doctors tried to cure her, but she did not recover.
01:18Oh, dear, don't worry. You will be all right soon.
01:22Please don't lose hope. Trust in God.
01:24Our dream of having a baby is about to be fulfilled.
01:29Yes, my dear. I'm hoping for the best.
01:33The snow god has blessed us. Nothing can go wrong.
01:37Soon the spring blossomed.
01:39The flowers bloomed everywhere as they were preparing for the baby coming.
01:44As the days were drawing near, the queen became more and more sick.
01:48It was a bright morning. The sun was shining like it had to melt the entire winter snow that day.
01:55The queen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who had skin white as snow, lips red as blood, and hair as black as ebony.
02:05My queen, you have given me the most precious gift ever.
02:09Dear, please tell me what you want. I will fulfill your every wish.
02:15Thank you, dear. But now I don't think I can spend time with my little baby.
02:21Oh, dear.
02:23You are as white as snow. I name you Snow White.
02:32Promise me, your majesty, you will always take care of my daughter.
02:37And promise me that you will get married again and never be sad in life without me.
02:42I will always take care of her. At any cost, my dear.
02:49Don't cry, my king. Goodbye, my love. Goodbye.
02:56Oh, my darling. Please, don't leave me alone.
03:00Oh, my darling.
03:07For a few years, the king was very sad about the queen's untimely death.
03:12He himself took care of Snow White, but most of the time the king was busy in the kingdom working.
03:19He realized that his daughter needed a loving mother for upbringing, so he decided to marry again.
03:26The new queen was very beautiful, but more than that, she was very arrogant and a cruel woman.
03:33She had studied dark magic, and with that she controlled the king.
03:37She also owned a magic mirror that predicts and tells the truth whenever and whatever she wants to know.
03:46My dear mirror. Oh, mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest of all?
03:52Oh, my queen. You are the fairest of all.
03:56Oh, really? Thank you so much. You are a genius.
04:01As the time passed by, Snow White became prettier, fairer than ever before.
04:08She became the most beautiful girl in all the kingdoms.
04:12The stepmother started to feel jealous about her beauty.
04:17Mirror. Oh, mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest in the world?
04:21You, my queen, are fair and beautiful, it is true.
04:25But Snow White is even fairer than you.
04:30Oh, how dare you talk like this? You're nonsense.
04:34Apologies. I am only made to speak the truth, my lady.
04:39The queen flew into a rage and called her huntsman.
04:43Take that Snow White into the woods and kill her, and bring me her heart as proof.
04:50Yes, my lady.
04:51The queen asked Snow White to go into the woods and bring back some magical flowers that will make her even more beautiful in the world.
05:00The poor huntsman took Snow White into the forest, but found himself unable to kill the girl.
05:07Oh, pretty princess. Your stepmother ordered me to kill you.
05:11But I can't kill a beautiful and kind soul like you.
05:15Run away as far as possible and never turn back to the castle again.
05:19Oh, kind man. My mother will punish you if you do not kill me.
05:25I will tackle her somehow. But now, you, go!
05:30Snow White ran as fast as she could. Huntsman hunts a wild war and presented its heart to the queen.
05:37Ha ha ha ha ha!
05:39Ha ha ha ha ha!
05:42No, I'm the fairest of all!
05:44Snow White was alone in the great dark forest, and she did not know what to do and where to go.
05:50The trees seemed to whisper to each other, scaring Snow White, who began to run.
05:55She ran over sharp stones and through thorns, and just as that evening was about to fall,
06:01some little birds gathered around her and started to pull her scarf.
06:05She realized that they wanted to show her something.
06:09She started to follow the birds.
06:11Suddenly, she saw a strange little house and went inside for shelter with the birds.
06:18Inside the house, everything was small but tidy.
06:22There was a little table with a tidy white tablecloth and seven little plates with food on it.
06:28Against the wall, there were seven little beds, all in a row and covered with quilts.
06:35Snow White was so hungry, she ate a few vegetables and a little bread from each little plate,
06:40and from each little cup she drank a little bit of milk.
06:44She was exhausted after wandering the forest, so she lay down in one of the little beds and fell fast asleep.
06:52After the dark, the owners of the house, the seven dwarfs, returned home.
06:56They mined for gold in the mountains.
06:59The birds tried to wake up Snow White, but she was in a deep sleep.
07:03As soon as they arrived home, they saw someone had been there.
07:07Who has been sitting in my chair?
07:10Who has been eating from my plate?
07:14Who has been eating my bread?
07:18Who has been eating my vegetables?
07:20Who has been using my fork?
07:23Who has been drinking from my cup?
07:28But the seventh one, looking at his bed, found a beautiful girl lying there asleep.
07:35Someone is sleeping in my bed.
07:38The seven dwarfs all came running up to the bed.
07:41Oh, good heaven!
07:44This girl is so beautiful!
07:46Shh! Let her sleep! Keep quiet!
07:52They all fell fast asleep, surrounding her bed.
07:55The next morning, Snow White woke up, and when she saw the seven dwarfs, she was frightened.
08:01The dwarfs woke up, hearing her shouting.
08:04Don't be scared! Don't be scared!
08:07We are the dwarfs!
08:08You are in our house!
08:10Um...
08:11What is your name?
08:15My name is Snow White.
08:17How did you find your way to our house?
08:20Snow White told them about her whole story.
08:23The dwarfs spoke with each other for a while, and then said,
08:27If you will look after our house for us,
08:30and cook,
08:32make beds,
08:33wash, sew, and knit,
08:36and keep everything clean and orderly,
08:38then you can stay with us.
08:40And you shall have everything that you want.
08:44Yes, with all my heart.
08:46So Snow White lived happily with the dwarfs.
08:49Every morning, dwarfs went into the mountains looking for gold,
08:52and in the evening when they came back home,
08:55Snow White had their meal ready and their house tidy.
08:58During the day, the girl was alone,
09:00except for the small birds and animals of the forest that she often played with.
09:05Mirror, mirror on the wall!
09:07Who in the world is fairest of all?
09:11You, my queen, are very fair, it is true,
09:15but Snow White beyond the mountains with the seven dwarfs
09:18is still a thousand times fairer than you.
09:21That white girl is still alive.
09:27The huntsman has fooled me.
09:29I'll teach him a lesson later,
09:31but for now I have to kill the Snow White.
09:34But how?
09:35How?
09:35Tell me how!
09:36She realized that she had broken the mirror in anger.
09:40The queen thought and thought and thought again.
09:43How could she get rid of Snow White?
09:44At last she thought of something.
09:46She went into her most secret room.
09:49No one else was allowed inside.
09:51There she made a poisonous apple.
09:54The apple had been made so artfully that though it was poisonous,
09:57it looked beautiful and fresh from the outside.
10:02Then with her magic she disguised herself as an old peddler woman.
10:06She traveled to the dwarfs' house beyond the mountains and knocked on the door.
10:10Snow White put her head out of the window.
10:12Who are you, old lady?
10:14What can I do for you?
10:15Open the door, beautiful girl.
10:18I am very poor.
10:21I want to give you some apples
10:22to beg for some bread for my dying husband.
10:26I must not let anyone in.
10:28The seven dwarfs have forbidden me to do so.
10:31That's all right with me.
10:32Here, I'll offer you one of these fresh and delicious apples
10:36in return of a piece of the bread loaf, dear.
10:39When Snow White saw the beautiful and shiny apples,
10:42she could not resist to have it.
10:44She went into the kitchen and brought a big loaf of bread
10:47freshly made for the seven dwarfs' meal.
10:49She gave it to the old lady
10:50and took the apples in return for the dwarfs' meal.
10:53She barely had a bite in her mouth
10:55when she fell on the ground, dead.
10:58The wicked queen transformed into her real self.
11:02White as snow, red as blood, black as ebony wood,
11:06the seven dwarfs shall never, ever awaken you.
11:09She immediately ran back to the palace
11:11and stood in front of a broken piece of mirror.
11:14Mirror, mirror on the wall.
11:16Who in this land is fairest of all?
11:19The mirror finally answered as she was wishing.
11:22You, my queen, you are the fairest of all.
11:27When the dwarfs came home in the evening,
11:29they found Snow White lying on the ground.
11:32She was not breathing at all.
11:33She was dead.
11:34They lifted her up and looked at her longingly.
11:37They talked to her, shook her, and wept over her.
11:41But nothing helped.
11:42The dear child was dead, and she remained dead.
11:46They laid her on a bed of straw,
11:48and all seven sat next to her and mourned for her
11:51and cried for three days.
11:52They were going to bury her
12:03But she still looked as fresh as a living person
12:06And still had her beautiful red cheeks
12:09We cannot bury her in the black earth
12:12She should remain white
12:14Spotless
12:15As she still is
12:16They made a transparent glass coffin
12:19So she could be seen from all sides
12:21They laid her inside and wrote with golden letters in the box
12:25Here lies the princess Snow White
12:28Then they put the coffin outside on the mountain snow
12:32The animals and the birds came to and mourned for Snow White
12:36At the same time, a prince entered into the same mountain area to hunt
12:41He saw the crowd of dwarfs and animals around the glass case
12:45The prince wondered what in the world would be in the case
12:48That attracted so many pretty animals
12:50The prince went near and read what was written on it with golden letters
12:55He thought this was the same girl whom he had always dreamed of
12:59Then he saw the dwarfs nearby
13:01Let me have the coffin
13:03I will give you anything to have this pretty girl
13:06We will not sell it for all the gold in the world
13:10Please give it to me
13:11I cannot live without being able to see her
13:14I will die if you won't allow me to take her
13:17Are you crazy?
13:18What will you do with this dead body?
13:20I will honor her
13:21And build a monument near my palace
13:24To rest her soul in peace
13:26The good dwarfs felt pity for him
13:28And accepted his demand
13:29The prince had his servants carry it away on their shoulders
13:32But then it happened
13:34That one of them stumbled while picking the coffin
13:37And this dislodged a piece of poisoned apple
13:39That she had bitten off
13:41The prince immediately ran and caught the coffin
13:44He put her under a tree and gazed at her
13:47She was still looking pretty
13:48As she was alive
13:50The prince kissed her on the forehead
13:52As soon as he kissed Snow White
13:56She opened her eyes
13:57Snow White sat up and was alive again
14:00Good heavens, where am I?
14:02You were with me
14:03I am a prince
14:05And the prince told her what had happened
14:07Oh my god
14:09You decided to keep me even if I was dead?
14:14But why?
14:15You are the only girl in my dreams
14:18I love you more than anything else in the world
14:20Come with me to my castle
14:22Will you marry me and be my queen?
14:25Yes, my charming prince
14:28But I want to see my father first
14:30I wish that he would bless our marriage
14:33But I heard that your father is lost somewhere
14:35And hasn't come back to the kingdom for a long time
14:39This must be a trick of my wicked stepmother
14:42Please do something so that we can find him
14:45Okay, let's go to the palace and search for him
14:49So the prince decided to search for her lost father
14:52He conquered her kingdom against the wicked queen
14:55In the castle, they discovered the queen's secret room
14:58And found Snow White's father in a secret prison
15:01And they released him
15:02On the other hand, when the queen saw the king released from prison
15:07In the terror of the king and others
15:09The queen ran out of the kingdom
15:11And never ever was seen ever again
15:13The king announced the marriage of her daughter in the palace court
15:17Snow White got married with a grand celebration and splendor
