The gates of the huge Derry's Field allotments site in Old Woking were opened to the public last weekend for charity. Visitors could snap up homegrown fruit and vegetables, nibble on delicious sausages and pick up plenty of gardening tips.

00:00Today is the open day for the allotment so we have we sell all the produce
00:04people donate and we've got honey and jams and a barbecue and it's basically so
00:10people can come down have the walk around enjoy the allotments because
00:13they're normally locked people can't get in and we raise money for charity down
00:17here today. We sold out of rhubarb so I had to go and pull some more from my allotment
00:23and then we've got fresh honey, local honey, I have bees down here. We all really
00:29enjoy getting involved and there's a little bit of rivalry between stools yeah
00:35competition with who takes the most whether the cake stands going to take
00:38more than the jam stand or the fresh veg stand or the burgers and porky sausages
00:45stand yeah or the tombola I'm I'm I'm looking around going have who have I
00:50forgotten. We're getting evils. Yeah we're getting evils you didn't mention Nick or the raffle.
