PM Modi pushes for a self-reliant India, praises indigenous defence weapons

During his Independence Day speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that India is steadily progressing towards self-reliance. Citing the recent Operation Sindoor, he lauded the use of indigenously made weapons, stating, “Our atmanirbharta was on full display during Operation Sindoor.”
