00:34Jurassic Park Survival is a first-person game.
00:37It's set a day after the events of the film.
00:40You play as Maya Joshi, who is an engine scientist,
00:43and it's your job to survive the island.
00:46For the first time, we're giving you this opportunity
00:49to travel back to Isla Nublar, to explore Jurassic Park.
00:53Taking on a project like this is a huge responsibility.
00:56This film stands out as a landmark moment in cinema.
01:00It's really exciting to be able to translate
01:03this incredible film into a video game
01:06because you really have the opportunity to go much deeper into the film.
01:10We worked really closely with our partners
01:13and with Amblin and our filmmakers
01:15to make sure that we're capturing the island
01:18and all the dinosaurs in really great detail.
01:21We go through room by room in the game, level by level.
01:25We look at every possible resource from archives, from the film,
01:28from protection stills, production blueprints
01:30to make sure every prop is in the same place.
01:32We really took an up-close look at some of the props from the film.
01:35We went to the actual incubator and saw the eggs.
01:38Just that level of authenticity was just amazing,
01:42and it really brought the teams together.
01:44We thought Saber would be the right developer for this project again
01:53because of their affinity for the IP.
01:55It really leaned into creating fantastic-looking,
01:59beautifully rendered dinosaur models and animations
02:03that will look great in the game.
02:04We were inspired by the original film.
02:06All the encounters are going to be amazing.
02:08The interactions with the dinosaurs,
02:10to see them on the big screen, and it's something else
02:12when you can actually take part
02:13and interact with them in a meaningful way.
02:16One thing that is extremely important to get right
02:19is the dinosaurs.
02:20They are the star of this franchise.
02:22The textures, the movements, the weight of the dinosaurs on the earth,
02:26that will all feel like the dinosaurs that you know and love
02:29from the first film.
02:31I think that's what players really want.
02:33They want to be put in the driver's seat of a dinosaur encounter
02:38and have to survive it.
02:40Can't wait and come face-to-face with the T-Rex.
02:43I'm going to purposely lose so that I can get eaten by T-Rex.
02:54Not only do you get to re-experience all the incredible locations from the film,
02:57but because Jurassic Park Survival is designed in game format,
03:01it gives you more time to be able to explore new locations.
03:04There's lots of facilities.
03:05There's lots of buildings.
03:06There's lots of attractions that are under construction.
03:07There's a hotel under construction.
03:09So fans are going to see things and landmarks
03:11that they only wish they saw.
03:12Some elements from the game,
03:13some elements from the film that were talked about
03:14but never actually conceived in the film.
03:16So as a single-player narrative-driven experience,
03:20Jurassic Park needs both strong story and strong gameplay.
03:24There's an interactive component that makes games unique from film.
03:29It's going to feel like new but familiar at the same time
03:32and then you'll be part of that tension and part of that drama
03:34and part of that awe-wonder that Jurassic really is for fans,
03:37but you'll be front and center for everything.
03:38When we were deciding how to introduce the raptors,
03:43one thing that jumped out to us was,
03:45what if we could make the player experience what Lex and Tim did in the kitchen?
03:51That and other sequences like it are meant to put you in the shoes
03:55of those movie characters to experience the terror for yourself.
04:05So every one of the characters in that film is indelible
04:08and this is the bar that we're shooting for.
04:10These characters need to be as specific, distinct, colorful
04:15as the characters in the film.
04:17And Maya is the biggest example of this.
04:19The actual journey, the arc of Maya, it's just, it's incredible.
04:24She was personally recruited by Dr. Henry Wu
04:27to become an in-gen scientist who worked at the park.
04:30The start of Maya's journey, she's unable to escape Isla Nublar.
04:35Can anyone hear me? This is Dr. Maya Joshi.
04:38I've been left behind on Isla Nublar.
04:40As soon as Payal read for the part, we knew she was going to be our Maya.
04:45I really relate to Maya in lots of different ways.
04:49She's incredibly passionate and adventurous.
04:52I think she takes risks.
04:54She steps outside of her comfort zone.
04:56I feel like I'm learning a lot about myself, to be honest.
04:59She's very inspiring and she has a lot of admirable traits.
05:03I think that I'm standing on the shoulders of some of the coolest female characters in cinema history.
05:08It's incredible.
05:10I really hope that when fans play this game, they get to relive the magic they experience from the original film.
05:16All of us on the team are extremely passionate about this film.
05:19We all have our own childhood memories of it.
05:21And so we've come to it with the greatest respect.
05:24It is everything, so we are taking the time to do it justice.
05:27Fans are core to this franchise.
05:29It's because of their passion that we get these great opportunities to create new stories.
05:33Without them, there wouldn't be a Jurassic Park survival.
05:45As I said, I've seen some of the応est developers set myself in a closed exchange room and need to advertise them.
05:57I don't know who looks.
06:06I don't think we are able to miss the Cowden weiterhin new today .
06:09I think we have this fun show.
