The private equity firm founded by Jared Kushner Affinity Partners has agreed to acquire an 8% stake in British lender OakNorth, according to Reuters. Sky News reported that Kushner’s Affinity Partners bought an OakNorth stake from an undisclosed seller. The investment company declined to immediately comment when contacted by Reuters. The lender reported pretax profit of nearly $291.5 million in 2024 and operates with more than $10.17 billion in assets, lending over $2.85 billion last year. The transaction’s value was not disclosed, though OakNorth was valued at about $2.8 billion in 2019.
