00:00These are the visuals from the cloudburst that struck the Padar region of Kishtuar district

00:15in Jammu and Kashmir. The officials are saying that at least 10 people are fear dead in this

00:21catastrophe. This cloudburst occurred along the route of the Machhel Mata Yatra. It's a

00:29pilgrimage area in the area. Several news reports are also saying that the incident occurred

00:35in the Chositi locality and it immediately called for action from the authorities which

00:43was duly attended to in time. Union ministers too have responded to the situation. Minister Jitendra

00:52Singh has confirmed that he spoke to the deputy commissioner of Kishtuar and took

00:59stock of the situation.

01:00The cloudburst is of a massive scale which could possibly lead to a substantial casualty

01:06which has not yet been worked out. Immediately we got in touch with the district administration

01:10and the district administration was also at a loss because it had taken everybody by surprise.

01:20far as the topography and the geographical situation and geographical location is concerned.

02:04what happened in Uttarkashi a few days ago and the casualties are feared. Ten are dead as of now

02:13as the reports mentioned. And the administration is making arrangements for heli rescue as well for

02:20medical treatment. This is something that is a matter of great importance. Makes a lot of difference if

02:28aerial support is being provided. Helicopter rescue is something that we have seen in the past as well in

02:34such dire situations with rains and monsoon lashing almost all the parts of the country as of now be it

02:44north, central India or south. This particular scare of landslides and cloudbursts becomes all the more
