03:15Okay, so this is a bit of an anniversary for us because when I first started working for

03:24LA Unscripted, this was one of the first stories I did.

03:27I got a lip blush here.

03:28Now we're back almost four years later.

03:30All of my whole life, I've always had a lot of really blue in my lips.

03:34So I've always wanted to kind of cancel out some of that blue and I'm no young spring chicken these

03:40days and I feel like my lips are, thank you, but I feel like my lips have faded over the years too

03:44and I don't have that natural color anymore.

03:46Okay, so when we get older, we're losing a lot of the color on the vermilion border.

03:50It is time for my Dana Dare lip tattoo.

03:56How do you feel?

03:57That's not bad.

04:01Wow, I have an upper lip now.

04:03Oh, we're going to do, first of all, it was your first dare, am I right?

04:08Yes, yes, it was my first Dana Dare.

04:13And we know that you have a little blue tone on your lips.

04:17So what I'm going to do, I'm going to neutralize the blue.

04:20And we're going to give you this beautiful pink that you love.

04:43What is it about the lip blush that's so popular right now?

04:45It's beautiful, come on, to have a little bit color on the lips.

05:19the lip blush has to be no above of the lip,

05:23the vermilion border and not below the vermilion border.

05:29So how often do people get touch-ups?

05:32It depends.

05:33Some people that continue doing a lot of fade out,

05:36they're going to come at least once a year.

05:37Okay.

05:38And I have people that run with this for five, six years.

05:42Yeah, mine was four.

05:45Okay, we're done.

05:46Oh my God, I love it.

05:49It's going to be 60% lighter, but I absolutely love the tone.

06:09And today we are glow getters,

06:11trying all the things at Ruth Swiss's new Calabasas Med Spa.

06:15One thing to know before you book with Ruth, you're going to get the truth.

06:19And the epidermist expert reminds, if you want to revel in your reflection,

06:23you have to stick your neck out first.

06:28The neck is so important.

06:30And you can see a young, beautiful face, but the neck is actually showing the age.

06:36So we have something that is called Secret RS.

06:43This is a radio frequency combined with microneedling device.

06:47Little needles are going to be penetrating the skin,

06:49and it's going to deliver a heat energy inside of the skin.

06:52When you have trauma to the skin, your body likes to reheal the skin.

06:56We're going to get collagen and elastin that will come back,

06:58and we'll tighten up the skin to give you a more youthful,

07:02regenerative skin process at the same time.

07:06The derma blade laser will resurface the skin for fine line,

07:12for any, you know, kind of like blemishes and stuff.

07:15So we're going to be taking kind of the top layers of the skin off of the face.

07:21If you look in real close, you can see little white marks on the skin.

07:25They look like little grid patterns.

07:26That's how we can tell where the laser is fired.

07:28And these are all the areas now that we're going to have collagen that's going to be stimulated,

07:32collagen and elastin to help regenerate the skin.

07:35People will see a better complexion.

07:37People will see smaller pores.

07:38You can see all of this in one treatment.
