00:03:40world champions we have two of the best power of the farm fighters on the planet
00:03:45these type of vets come along once probably every 50 years or so
00:03:52one two one two three two one
00:03:56it really is the hottest ticket in town because they've been involved in big fights before
00:04:02i'm feeling very excited i'm very sorry i'm sorry listen listen everyone's banging on about
00:04:09mma uf6 this fight will get boxing back where it needs to be yeah so we might be doing thank you
00:04:16very much this is a legacy night a career defining night for both of these brilliant fighters
00:04:23yeah okay thank you mate yeah speak to you soon
00:04:33look let me tell you that boxing is very neanderthal
00:04:39here we go
00:04:40interesting to see who's going to hold the center of the ring
00:04:45it's two men putting on gloves
00:04:48a pair of shorts a pair of boxing boots and a gum shield and they're there to take each other's
00:04:54head off
00:04:55it's the easiest sport to understand by an absolute mind
00:05:04anyone who looks at a fight you know if they're walking home and they see one on the street
00:05:10they understand what's happening there
00:05:12but fury already starting to flow a little bit more
00:05:15not a team sport but because there are no teams nobody to pass the ball to there's no jerseys
00:05:21to wear you have a warrior that represents who you are and where you're from
00:05:25losing letting his hands go
00:05:27fury trying to look like muhammad ali there in the corner
00:05:31great fighters are discoveries they're voyagers they're guys to go out there and they find out
00:05:37how far can i go
00:05:39it's not just your physical shape but it's a combination of your physical capability and
00:05:45mental strength they call it the sweet science for a reason
00:05:48it's two fighters undefeated in their prime
00:05:52everything is on the line here
00:05:54conquer or be conquered that was in us from the beginning of time
00:05:59this is the biggest fight of this century the most significant fight of this century
00:06:04fury's the jolly giant so far
00:06:07this erases all questions about who the best heavyweight in the world
00:06:11usik hasn't cracked a smile in weeks
00:06:13he means business
00:06:14after this fight we'll be able to say we've got one world heavyweight champion
00:06:18and his name is
00:06:20just relentless
00:06:22relentless pressure on the fuck
00:06:24but fury looking more than once to throw that right hand to the body
00:06:28he's done it again there
00:06:29pretty even fight after the first two rounds
00:06:34another day in paradise
00:07:04started off a bit wet
00:07:06but it er
00:07:07became a nice day
00:07:09when we got into it
00:07:11you're not beating that here look at that
00:07:14you've got zero pollution here
00:07:16fresh air come on off that sea
00:07:18on the whole i've been here nearly 18 years so probably the only place in the country where i can sort of be left alone to do what i've got to do
00:07:28if i go anywhere else in the world
00:07:30like elvis has landed
00:07:32here in the summertime now on bank holidays and weekends they come here actually come to morecambe now looking for me so they come on holiday here thinking well i might see tyson i might go and have a look at him see his house
00:07:43because i've made it
00:07:44because i've made it a tourist destination morecambe bay which is crazy really
00:07:48because ten years ago
00:07:50because ten years ago it was voted as the worst place in britain to live last year it was in the top three
00:07:55made it famous
00:07:57now there's tyson fury
00:08:02then there's the gypsy king
00:08:04that's the one we know
00:08:06that's the public persona
00:08:07of tyson the extrovert
00:08:09the showman
00:08:09these cells are fighting like no other fighter i've ever known
00:08:14i mean since muhammad ali
00:08:15you're fighting the best british heavyweight
00:08:17there's ever been
00:08:18the fucking dauntless in these waters
00:08:20this is a man every time he opens his mouth
00:08:23you know this headline
00:08:246.75 in the corner
00:08:27mr burns
00:08:29that's the gypsy king for you right there
00:08:31i think he might be a different man
00:08:32you know when he's at home sat down with his family
00:08:35as soon as he steps out the door
00:08:36he becomes this guy who's thinking i'm selling myself
00:08:39you will love me or hate me you'll come and watch me
00:08:47so a lovely little day of filming in the bay today
00:08:50i've got the guys here the a-team camera in
00:08:53now tyson fury the man there is a different side to him because you can't
00:08:56be switched on all the time there has to be a release and for most people that is at home
00:09:01that is your family the real tyson fury and this is not a joke is the one who goes home after a
00:09:07fight who has to do the school run who has to go running with the dog and pick up the muck
00:09:13the real tyson fury goes into his local cafe
00:09:16on a monday and he's getting his usual
00:09:18and the people are looking at him and this one woman said you are tyson fury and he says
00:09:35yeah i am and she can't get it in her head that the man she's just seen on television the man
00:09:42that's in the papers the man that's been on the radio winning a world title or defending a world title
00:09:47is sitting next to her for breakfast that's tyson fury oh yeah
00:09:53what a day to be alive this is a very historic day this when the romans invaded britain and we all
00:10:01know who's tyson fury let's talk about alexander usik
00:10:11who made his career starting from 15 or 16 he became the european amateur champion then the world
00:10:19amateur champion olympic amateur champion world champion in cruiserweight unified world champion
00:10:26in cruiserweight undisputed cruiserweight champion unified heavyweight champion and now he's one step
00:10:34away from being the undisputed in heavyweight
00:10:39something you cannot find really often
00:10:41the challenges that music poses to tyson is basically his boxing skill
00:10:53music is a phenomenal boxing brain he is so skillful what he does in the ring everything has a purpose
00:11:03alexander usik has the capability of making people dance to his merry tune he is right on you at all
00:11:09times he just moves around you in this tight semi-circle he'll slip to the side of you he'll
00:11:14disappear behind you but he's almost always close enough to you to hit you nothing is just um just
00:11:20doing it for the sake of doing it he is setting you up like a chess move and all of a sudden you're done
00:11:26so many fighters have thought well do you know what i'm gonna do i'll stick it on him i'm bigger than
00:11:31this guy nobody's cracked the code yet you watch his fights and incrementally round by round
00:11:37he just turns up the heat to the point where his opponent is struggling to live with it and to
00:11:42the point where they're almost ready to go intelligence wise he must be the smartest fight
00:11:48fighting now
00:11:51brain is just weakness leaving your body oh oh oh
00:11:59to be a boxer you have to be a little bit unhinged that's just the truth of it and the higher you get up
00:12:04the mad that it is so you have to be a little bit crazy yourself and who's as crazy as the next man
00:12:17so i've been around usig for a long time he's a wonderful kind of person with a great sense of
00:12:37humor just nice to be around you speak to people being a training council and he works hard he trains
00:12:45his head and his sparse head but he's forever joking
00:12:53he's a man who likes the pattern likes it so i think he'd be a good night dog i think the world
00:12:58of boosted he's a man who's comfortable in his own skin
00:13:02it doesn't have to be a villain or the hero he just is himself
00:13:05i prepare for this fight for 22 years this big opportunity for me my team my
00:13:35family listen four children four belts
00:13:40i think this is one of the keys for him that he wanted to make sure that Tyson
00:14:05fury would have to work every minute of every round
00:14:10well he did say in his broken english
00:14:13fury i won't leave you alone and this is what he means i assume
00:14:17walking around walking and done
00:14:21the right hand from fury there on the top of the head
00:14:24left him again still deciding to go backwards though is fury
00:14:34that's good work there from Tyson Fury yeah really good work with that lead hand lovely jab
00:14:39and this fight still feels like it's 50 50. it does
00:14:53round four
00:14:53and this contest
00:14:59but fury getting more comfortable as you said there and he's starting to
00:15:02flow a little bit more he's starting to put a bit more weight
00:15:06a bit more meat in that right hand of his working it well to the body
00:15:09good shot there from fury again
00:15:15oh there's a left and that got usik off balance i don't know if he slipped
00:15:19fury had a chance maybe to step on the gas there but again he elects
00:15:23to fight going backwards here's the right uppercut from fury yeah he's really in his group now
00:15:29and now he's having a good passage here fury
00:15:42who's making him work there's a lot of pressure
00:15:59so i'm in boxing since 2005
00:16:04and i was witnessing sometimes the big fights
00:16:08were so long expected and at the final stage for some reason they were extended
00:16:15rescheduled or whatever so this is a big fight and it's been already rescheduled for several times
00:16:24and we've been waiting such a long time for this it's the first undisputed fight
00:16:28since 1999. it's not about usik and fury it's about the undisputed and that means
00:16:34one singular person holding all four belts wbc ivf wbo wba they're your four main belts you can have
00:16:42a world champion in each of those every single other division we know who number one is we've had
00:16:48undisputed in all the division what about you the heavyweight boys what we want as boxing is one man
00:16:53to hold them all together like this and go i am the man that's the guy it's been 25 years since we
00:16:59had one guy in the past you used to know he's heavyweight champion ali who's there if you're in a
00:17:04barber's chair if you're in a bar if you're on a bus if you're on a plane if you're on a train you all
00:17:10know there's one man who's the greatest fighter in the world the heavyweight champion of the world this
00:17:17tells us who the man is both guys have basically had their semi-finals usik had his semi-final against
00:17:23aj beat him twice tyson fury had his semi-finals against deontay wilder beat him three times it's
00:17:30done now it's you two you two monsters the winner of this no doubt about it you have to put amongst
00:17:37the greatest heavyweights we've ever seen thomas and mac in a place called paradise everyone says
00:17:46it was in las vegas it wasn't it was in paradise las vegas in november and there was a real edge
00:17:52in the air all week so you got the sense it was going to be something special they contested every
00:17:58inch of that canvas for every second of that fight it's a slugfest for 12 rounds and then it's
00:18:04wins but he doesn't win by a landslide he wins lennox was in the last great era of heavyweight boxing
00:18:12till now he might be the greatest heavyweight of all time he only lost a couple of fights and he
00:18:18avenged those losses the more you look back on his career the more you love him he beat evander holyfield
00:18:24to be that man he was in 1999 the last undisputed heavyweight champion of the world
00:18:31you know when i was growing up there was like different world champions different heavyweights
00:18:37and i said well you know there has to be one heavyweight champion i have to bring all the belts
00:18:43together the world will know that there's only one heavyweight champion in history and that's me
00:18:49and that's what lennox lewis managed to pull off that night that was the last time a man left the ring
00:18:54with all the available belts 25 years since that's been done well the person who stands behind this
00:19:03is his excellency turkey he was the one to implement the idea when his excellency wants to make something
00:19:11happen he makes something happen best one fighting the best guess what he came in and said all right now
00:19:16the best are going to fight the best that's what boxing need people who want to make sure
00:19:23that bears win for real and i know he's a busy man so we got him on your phone
00:19:29a gold-plated phone they are making fans dreams come true no you know since october we've had 20 or 30
00:19:39of the world's top 30 or 40 boxers in the ring on these ridiculous nights the vision is a game changer
00:19:49so i believe we are in now the newest golden age of boxing it's unprecedented it is we can use that
00:19:55word because i think people need to know that this is a special moment in boxing and enjoy it fingers
00:20:01crossed it lasts forever but if it doesn't even if it is just a two-year jackpot enjoy that jackpot
00:20:07because this is sensational and now the fans are going to be happier sports going to be healthier
00:20:14and then what's it all going to climax with because you're going to have one heavyweight champ now
00:20:19you're going to have one heavyweight champ round five in round five you're watching alexander
00:20:29versus tyson fury for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world the best of the best of
00:20:36the best total punches through round four fury has outlanded music by five but has thrown
00:20:42about 50 more punches two lovely body shots there from fury yeah there's a nice stab in right hand as
00:20:48well he's looking for the upper guy again there's a right from fury right down the pipe
00:20:54good body shot again there from fury and he backed off from that one and a rare for a forward for tyson oh
00:21:06good work to the buddy she leaves it back then he's back then a different way that i've seen it before will the better
00:21:13big man beat the better little man
00:21:15big man beat the better little man beat the better little man beat the better little man beat the better
00:21:20again music making it work really hard if you need to do something
00:21:23so much success
00:21:29i've always felt like fury has got the skill to make his size count
00:21:47so how does tyson fury beat on alexander usick by being bigger than him by wearing him down
00:21:55by breaking him down he's a genius at that tyson telling him he's going to go out and knock a man
00:22:02out in one round and then dancing and moving beautifully for 12 rounds that's been his best
00:22:07punch i see that tyson brings his best attributes which is his reach his lane fury has always been able
00:22:14to deliver when people doubt them
00:22:28tyson fury always rises to the occasion
00:22:35fury's on form the very best fury should beat the very best usick the most dominant round so far no
00:22:43question
00:22:47is this the same man who had a fight against francis in ghana
00:22:50we had a chat and we said look it's just not good enough what's happening you need to change
00:23:09a game
00:23:20if you don't want it anymore look in the mirror and be honest with yourself it's you what's got to look in the
00:23:25mirror in the morning and you know what he's done come back i can beat all of these he said i can beat all of them
00:23:32i've been training with sugar for about six weeks but me me and my dad were training with isaac as
00:23:41well for about four or five weeks before that and then my dad had put us through the millstone and
00:23:45grind us into the floor nearly
00:23:46to be honest with you guys look sharp you've got the eye of the tiger back the old tyson
00:23:55on that form tyson's stoppage around about seven this camp has been a very very good camp tyson's very
00:24:02happy and he's in a good place so i believe he'll do his job and he'll do it good fashion
00:24:10one minute everything was rosy he was and i mean he was sharp very very sharp next thing bang
00:24:18i remember i was in a hotel in vegas and um i just seen that the zone put up my interview of
00:24:43tyson fury and i was all excited and then one comment said that's a bit silly of you putting
00:24:48this up i'm like why weird things happen in boxing and sometimes you get a call you get a text message
00:24:56and you just have this impending sense of doom it was just it's the kind of news you just don't
00:25:03want to hear something's gone wrong with ring of fire
00:25:07i know i started to get messages from several people saying tyson through his cut and it's a bad
00:25:14one and there was absolutely no way the fight could go ahead you know it teases you boxing it brings
00:25:21you in you think everything is wonderful and sunshine and rainbows and then the clouds come
00:25:27some of the conspiracy theories that were floating around some of the most ridiculous thing that was said
00:25:32by grown men the cut's not real he's faked it social media was ablaze with all sorts of theories
00:25:38about how fury's camp has been terrible he'd been getting knocked out by practically anyone who just
00:25:43walked in off the street because he was so scared of alexander russi he told his foreign partner to hit
00:25:49him i'm like people that's stupid the tyson fury's conned us all he's not ready for the fight so he's got
00:25:56a surgeon in to cut his eye with a little blade and chopped it people said that i mean it went beyond
00:26:06the bounds with deep theories theorems even formulae they broadcast it they wrote it that is just
00:26:15absolute madness they genuinely thought this is deep state things happen what more can you do it's an
00:26:31accident people have them every day but it changes people's lives turkey our shake had put a a post out
00:26:38saying the whole fight was off the whole card was off so you know it's it's very early days i've not seen
00:26:45anything since then sort of thing there's a very downbeat in the camp at the moment everybody's
00:26:49no one's died so no one's died no you're right a lot worse than a cut on your face can it absolutely
00:26:55it's sport right right how are you feeling tyson obviously i've lost a lot of money i've lost a big
00:27:01fight but it is what it is there's not much i can do about it is there look what people want to believe
00:27:05they got to believe you can't convince people if they don't want to believe it can you yeah that's
00:27:09some people believe they never landed on the moon some people do it's entirely up to anyone's
00:27:13opinion there but have a look there you go fresh stitches they look real does it look fake
00:27:27all right so it's friday february 2nd it's around 2 p.m eastern time or so maybe a little bit before
00:27:33here in new york and i remember seeing on twitter that tyson fury has suffered a cut and that the
00:27:39february 17th fight against alexander usick in riad is off fast forward to the next day now we're at
00:27:45february 3rd one of my favorite things to do on saturdays is attend my son's soccer games i'm not one
00:27:51of these crazy dads but i'm locked in on the game just so happened that i looked at my phone and all
00:27:57of a sudden i'm getting a call from his excellency turkey now all of a sudden like the heart is beating
00:28:01you're sweating a little bit you know he gets right to business and asks me if we're doing a show today
00:28:07so i say no but uh what's up he says could you do a show today i said uh yeah i'm in i get my son
00:28:18we get in the car much to his chagrin i tell him we don't have time to stop for the post-game meal
00:28:22which we usually do we usually get a egg and cheese bagel he's never late get home run upstairs put on
00:28:32a patented plaid shirt i sit down open my computer fire on my one led light and now we're testing so
00:28:39it's like me and the two producers we're testing does this work does this look good is everything
00:28:43okay yes everything's okay and so i say are you guys ready to go again not really knowing what's going
00:28:47on and we go live the microsoft tower is back in your life on this saturday february 3rd 2024 yes a
00:29:00special breaking news edition of the program let's go to mr turkey i'll share this fight i want i want
00:29:07it to happen 18 of may we will have tyson ozik ozik tyson never call me a coward again i've had 35
00:29:16professional fights i've been boxing 18 years of my life and i'm no it happens i've boxed all my
00:29:23life it happens it happens you call me a coward you've never boxed in your life how am i a coward
00:29:30i've had 35 professional fights i'm a two-time undefeated heavyweight champion i'm the second
00:29:35longest reigning lineal champion in history how am i a coward let's see the answer let's see the coward
00:29:41no no no let's see the answer and the 18 of me and then i remember when the thing ended i've never
00:29:46smoked before i don't smoke a cigarette i felt like i needed a cigarette if you get what i'm saying
00:29:49like i i felt like an 8 000 pound gorilla had just been taken off my shoulders and then we get the
00:29:55new date and uh it all worked out perfectly round seven
00:30:05fury had that cut not too long ago over his right eye which postponed the original meeting there's a
00:30:11lap from fury on him again and again keep in mind when anthony joshua rocked usik usik turned the
00:30:18tables and dominated the rest of the way in let's see if music can shift the momentum here in the seven
00:30:24it's a new experience for him but now he's got his hands going he's doing real damage with that right
00:30:31hand fury whether it be to the body or the upper cut a big gas for oxygen there for usik off the ropes
00:30:39that's a good shot that's a good shot the left hook upstairs as well that's a good straight left
00:30:51chris mannix how do you have it four rounds to two 58 56 in favor of tyson
00:30:57joshua rocked usik
00:31:13it's more of those a lot more
00:31:19but if fury comes back
00:31:20it's just a bit of confidence that he needed there to all of those
00:31:26it was a bit of success to get that confidence
00:31:28to push forward
00:31:30strong finish to the round there for the ukrainian
00:31:32it's just because i believe jesus jesus give me power give me a message alex just do
00:32:02that's what we got up okay wait up
00:32:16clubbing shots from fury they were blocked by usik but he's still saw it
00:32:20moved his 233 pound frame
00:32:23we've worked there for all of that
00:32:24he needs a burst of confidence a surge of energy and he having the flower of this fight is there's
00:32:38another change in direction
00:32:41music was asked if theory was simply just too big for him
00:32:44and music said no being big doesn't mean anything for it to be the elephant that would be the king
00:32:52of fury
00:33:07good round for usik big response exactly what usik needed
00:33:13but isn't this what we wanted eight rounds completed and you still don't know where this is going
00:33:22these shows are the best organized shows that i've ever been to anywhere in the world
00:33:28but it can still get a bit rowdy things can go not wrong but they can take a turn
00:33:42it was press day 20 boxers six different interview areas over five hours
00:33:53olexander who's 16 were there and at the same time there was tyson fury's game
00:33:59now these were two big groups 20 30 in each group lots of testosterone flying around
00:34:05and they just got closer and closer and closer
00:34:23and there was a real edge in the air
00:34:25and a gypsy johnny fury he got into altercation with a member of team or sick
00:34:40it falls off the edge of a cliff
00:34:53the incident it wasn't a great incident but it was a flashpoint and that can happen
00:35:08i think it was a bit rough and tumble wasn't it i mean there was a lot of testosterone in the room
00:35:22a lot and um it is what it is isn't it you're dealing with people like me i'm from the 80s
00:35:28you know i'm not from this time you know and at the end of the day somebody's in your face you've
00:35:33got either front it i look like an idiot haven't you you know and at the end of the day they started
00:35:37it so you know listen it's all good tv isn't it john fury sparks a lot of debate of course and a
00:35:48colorful character in his own right but what john fury does he takes the pressure off tyson at the time
00:35:53it's 24 7 with tyson fury especially built for a fight with media attention non-stop so sometimes
00:36:01john will do some stuff you know which is not always great but then all the media attention is
00:36:05on him for a while that and that sometimes gives tyson fury just a little bit of a gap
00:36:08a little bit of a pause just a little escape it might only be for a day
00:36:14they know what they're doing i don't think anything is by accident for the future i think
00:36:19everything's engineered and john's a big part of you know what makes that that fueling machine tick
00:36:23and work so he plays his party plays it well i'm not a big fan of it at times and i'm sure people
00:36:32will love it or hate it but he's not doing it for himself he's doing it for his kids now what wouldn't
00:36:37you do for your kids there's nothing you wouldn't do for them so john i think john plays his part because
00:36:42he realises that the noise he makes gives a bit of quiet for his son you couldn't write it you couldn't buy it
00:37:00when you watch alexander usick talk about his father this is also an emotional guy he's taking
00:37:14a lot into this fight with him because obviously his father has passed away and he never got to say
00:37:19goodbye to his father some of the most emotional stuff that you'll see because i think he could have
00:37:24gone home to see him but he didn't and he just missed that moment he talks about how he
00:37:30sees him before fights you know visually he sees him he comes to visit him and some of the most
00:37:35emotional stuff that you'll see my father was like old school hard people no emotion no say son i love
00:37:48you no say never i don't know why i all time say my children i love you you you're very beautiful you
00:37:58how beautiful i say every time my son hey son you strong you can i think it's uh give power
00:38:10my father say to my uncle i love my son not me my uncle why i don't know it's
00:38:21i don't know i know what my father love me but not told me my father very proud for me that my father
00:38:37the sky say hey listen it's my son it's my son i think
00:38:51i've been working with tyson about 10 years ultimately the sort of gypsy king character
00:39:09came to life through the garments
00:39:10ladies and gentlemen welcome to the final press conference for the ring of fire
00:39:22some cases the suits are some kind of mental warfare
00:39:26it very much embodies the gypsy king persona i think it takes the limelight away from the other
00:39:38opponent and this is the undisputed clash this is the ring of fire suit and fury is going to be on fire
00:39:44two undefeated champions will walk to the ring to fight for the most prestigious title in
00:39:53all of sports for over a century
00:39:58nice and nice little baby
00:40:01first class until i come on fire no pun intended this will be for the undisputed heavyweight championship
00:40:14you know what i will say is i've never gone into a big fight where i have no idea who wins
00:40:22i ain't got a clue but undisputed heavyweight championship of the world that should be
00:40:25this should be that should be and by the way the last undisputed heavyweight championship of the world
00:40:29was the former cruise weight undisputed champion you're looking hench
00:40:34electricity in the air and now you feel the presence of uh tyson here and it makes it really electric
00:40:43the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world occurs so infrequently it's almost like
00:40:51a blue moon coming this is the biggest boxing event of the 21st century we're going to get
00:40:57something extra special let's meet the stars of the show at this time
00:41:03i'm ready i've got nothing to say apart from i'm ready for a good fight and if it's tough or easy
00:41:13either way i'll be ready let's bring in olexander rusik the unified world heavyweight champion
00:41:20olexander i've heard you say with olexander rusik it seems he has an impenetrable skin it seems
00:41:35that tyson fury can't get under his skin i saw you drawing something while everyone up here was talking
00:41:40you had your pen you had your paper you drew something and put it in your pocket what was it
00:41:46yeah it's my homework it's pollen could you show it to us no now no later if i was you i wouldn't
00:41:59worry about poets and things like that i'd worry about your man on saturday night
00:42:04because tyson fury is coming to take all them belts away from you all right he's going to take all
00:42:11them belts away and our english boys here have come all the way home from england all the way home from
00:42:18england to see him take those belts we've seen tyson fury getting into his opponent's heads with usik it
00:42:30doesn't work tyson fury brilliant at playing mind games can he get in alexander usik's head
00:42:39probably not he has this unbreakable will
00:42:45how can you have mental warfare of someone that his country is going through its biggest war in the
00:42:49history of the country how can you have mental warfare of someone who wants to be on the front line
00:42:56to defend his country this guy is seeing people die in front of like him in a boxing ring is easy
00:43:05this is easy for him and that's a scary fool
00:43:09that's a scary fool
00:43:15february 24th
00:43:194 30 in the morning i woke up like i had a bad dream
00:43:29it was complete silence i i heard kind of noise very similar to the explosion
00:43:36i was like hmm sounds strange then i hear my phone ringing i feel like oops looks like it was not a
00:43:47dream so i pick up my phone i see my brother is calling me and before picking up i hear the explosive
00:43:55again wow goes up so yes it has begun take your family and bring to my home please traffic jam
00:44:08was out of ukraine to the west and only one car was moving to the east
00:44:15the east it was usik traveling from poland at that time usik was not the unified world champion in heavyweights
00:44:26boxing he was just a normal citizen of ukraine a man who was defending his country his house his family
00:44:37that's what he did
00:44:41and once he visited the hospital
00:44:44or the guys who had no arm no leg they were saying like who said no
00:44:49thanks for coming but we don't want to see you in the battlefield we want to
00:44:53watch you on the tv where you represent ukraine where we hear the ukrainian anthem
00:45:00and where you bringing the victory for ukraine and that's what really convinced him to take the decision
00:45:07and to take the fight
00:45:12There was a fight today, I wanted to win, but I didn't win again.
00:45:26Why did you ask me again?
00:45:29Because it was already there.
00:45:32And in that time I didn't win, and in that time I didn't win.
00:45:37I wanted to win.
00:46:07What is the depth of man?
00:46:11Can somebody whose country is losing everything, that there are people that are literally losing their homes, have lost their homes, have lost their families, their lives.
00:46:22Usyk looks so much smaller in there.
00:46:24Can they rebuild?
00:46:26Can they still be strong?
00:46:28Let's say you come to Ukraine, you come up to an old lady and ask, do you know Alexander Usyk?
00:46:35Yes, I know him.
00:46:37He is the example for the generations.
00:46:41Oh, Usyk, pitch perfect!
00:46:45He is the subject of pride for normal Ukrainians.
00:46:51Alexander Usyk is showing that we're unstoppable.
00:46:54We're showing we're indestructible.
00:46:56We're showing that we're fighting bad.
00:46:59And we will never give up.
00:47:01Oh, left!
00:47:02Usyk!
00:47:04He might wear rights under there for Fury.
00:47:06Yes, yes, yes!
00:47:09If this fighter can truly be the face and the beacon of hope for other people to be strong...
00:47:17Oh, a right hand from Usyk!
00:47:19And now Fury doesn't look so fresh anymore!
00:47:23Can he help rebuild what has been lost?
00:47:28Not in concrete, not in steel, but just spiritually.
00:47:36Can he restore that?
00:47:37Even if it's for one night.
00:47:39Even if it's for one freaking night.
00:47:49Fury's in trouble!
00:47:51The big fan!
00:47:52The Gypsy King!
00:47:53It's Ronald!
00:47:54He's stumbling!
00:47:55The world is!
00:47:56To the floor!
00:47:58Yeah!
00:47:59Yeah!
00:48:00Yeah!
00:48:01Yeah!
00:48:02Yeah!
00:48:03Yeah!
00:48:04Yeah!
00:48:05Yeah!
00:48:06Yeah!
00:48:07Yeah!
00:48:08Yeah!
00:48:09Yeah!
00:48:10Yeah!
00:48:11Yeah!
00:48:12Yeah!
00:48:13He's in strong!
00:48:14He'sandenар doesn't get there's a pain.
00:48:15Can he make people feel...
00:48:17...like...
00:48:18...they're alive again?
00:48:19And they got everything in front of them again?
00:48:21Can he do that for one night?
00:48:23Can he do that for one night?
00:48:25Do you believe it?
00:48:29He's going to 0-3!
00:48:31Stop it!
00:48:33There he is!
00:48:35He's gone!
00:48:37He'll call the knockdown!
00:48:41But he is saving his career!
00:48:43He doesn't look right!
00:48:47Will he be saved by the bell?
00:48:51Also, you have the part of it that people almost forget about.
00:48:54Can a man who wanted to give up the greatest gift in the world,
00:48:59the gift that God gives us of life,
00:49:02can a man who's willing to throw that away,
00:49:05to give it up, to commit suicide,
00:49:07and that man be in fury,
00:49:10can he come all the way back?
00:49:13You know, I've known Tyson for a long time.
00:49:16To say you're suicidal must be an awful place to be.
00:49:19And I can speak because my young brother Mark committed suicide.
00:49:24And you think to yourself, you're in so much pain,
00:49:27the only way you can stop that mental anguish, that pain,
00:49:30is to end your life.
00:49:31Can you imagine being like that?
00:49:32And that's where Tyson was at.
00:49:34I can wake up in the morning, everything's fine.
00:49:37The afternoon I could commit suicide.
00:49:40And it's the same with everything I do.
00:49:42People always said,
00:49:44the only people to beat Tyson is yourself.
00:49:47Nobody knows more than me about that job.
00:49:50I think we went for a four or five mile walk one day.
00:49:54And, you know, you started pouring all out of him
00:49:56on one thing and another.
00:49:57You know what problems he had.
00:49:59I get terrible talking about it.
00:50:07Boxing turned him around.
00:50:10Boxing has been his salvation.
00:50:11In some ways he's been boxing salvation.
00:50:13I think he's a champion for mental illness.
00:50:16And for the heavyweight champion of the world to come out and say,
00:50:20you know, don't give up on yourself.
00:50:21I've done this.
00:50:22You can do this.
00:50:23You can do this.
00:50:26Round 5.
00:50:27Harry's never been beaten and battered like that.
00:50:29But he always gets up like the Undertaker.
00:50:33You've got to give his powers of recovery so much credit,
00:50:35so much respect.
00:50:39He's so patient.
00:50:42He won't waste anything.
00:50:43Oh, he's up inside here.
00:50:44Good job.
00:50:45Oh, Bryce.
00:50:46And from Fury.
00:50:47Like a brick.
00:50:48You give Fury an inch.
00:50:49He'll take a yard.
00:50:50He's not been in the right.
00:50:51He's about to ride the storm.
00:50:52That's for sure.
00:50:53Please, he passed his face.
00:50:54That shot.
00:50:55Good right hand from Fury.
00:50:56Before this fight, it was deemed to be 50-50.
00:50:58And right now here, Round 11, it's still 50-50.
00:51:14But what else can you say about Fury's heart
00:51:17to come back from that epic beat-down?
00:51:21Oh, yeah.
00:51:22to come back from that epic beatdown.
00:51:25Oh, yeah, the end of our boots, we've seen that in the fall.
00:51:27Oh, he's lost.
00:51:30Oh, he left.
00:51:32This fight has looked up to expectations.
00:51:52And now, as the old saying goes,
00:51:59it all comes down to this.
00:52:01With literally everything on the line,
00:52:05the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world,
00:52:08Hank in the balance.
00:52:09You can't overstate how important this fight is now.
00:52:14Everything is about time, now.
00:52:16Might not have been as important 10 years ago,
00:52:18now it's very important.
00:52:20Again, left-hand scores for Usyk.
00:52:23And now Fury showing some life off the ropes.
00:52:27This fight has been worthy of the occasion,
00:52:30a fight we thought we would never see.
00:52:32And yet, here it is in all its glory.
00:52:34People want one heavyweight champion of the world,
00:52:38and then people will feel everything's good.
00:52:40We got one heavyweight champion of the world, not 22.
00:52:43There's that time to get for Usyk.
00:52:45There's one way to make sure you win it.
00:52:47Knock the other guy out.
00:52:49And everything's good again.
00:52:53Everything's right again.
00:52:55It makes everybody feel better.
00:52:56This is a good round, fellas, losing so fast.
00:52:58Good work to them, my fury.
00:52:59Again, these eye-catching punches could be absolutely crucial.
00:53:03And there's another one of them.
00:53:06And it'll make boxing feel better.
00:53:08And it'll be so important.
00:53:09And it'll be so important.
00:53:14Whatever happens here,
00:53:15they've earned each other's respect, that's for sure.
00:53:17One of the best heavyweight fights you'll see,
00:53:24and one of the biggest heavyweight fights you'll see.
00:53:28And I'll leave you with this.
00:53:31Ten seconds left.
00:53:33Who will make history?
00:53:38Furious.
00:53:39Usyk gave us a show for the ages.
00:53:43What a fight, sir.
00:53:45What a fight.
00:53:46Everyone on their feet.
00:53:49Unreal.
00:53:49Unreal.
00:53:50And I'll leave you with this.
00:53:58Ladies and gentlemen,
00:54:00here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,
00:54:02we go to the scorecards.
00:54:05People say, but Teddy, how could Usyk win?
00:54:07Fury's long, he's tall, he's agile,
00:54:09he could go get you,
00:54:10he's fundamentally solid.
00:54:12Manuel Oliver Palermo scores the contest
00:54:15115-112 for Usyk.
00:54:20Well, one thing about Usyk,
00:54:23he's good and solid in every area,
00:54:25fundamentally, mentally, everything.
00:54:28Metcon scores it.
00:54:30114-113 for Fury.
00:54:35There's one thing he does damn good
00:54:37that will be the most important asset
00:54:41to be caught on when they fight.
00:54:45And he's done it since the Olympics,
00:54:48when he won a gold medal,
00:54:49to Cruiserweight,
00:54:50when he unified all the titles,
00:54:53and then he went up,
00:54:54nobody expected him to do it,
00:54:56and he won the heavyweight title.
00:54:57Fitzgerald has it.
00:55:00114-113 for the winner
00:55:03by split decision.
00:55:06He does one thing
00:55:07that'll let him do all that.
00:55:09You know what it was?
00:55:10And you know what it is?
00:55:11From Ukraine,
00:55:14Paul Alexander
00:55:15will see.
00:55:21He wins.
00:55:23He knows how to win.
00:55:25He knows how to win.
00:55:30Now,
00:55:31the undisputed
00:55:33W-8 champion of the world!
00:55:37A lot of people in this world
00:56:04are obsessed with success
00:56:06and fame and fortune.
00:56:09But I made a very valid point recently.
00:56:13We're not here for a very long time.
00:56:14Although it might seem like a long time,
00:56:17it's a very short moment in time.
00:56:19And if you can get confused
00:56:20with all that rubbish of success,
00:56:22whatever success is,
00:56:23a lot of people think success
00:56:24is wanting more, more, more, more, more,
00:56:26and just achieving, achieving, achieving.
00:56:27But when you take it all down to brass tacks,
00:56:31life's very fragile and very precious.
00:56:33And it's for spending time with loved ones.
00:56:36For me, I'm just a dad at home.
00:56:37You know, I go into my front room
00:56:38and I must have 25 boxing belts
00:56:41from the beginning to the end of them all.
00:56:43And I never look at them.
00:56:45I never pick them up and go,
00:56:46oh, my God, I'm a world champion.
00:56:48It's like they don't even exist.
00:56:50I heard a quote a few years ago
00:56:53and I wrote it down.
00:56:55It said, no point in looking back.
00:56:57We're not going that way.
00:57:00And I wrote it down in my phone
00:57:01and I've still got it
00:57:02and I look at it quite often.
00:57:04I'm not a celebrity.
00:57:08I'm not a famous boxer.
00:57:09I'm not a multimillionaire.
00:57:11I'm nothing.
00:57:11I'm just a dad.
00:57:12How did you become a boxer?
00:57:16I don't know.
00:57:17What matters is the little moments in time
00:57:20we have like now
00:57:21and enjoying the moments
00:57:23because tomorrow ain't promised to nobody.
00:57:34Hope is important.
00:57:48He's taking a torch to a dark place
00:57:49and showing us there's a possibility
00:57:51we could be better.
00:57:52Like, what am I?
00:57:54I don't know who I am until
00:57:55I get in the ring
00:57:55and I find out who I am.
00:57:57You can actually open up a door
00:57:59to a room that you didn't even know
00:58:00was there before.
00:58:02Nine months.
00:58:04I work.
00:58:05I missed
00:58:05Happy New Year.
00:58:10I missed Thursday, my son.

00:58:28My focus was only this fight.
00:58:34I missed my father.
00:58:43I missed my father.
00:58:45I, I say my father,
00:58:48hey, listen,
00:58:48you live that, I live here.
00:58:54Please.
00:59:00I love you.
00:59:02I love you.
00:59:03Because nobody wants to go in and face things that are damaging, face things that are challenging
00:59:19and those scary in those areas.
00:59:21You can't be brave if you're not afraid.
00:59:24There's nothing to overcome.
00:59:26Those feelings come to us because we are human.
00:59:30I had to get back home.
00:59:33I had to show the world that nothing is impossible.
00:59:37For all the people who suffer with mental health problems, I did it for you.
00:59:42If I can come back where I came from, you can too.
00:59:47So get back up and let's do this together as a team.
