00:00:00Hey, what's going on, everybody?
00:00:06You know what it is?
00:00:07It's showtime right now.
00:00:10Eight days ago, I called five of my friends up,
00:00:13and here we are doing the real full Monty.
00:00:16Look at that.
00:00:17That house is packed.
00:00:19It's full of people.
00:00:20You want to know why it's full of people?
00:00:22Because they want to see me out and five of my friends
00:00:25good naked and show them what it's all about.
00:00:27And that's what we're about to do.
00:00:29I can't find my thong, I can't find my thong.
00:00:30You can't find your thong?
00:00:31Oh, that's right.
00:00:32It's okay, we don't need thongs,
00:00:33because this is the real full Monty.
00:00:38In 1997, this low-budget British film swooped in
00:00:42and stole hearts all around the globe.
00:00:44You know the one I'm talking about.
00:00:46We made up the young, we made up the pretty,
00:00:47but for one night only, we're going for the full Monty.
00:00:51The Oscar-winning comedy featuring unemployed steelworkers
00:00:54forming a male striptease act.
00:00:56Yeah, you heard me right.
00:00:58This lot go all the way.
00:00:59Full Monty, you lot.
00:01:01Pulled in a whopping $250 million.
00:01:04It's not bad this tripping life, is it?
00:01:06The movie's message of vulnerability
00:01:07helped inspire television specials
00:01:09raising awareness for cancer.
00:01:11Full Monty.
00:01:13Male celebrities bearing it all,
00:01:16motivating millions of men to push past their embarrassment
00:01:19and get checked for prostate cancer.
00:01:23Not only was it a massive hit,
00:01:25but it potentially saved hundreds of lives in the process.
00:01:30So I thought, why not do the same?
00:01:32I just wrapped filming a movie in South Africa,
00:01:37and now it's time to focus on this performance
00:01:40that's near and dear to my heart.
00:01:42I lost a very dear friend a few weeks ago to cancer,
00:01:44and I lost my biological father and three of his siblings
00:01:48to cancer all within a year and a half of one another.
00:01:51So I wanted to help bring awareness to men
00:01:55because we don't go to the doctor.
00:01:58There we go.
00:02:01Hey, Chi-Chi.
00:02:02Yo, what's good, man?
00:02:04Lookie here, lookie, lookie here.
00:02:06What's going on, Tay?
00:02:07Time to serve.
00:02:08How you feeling?
00:02:09I'm doing all right, man.
00:02:12Hey.
00:02:15Am I disturbing something right now, brother?
00:02:22Thanks for picking up the call.
00:02:24So I'm just going to cut to the chase, Tay.
00:02:28I'm putting together a show to bring awareness to cancer.
00:02:33Yeah, I have a strange request.
00:02:36It's called The Real Fool, Monty,
00:02:38because I'm going to need my celebrity friends
00:02:40butt naked on stage with me.
00:02:43What, you being serious?
00:02:44I'm sorry, what was the last part you said about butt what?
00:02:48It's called The Real Fool, Monty,
00:02:50and it's called that for a reason.
00:02:51How is me being naked on stage going like...
00:02:54Well, first off, Marlon,
00:02:57it's not the first time that you would be naked on stage.
00:03:01That's true.
00:03:02You know I love you.
00:03:03Yes.
00:03:04And I'm naked from the waist down right now.
00:03:06Oh.
00:03:07Um, but I don't think I want to do that
00:03:09in front of a television audience.
00:03:11Can you stand up right now?
00:03:14I mean, I could.
00:03:15I'm going to go before I get both of us
00:03:17and more camera.
00:03:18All right, hey, man, I love you, brother,
00:03:20and I'll see you soon.
00:03:21All right, yeah, be good.
00:03:22All right, baby, peace.
00:03:25Well, can't count on your friends for everything.
00:03:29All right, who else should I call?
00:03:32As men, I think we have an issue with embarrassment,
00:03:36and I don't know why we would be embarrassed,
00:03:39but would you be embarrassed for the 15 or 20 minutes
00:03:43that you're going through this checkup
00:03:46or have that dreadful conversation with your doctor
00:03:50when it's too late?
00:03:51Ooh, I'm sorry.
00:03:53You got it.
00:03:55Tracking down celebs for this gig
00:03:56is turning out to be tougher than I thought.
00:03:59Clock's ticking, too.
00:04:00I booked one of the best venues in L.A.,
00:04:02but the catch is that I only have nine days
00:04:05to pull this off.
00:04:06Hopefully, I'll have more luck finding a choreographer.
00:04:09Mandy Moore, how are you?
00:04:11My first call is to the best in the business.
00:04:14I'm wonderful.
00:04:15I can't believe your name came up on my phone.
00:04:16Yeah, what?
00:04:17Mandy snagged multiple Emmys
00:04:19for her work on Dancing with the Stars.
00:04:21She orchestrated Ryan Gosling
00:04:23and Emma Stone's Magic and La La Land,
00:04:25Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence's Dance
00:04:27and Silver Linings Playbook,
00:04:29and just rocked Taylor Swift's Heirah's tour.
00:04:31If she can't get us in sync, nobody can.
00:04:34I'm going to cut to the chase, Mandy.
00:04:36I'm calling you because I've decided
00:04:39to do something called The Real Full Monty,
00:04:42and it's to bring awareness to cancer.
00:04:46Will you be a part of this
00:04:47and help choreograph the show
00:04:49and choreograph our dance routine?
00:04:51I hope you can say yes to that.
00:04:53I don't have a ton of experience
00:04:55to choreograph and strengthen,
00:04:56but do it.
00:04:57And it's for a great cause.
00:04:59I mean, to raise awareness for cancer,
00:05:02literally, you say no more.
00:05:03I am in.
00:05:04We work.
00:05:05We're going to get you rascals going,
00:05:07and we're going to get you blood bacon.
00:05:08I could be skipping through the rest of this day.
00:05:13What an amazing call.
00:05:14I appreciate you helping us out.
00:05:16Bye-bye.
00:05:17Bye.
00:05:24First day of rehearsal,
00:05:26and I'm headed to the studio.
00:05:29Six days to pull this off,
00:05:31and I'm a little nervous
00:05:33because
00:05:33I haven't filled all the spots yet.
00:05:39I wonder who's going to show up.
00:05:41All right.
00:05:49Welcome to the studio.
00:05:51It's good to see you again, my friend.
00:05:52Good to see you.
00:05:53Good to see you.
00:05:54So this is it, hon.
00:05:55This is where rehearsal is, right?
00:05:56This is where all the magic's going to happen.
00:05:58Oh, okay.
00:05:59I have never done anything like this
00:06:02ever in my entire career thus far.
00:06:05I guess I'm going to be able to check the box
00:06:06of, like, going the full Monty,
00:06:08teaching these dudes how to do it.
00:06:10Six chairs.
00:06:11Six of us, huh?
00:06:12Yeah, well, we'll see.
00:06:13I've created this routine of, like,
00:06:15not knowing who is in this at all.
00:06:17But I'm thinking, like, six or seven guys,
00:06:19whoever ends up doing this.
00:06:20These people are super brave
00:06:22to even, like, step foot into the studio
00:06:24and say yes to this project.
00:06:25I cannot wait to see who these people are.
00:06:27How are you feeling?
00:06:28I'm a little nervous.
00:06:30Okay.
00:06:30But I'm excited.
00:06:31Okay.
00:06:32I'm excited about it all.
00:06:33Nobody confirmed with me.
00:06:34Everybody's like,
00:06:35I'd love to help you out, Anthony.
00:06:37No, I'll get back to you.
00:06:38Nobody got back to me.
00:06:39I'm very excited to understand
00:06:41who you have gathered in this situation
00:06:43because you were a little nervous
00:06:45when you FaceTimed me last time.
00:06:46You were like, I don't know who's going to.
00:06:47Still a little nervous.
00:06:48Don't know who's going to show up,
00:06:49who's going to pull out,
00:06:50who's going to back out.
00:06:51It's okay.
00:06:52Yeah.
00:06:54Oh!
00:06:57He came through!
00:07:08Oh!
00:07:11He came through!
00:07:13Ladies and gentlemen,
00:07:15Tay Diggs himself!
00:07:17Tay?
00:07:18Where are you coming?
00:07:19I am here to do my part.
00:07:23You know, when it comes to cancer,
00:07:24I lost my stepfather
00:07:25and my mother as well.
00:07:29You know, it may be embarrassing,
00:07:31but I'm very much looking forward to it.
00:07:33It's good to see you.
00:07:33Thank you for including me.
00:07:35I'm still concerned about the nudity thing,
00:07:38but we'll work through it.
00:07:38Don't worry about it.
00:07:39Don't worry about it.
00:07:40Don't worry about it.
00:07:41We were just talking about that.
00:07:42Yeah.
00:07:43Did you start getting nervous?
00:07:44Yeah, just now.
00:07:45Yeah, that's okay.
00:07:47I got some yeses.
00:07:49I just don't know if they'll show up.
00:07:51I can't stand here.
00:07:52I don't want it to be stationary.
00:07:54Oh, my God.
00:07:56Legends.
00:07:56I don't know.
00:07:57Perfect.
00:07:57How are you, brother?
00:07:58What's up?
00:07:59Bruno Anthony, man.
00:08:00Thank you, brother.
00:08:00I feel like this is like a Marvel film,
00:08:02and we've, like, assembled all the superheroes.
00:08:04Oh, I'm going for it.
00:08:05Oh, yeah.
00:08:07Well, that might be the first move.
00:08:10You never know.
00:08:11I like that.
00:08:12It's something very important,
00:08:13and hopefully people will enjoy it,
00:08:15and get, like, motivated to get yourself checked
00:08:20is not a big deal because it can save people's lives,
00:08:24so it really is a very important thing to do.
00:08:26My dream for you guys is that you just feel incredible that night,
00:08:29like, Tay, you are looking really nervous right now.
00:08:33People are going to be watching this.
00:08:36Yes.
00:08:36Many people.
00:08:37A thousand people in attendance in the theater, at least.
00:08:41Believe me, we're going to have a lot of uncomfortable moments
00:08:43where you're going to be like,
00:08:43oh, God, what am I doing?
00:08:45You know, we're going to be fighting a little demons
00:08:46here and there, I think.
00:08:48Oh, look who is here!
00:08:51What's going on, bro?
00:08:52How you doing, baby?
00:08:53What's happening with your man?
00:08:55When I heard about the real Full Monty
00:08:57to raise awareness for early cancer detection,
00:08:59my heart knew that I had to do it.
00:09:01I told my son about it, who's 11.
00:09:03He said, what?
00:09:04You're going to get naked?
00:09:05Dude, that's weird.
00:09:07I was like, well, yeah, and I explained it all.
00:09:09He's like, all right, I just don't want to watch it.
00:09:13I said, okay.
00:09:14And Bruno.
00:09:15James, my darling.
00:09:17Surprise after surprise.
00:09:19I'm a little worried that Bruno's going to be uncomfortable
00:09:22dancing scantily clad in front of people.
00:09:24I know, he never does.
00:09:25Man, this is a good group.
00:09:27All here for the right reasons,
00:09:28all doing something that we really feel is important and fun
00:09:33and can make a positive impact in people's lives.
00:09:35And so, I'm psyched to be part of it.
00:09:38This is going to be where we're going to be for the next,
00:09:40you know, four days.
00:09:41Okay.
00:09:41And we are going to be learning, you know, a routine.
00:09:44Yeah.
00:09:45That is going to involve taking off bits of our clothes
00:09:49for a really great cause.
00:09:51And by the end, just like the film,
00:09:53we are going to go full Monty,
00:09:56turn around, and show everyone how amazing we are.
00:09:59You know, anytime you start something like this,
00:10:09there's a little bit of nerves involved.
00:10:11There's so many different personalities.
00:10:13You don't know how you're all going to mix,
00:10:17but there's still some people to add to the mix.
00:10:20So, I'm excited to have everybody finally come together
00:10:23and be a part of this.
00:10:25I know the camaraderie you guys are going to experience together
00:10:28going through this.
00:10:29When you're spending this amount of time
00:10:31doing something that's a little scary,
00:10:32and we're all coming for the same base idea.
00:10:36You know, while I haven't been affected directly
00:10:39by testicular cancer and prostate cancer,
00:10:41I did lose my mom last year to stomach cancer.
00:10:44Oh, wow.
00:10:45And so, thank you.
00:10:47Yeah, it's like a random, terrible club
00:10:49you don't want to be a part of, right?
00:10:51Well, unfortunately, I think we all have for some reason.
00:10:54And I mean, for me particularly,
00:10:55I had to do it because of Len.
00:10:57Len, you know, my co-judge for many, many years,
00:11:01and we lost him last year.
00:11:04And this I dedicate it to him.
00:11:10Len and I worked together for almost 20 years.
00:11:14He's like the two musketeers.
00:11:16Len had an instinct to work the moment,
00:11:19and I knew that whatever I did,
00:11:21Len would have my back.
00:11:23And he knew the same.
00:11:25He did have a prostate operation in 2009.
00:11:28And he kept going on to me, like,
00:11:30have you checked your pipes, man?
00:11:33Unfortunately, we lost him last year
00:11:37because then it was another story,
00:11:39bone cancer, which is tragic.
00:11:41Len never made it public
00:11:43because when you do Dancing with the Stars,
00:11:45it's inspiring, it's fun, it's joyous,
00:11:48and he didn't want to be identified by the disease.
00:11:52And when you lose somebody that's been so close
00:11:55for such a long time, I was a mess.
00:11:57As prepared as you think you are,
00:12:02those things really, you know, destroy you
00:12:05because I always thought,
00:12:07Len's going to beat it.
00:12:08It happened before.
00:12:09It's going to beat this.
00:12:10Unfortunately, he passed away.
00:12:17And then because of him, actually,
00:12:19I went and had the thing,
00:12:21which is, like, it's no big deal.
00:12:23The embarrassment is not worth your life.
00:12:25Right.
00:12:25Yeah.
00:12:27It's very important for everyone
00:12:29to go and get screened.
00:12:30You know, it's not a big deal.
00:12:33Not a big deal.
00:12:35Check your pipes for your life.
00:12:37And we're going to have a good time as well.
00:12:38Yeah.
00:12:38You know, we're just going to enjoy it.
00:12:40You know, you have to enjoy it like an adventure, you know?
00:12:42We're just going to have fun.
00:12:43Yeah.
00:12:44We're talking about cancer
00:12:46and how it has affected us.
00:12:47Everybody has their own relationship to it.
00:12:49Everybody has their own stories around it.
00:12:52I'm hoping to eventually share my story.
00:12:54It's a big bomb to drop in the middle of a room.
00:12:58And I'm not one who likes to drop bombs.
00:13:01So.
00:13:02The time has come for us to start.
00:13:05Okay.
00:13:06So I have asked a couple of my friends
00:13:07to come in and basically show you guys
00:13:10a version of the routine.
00:13:12Let's go.
00:13:13You guys over here.
00:13:14I need you cats over here.
00:13:18This is the observation deck.
00:13:20Observation deck.
00:13:21Observation deck.
00:13:23I can't wait to see the old dance routine.
00:13:25I'm here to be molded.
00:13:27What I've done is I basically created
00:13:29the number on these guys.
00:13:31Yeah.
00:13:31And again, as you can see,
00:13:32there are four of you cats.
00:13:34There are six.
00:13:35Hopefully they all come back tomorrow.
00:13:36We'll see.
00:13:37Okay.
00:13:37Now, as I get to know you better,
00:13:39we'll be adding bits and bobs.
00:13:41But this is, let's just call it,
00:13:42the foundation.
00:13:43B1.
00:13:44Okay.
00:13:45Gentlemen, are you ready?
00:13:47All right.
00:13:47Here we go.
00:13:48And.
00:13:50All right.
00:13:50Glass is coming off.
00:13:54Oh.
00:13:55Hey!
00:13:55Hey!
00:13:59Colts, unbuttoned.
00:14:02Once the dance member started,
00:14:04I got a little bit scared again.
00:14:06I just haven't done any of this stuff
00:14:07in so long.
00:14:08I haven't learned a combination.
00:14:10I haven't been on stage in a while.
00:14:13We still have our pants on here, right?
00:14:15Yep, you got your pants on.
00:14:17Okay.
00:14:19Shirts open!
00:14:22And then, of course,
00:14:23I get naked all the time,
00:14:24but not in front of people.
00:14:27Not this kind of thing.
00:14:28And pants!
00:14:33Oh!
00:14:34Oh!
00:14:36Tay's already quit.
00:14:44Okay, good.
00:14:47I am shrunk.
00:14:48I got to do that?
00:14:50Like that?
00:14:52You see all the elements, right?
00:14:54The most vulnerable you start to be
00:14:55is when the pants come off.
00:14:57So I want to add a moment
00:14:58when you guys are going to turn around
00:15:00and you're going to walk back
00:15:01and I wanted to do a little,
00:15:03I guess what I'd call,
00:15:04clinch.
00:15:05Oh, my God.
00:15:06Sometimes clinching
00:15:07accentuates stuff
00:15:09that you don't necessarily want to.
00:15:11Now I realize
00:15:12at some point
00:15:14I'm going to be dangling around.
00:15:16I'm uncomfortable.
00:15:19Oh, boy.
00:15:20So far,
00:15:30I've got three of my buddies signed up,
00:15:32but now that we've seen
00:15:32a sneak peek at Mandy's grand plan,
00:15:35we've got to learn these moves pronto
00:15:36if we're going to make this miracle happen.
00:15:38It's day one, okay?
00:15:39Day one, day one.
00:15:40So what I'd love to do
00:15:41is I'm going to walk four steps into it.
00:15:42Are you already sweating?
00:15:43Yep.
00:15:43Okay, me too.
00:15:44I'm sweating.
00:15:45Here we go.
00:15:46Seven, eight, you go.
00:15:47One, two, three,
00:15:49and you go.
00:15:50Touch, out, left, and right.
00:15:52I got all of your space.
00:15:53My bad, Jay.
00:15:54One more time.
00:15:55Ready, and...
00:15:55One of my legs shorter than the other one,
00:15:57so he pulls me over that way.
00:15:58My newest recruit
00:15:59would never have a problem with short legs.
00:16:01Oh, come on with the couch.
00:16:03Oh!
00:16:05It's Mr. Superman himself,
00:16:07six foot ten inches tall,
00:16:09of Dwight Howard.
00:16:10What up, baby?
00:16:11What's going on?
00:16:12Just in time, big dog.
00:16:13Just in time.
00:16:14I am Mandy.
00:16:16Come on, come on.
00:16:18I was literally,
00:16:19just about three minutes ago,
00:16:20looking around going,
00:16:21I'm the tallest guy here.
00:16:24Until Dwight showed up.
00:16:25When Anthony gave me the call,
00:16:27I was just like,
00:16:28man, for real?
00:16:29Like, you want me to come
00:16:30all the way out to L.A. right now?
00:16:32So I'm excited.
00:16:34This is great, let's go.
00:16:35A little nervous.
00:16:36You got to be really confident
00:16:38in who you are.
00:16:39And you got to be able
00:16:40to just risk it all.
00:16:43And that's what we're doing.
00:16:44But we're doing it
00:16:45for a great cause.
00:16:46I'm ready to get to it.
00:16:47Oh, what?
00:16:48All of us have dealt
00:16:50with trauma because of cancer.
00:16:52My mother's father
00:16:53passed away
00:16:54at a very young age.
00:16:57I know that it's very much
00:16:58affected my mom's life.
00:17:00And then we can put smiles
00:17:01on people's faces
00:17:02and let them know
00:17:03that we can all battle
00:17:04and get through this together.
00:17:05Okay, guys.
00:17:06Can I get you in a line?
00:17:08Five, six, seven, eight.
00:17:09I'm going to count you
00:17:09and we're going to start
00:17:10walking with our right leg.
00:17:11Five, six, seven, walk.
00:17:14Day one is always
00:17:15a bit of a mishmash
00:17:16of energy and craziness
00:17:17because everyone's nervous.
00:17:18Why are you counting
00:17:19in your head, Tay?
00:17:19I'm trying to remember.
00:17:21Let's try it again.
00:17:23You know, because these guys
00:17:24don't necessarily know
00:17:25how to dance.
00:17:26One, two, three.
00:17:28The first thing I need to do
00:17:29is teach them counts.
00:17:30That is going to help them
00:17:31keep the beat of the music
00:17:32and it's going to help them
00:17:33with breaking down the routine
00:17:34into smaller, more manageable parts.
00:17:37Okay, so we get here
00:17:38on what count, Dwight?
00:17:39Eight.
00:17:40No.
00:17:41What count do we get here, Anthony?
00:17:42Huh?
00:17:42Uh, four.
00:17:44Nope.
00:17:44What count do we get here?
00:17:45It's three.
00:17:45Bruno, it's three.
00:17:46Me being a dancer,
00:17:48if you leave me on my own,
00:17:49I could do the whole thing
00:17:50by myself,
00:17:50but that is not the case.
00:17:52One, two, three,
00:17:53hold four, five, six,
00:17:54seven, eight.
00:17:55Seven, eight.
00:17:56Seven, eight.
00:17:57Seven, eight.
00:17:58It's a group, it's a team,
00:18:00so we have to help each other.
00:18:02Five, six, seven, eight.
00:18:04Okay, got it.
00:18:05Okay, good.
00:18:06Seven, eight, yeah.
00:18:07You're right.
00:18:08Bruno is easy.
00:18:09He's out there
00:18:10just more of a group.
00:18:11He's no for choreographing
00:18:13and all that stuff,
00:18:15so, you know,
00:18:15I want to make sure
00:18:16I do my best.
00:18:18You go one, two, three.
00:18:21You just got lost
00:18:22in your count, right?
00:18:23You were like,
00:18:23I'm feeling it,
00:18:24I don't know where I am,
00:18:25what's happening.
00:18:25It was quick.
00:18:26You gave it to us quick.
00:18:27I know.
00:18:27Well, this is what
00:18:28this is going to be.
00:18:29On purpose?
00:18:29Yeah.
00:18:30Okay.
00:18:30Okay, next.
00:18:31All right.
00:18:32No, no, no,
00:18:32wait a minute.
00:18:33Come on, go.
00:18:34This next.
00:18:35Funny that you said that.
00:18:36Everybody sit here.
00:18:37Here we go.
00:18:37All right.
00:18:38Oh, God.
00:18:38All right.
00:18:39You know,
00:18:39I realize learning this dance
00:18:41is going to be a lot
00:18:42for these guys.
00:18:42I have to get them
00:18:43out of their heads
00:18:44and get them over
00:18:45the embarrassment
00:18:45of dancing in front of people.
00:18:47Part of it is actually,
00:18:48like, the,
00:18:49how do you take this stuff off
00:18:50and not freak out
00:18:51in front of everybody,
00:18:52so.
00:18:53I need to see
00:18:53what moves I'm working with,
00:18:55and then from there,
00:18:55I can build their confidence.
00:18:57I know that they can do it,
00:18:58but we got some work to do.
00:19:00We're going to come up
00:19:01one at a time,
00:19:02and this is your moment
00:19:03to kind of show me
00:19:04some of your best moves.
00:19:06Oh, boy.
00:19:06Because I want you to,
00:19:07that's okay, Tay.
00:19:08We're going to do it.
00:19:09Anthony, would you mind
00:19:10going first, please?
00:19:10I would.
00:19:11Come on.
00:19:13Come on.
00:19:14Here we go.
00:19:15Never mind,
00:19:15I just got to tell you,
00:19:16these are 53-year-old hips.
00:19:17Now.
00:19:18They don't bend
00:19:18like they used to anymore.
00:19:20Well, these days.
00:19:20There's no need to do anything
00:19:21that you don't feel comfortable with.
00:19:23Well, I don't feel comfortable
00:19:24doing anything up right here, Mandy.
00:19:25Well, we got to start here.
00:19:28Okay.
00:19:29Well, it's not where you start,
00:19:30it's where you finish.
00:19:30Oh, I love you for this.
00:19:31So what are we going to do?
00:19:32Here we go.
00:19:33Ready?
00:19:33I'm turning on the music,
00:19:34and the floor is yours, my friend.
00:19:37Here we go.
00:19:41Where are you at, Anthony?
00:19:43Come on.
00:19:44Guys, feel free to clap him on
00:19:46if you like.
00:19:49Oh.
00:19:50Hey.
00:19:51Get it, get it, get it.
00:19:53What's your fault, Anthony?
00:19:54Come on.
00:19:55Get it, get it, get it.
00:19:56Get it, get it.
00:19:57Hey!
00:19:57Get it, get it, get it.
00:19:59Ah, ah, get it, get it, get it.
00:20:00Ah, ah, get it, get it, get it.
00:20:03Anthony.
00:20:03Anthony.
00:20:04Anthony.
00:20:04Anthony.
00:20:05Anthony.
00:20:05Oh.
00:20:06Love it.
00:20:07You know, we all have our individual style.
00:20:09We all have rhythm.
00:20:10I love it.
00:20:12Some differently than others.
00:20:14Oh!
00:20:14Oh!
00:20:15Open faces.
00:20:16Open faces.
00:20:17Oh!
00:20:17Oh!
00:20:18What?
00:20:18Not it!
00:20:19I just tried to remember as much of the lyrics as I could.
00:20:22And then when I got out there, I just tried to act the lyrics out.
00:20:25Ah!
00:20:25Ah!
00:20:26Ah!
00:20:26Ah!
00:20:27Ah!
00:20:27Ah!
00:20:28Ah!
00:20:28Ah!
00:20:29Ah!
00:20:29Ah!
00:20:30Ah!
00:20:30Ah!
00:20:31Ah!
00:20:31Ah!
00:20:32Yeah!
00:20:32OK, OK, OK, OK!
00:20:35Pull it out, have your back pocket.
00:20:37Pull it out, have your back pocket, pull it out, have your back pocket.
00:20:39All right.
00:20:39I mean, nobody's comfortable doing that.
00:20:42Like, you know, we all love to dance, but we like dancing, you know, in a crowd, not having
00:20:44a crowd look at us solo while we do it.
00:20:45There you go.
00:20:46Except maybe Bruno.
00:20:47Oh!
00:20:48Oh!
00:20:49Oh!
00:20:50Oh!
00:20:51Oh!
00:20:52Oh!
00:20:53Oh!
00:20:54Yeah, Bruno!
00:20:55Haha.
00:20:56Oh!
00:20:57Oh!
00:20:57Oh!
00:20:58Oh!
00:20:59Oh!
00:21:00Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.
00:21:04I wasn't really nervous.
00:21:05Actually, I loved being in the rehearsal room.
00:21:08It kind of brings back memory of many, many years ago.
00:21:12I loved it.
00:21:12I thought I really enjoyed it.
00:21:14That was a beautiful, good job.
00:21:16Tay?
00:21:16Yes, let's do it.
00:21:17The time is now.
00:21:19Let's rock that, come on.
00:21:22Here we go, here we go.
00:21:23You got this, Tay?
00:21:24You going to do it with your rag in your hand, Tay?
00:21:25I'm going to do it with my rag in my hand.
00:21:27Hey, I've never mad at that.
00:21:30Come on, Tay.
00:21:31Oh, oh!
00:21:32Oh, oh, oh!
00:21:33Oh, oh, oh!
00:21:34Oh, oh, oh, oh!
00:21:35Oh, oh, oh!
00:21:36Oh!
00:21:37Oh, oh, oh!
00:21:38Oh!
00:21:39Oh, oh, oh, oh!
00:21:40Oh!
00:21:41Oh!
00:21:42Oh!
00:21:43What?
00:21:44Oh!
00:21:45I'm teasing!
00:21:46We're teasing!
00:21:47Oh!
00:21:48Yes, Tay!
00:21:49I mean, the whole point of this is don't die of embarrassment, right?
00:21:54We're doing a striptease in front of a live audience.
00:21:56That was great!
00:21:57Yes, Tay!
00:21:58Hey!
00:21:59If we can do that, hopefully that'll inspire people to go get checked.
00:22:05Were there any things that you guys were thinking when you were watching the other people dance?
00:22:08It's something about in this specific atmosphere.
00:22:12Because I forgot, I don't feel like I feel when I'm on the dance floor.
00:22:17Interesting.
00:22:18I love to dance.
00:22:19Yeah, I mean, that's obvious.
00:22:20But I mean, but that's not what I do on the dance floor.
00:22:23Really?
00:22:24Yes, I felt like it was someone else's body.
00:22:27It was good.
00:22:28I didn't like it.
00:22:29I understand what you said.
00:22:30I haven't had to do this in front of people.
00:22:32I wanted to see what you do when you're uncomfortable.
00:22:35Dwight, you falling asleep or you thinking?
00:22:38No, I was just listening to what everybody said.
00:22:40Yeah.
00:22:41I was subconscious today and I've never been subconscious before.
00:22:44Once we get on the stage, it's blinders are off.
00:22:48I'm thinking to myself, okay, how can I do this dance?
00:22:53Barron it all.
00:23:04Our first day of rehearsal is in books.
00:23:07You know, me and the fellas are really bonding.
00:23:11Dance steps are coming together.
00:23:13But there's a problem.
00:23:14We still need six people and only four showed up.
00:23:17So I reached out to somebody I know will have no problem getting naked on stage with me.
00:23:24Come in.
00:23:25All right.
00:23:27Joel?
00:23:28Yeah?
00:23:29Hey, man, what's going on?
00:23:30Not much. I ain't doing.
00:23:31I'm doing all right, baby. I'm doing all right.
00:23:33All right, so hey, look, this is what...
00:23:35Fanning the egg, buddy.
00:23:36All right.
00:23:37I dropped an egg. It didn't break. I can't believe it.
00:23:39All right.
00:23:40So look, Joel, this is what I want to talk to you about, man.
00:23:42Remember the movie, The Full Monty?
00:23:44I never saw it.
00:23:45Okay, well, I'm putting together something called The Real Full Monty.
00:23:48Okay.
00:23:49And it's to bring awareness to cancer.
00:23:51I got celebrities coming on and talking about how their lives have been affected with cancer.
00:23:55Amazing. There's a lot of dancing, though, right?
00:23:57Not a lot, but there is some.
00:23:58Yeah, it's got to be a pass for me. I don't dance.
00:24:02I just don't feel free enough to do something like that.
00:24:05Yeah, I got other friends.
00:24:08But my personal network hasn't been working out, and I need to expand our reach.
00:24:14Welcome, my man, Anthony Anderson, to the show right here. How are you, brother? Always good to see you.
00:24:19Hey. People excited. People excited.
00:24:23So it's good to be here. I'm doing great, Mario. How are you, baby?
00:24:26I'm well, thanks for asking. What's going on with you these days? I heard you've been extra busy.
00:24:31I'm putting together this show called The Real Full Monty, bringing awareness to cancer.
00:24:36A lot of men really don't get colonoscopies done, and they can be preventative.
00:24:40So I decided to put this show together and be vulnerable to the world with, you know, five other of my friends and colleagues on stage butt naked in front of a live audience.
00:24:49Good for you, man. That's such an important cause.
00:24:52Yeah. Is there a reason when my people called you, we didn't hear from you?
00:24:57I mean, we didn't even get a no. We didn't even get a maybe. We didn't hear from you, Mario.
00:25:03I'm going to keep it real. I'm going to keep it real.
00:25:04Uh-huh.
00:25:05I'm married to a very spicy Italian woman.
00:25:08Yes.
00:25:09Can you just say that? Yes.
00:25:10And Mrs. Lopez didn't want anyone seeing The Full Monty from her.
00:25:12I get it. I get it.
00:25:13Well, Mario, since that's a no from you because of your wife, I'm going to turn to this camera right now.
00:25:18Any other friends of mine, celebrities, acquaintances, people who I've never met in life before.
00:25:24If you want to get down with The Real Full Monty to bring awareness to prostate, testicular, and colorectal cancer,
00:25:31come be a part of The Real Full Monty and get butt naked on stage with me.
00:25:45Are you ready for us, madam?
00:25:47What did you think the last night when you got home, were you like, what did I just do?
00:25:52It was a lot. It was like therapy.
00:25:53Yeah, it was.
00:25:54For real. It is.
00:25:55It was like therapy yesterday.
00:25:56Talking about cancer and my mom. It's a lot.
00:26:00You know, when my mom got cancer, nobody knew, didn't tell anybody.
00:26:05She was feeling weird, but she's a trooper.
00:26:09Yeah.
00:26:10She was, it got so tough that we took her to the hospital and then that's when they were like, okay, she's got cancer, she doesn't have much.
00:26:17So then boom, she was gone.
00:26:18Yeah.
00:26:19I danced because of her. She just did it.
00:26:21And then last night I had this dream about my mother.
00:26:24All this stuff is bringing up the fact that like, I didn't really, I haven't really dealt with the fact that she just kind of jetted.
00:26:31Yeah.
00:26:32She didn't tell anybody. And so that, so that's because of this.
00:26:35Wow.
00:26:36Isn't that weird?
00:26:37Of course it is.
00:26:38Isn't that crazy?
00:26:39It brings you back.
00:26:40Yeah.
00:26:41I had no idea that I was still working through it.
00:26:43I had many friends that passed away.
00:26:46Yeah.
00:26:47And sometimes you dream vivid that they're there.
00:26:50Yeah.
00:26:51And you're having fun, you're having conversations.
00:26:53Yeah.
00:26:54It's true.
00:26:55It's so vivid.
00:26:56Yeah.
00:26:57It's like real life is because in a way these people are always part of you.
00:27:00One hundred percent.
00:27:01And what should, and I think is a positive thing.
00:27:03It's a very good thing.
00:27:04Yeah.
00:27:05This is forcing me to deal with it.
00:27:06Yeah.
00:27:07Because I didn't think I was repressing it, but.
00:27:08Well, it's just, it takes a long time.
00:27:10Wow.
00:27:11Yeah, apparently.
00:27:12It takes a long time.
00:27:13It takes a long time.
00:27:15This isn't just a benefit.
00:27:19You know what I mean?
00:27:20This is, this has got bigger meaning.
00:27:22I'm learning about myself in ways that I didn't think I would.
00:27:27And I feel like my mother, she's looking over me and is just making sure I'm on the right
00:27:34path.
00:27:35You could become something for someone that is inspiring for them to go do something that
00:27:39is scary for them.
00:27:40Yeah.
00:27:41It's being checked or if it's, you know, being vulnerable in the moment or something.
00:27:44Well, that's the old point, isn't it?
00:27:45To say, don't be afraid.
00:27:46Don't be afraid.
00:27:47You know, so.
00:27:48So you're not nervous to take anything off.
00:27:50I'm not.
00:27:51What about you, Dwight?
00:27:52Um, I haven't really, I guess, set and thought about it like that.
00:27:57Yeah.
00:27:58I mean, we gotta get naked.
00:28:01Um, I mean, you can't really put too much into it mentally, because then you'll start
00:28:11overthinking everything.
00:28:13And there's no need to.
00:28:15Yes.
00:28:16As we prepare to start our second day of rehearsals, I still haven't filled all my
00:28:24slots.
00:28:25But we got a bit of good news.
00:28:26What's up, man?
00:28:27How are you?
00:28:28How you doing?
00:28:29Everything good, baby?
00:28:30Good, man.
00:28:31Welcome to the park.
00:28:32Thank you so much, dude.
00:28:33We now have a sixth member as Teen Wolf heartthrob Tyler Posey has answered the call.
00:28:37We're gonna go to the studio.
00:28:40Welcome.
00:28:41Hi.
00:28:42Hi, I'm Mandy.
00:28:43Hi, I'm Tyler.
00:28:44Tyler, it's so nice to meet you.
00:28:45Yeah, pleasure.
00:28:46Come on in.
00:28:47Hey, come on in.
00:28:48Sorry I missed out on yesterday.
00:28:49That's okay.
00:28:50Welcome.
00:28:51Take a seat.
00:28:52I'm excited.
00:28:54The reason I'm doing The Real Full Monty is because I lost my mom, Cindy, 10 years
00:28:59ago from breast cancer.
00:29:05And I was still young.
00:29:06I was 23.
00:29:07So I was still just a kid.
00:29:12My mom was very reluctant to go and getting it checked out.
00:29:19And, you know, she's not here anymore.
00:29:26I think people at home need to see what it looks like when you lose somebody to cancer.
00:29:35And 10 years later, it still hurts.
00:29:37It's still a really open wound.
00:29:40I want people to see that and be like, I don't want to put anybody through that.
00:29:43So I'm going to go and get checked out immediately.
00:29:48So now we're going to start learning your routine.
00:29:51Yesterday, it was like, you know, getting to know each other, which was great.
00:29:55But now it's really, we have to, you know, okay, let's learn this.
00:29:59One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
00:30:04Boom.
00:30:05Two, right, left.
00:30:07Go five, six, seven, and eight, and boom.
00:30:11Can we do it again with the music?
00:30:13Because the tempo is not quite, it's uneven.
00:30:16For me, it really is very important that I know the structure.
00:30:19You know, counts, accents, where to do it, how to do it.
00:30:23Because it's this, you know, there's like the one, two, three, and boom.
00:30:28Yeah, it's unsyncopated.
00:30:29You're pushing it a little bit, yeah.
00:30:30You know, you can't mess around.
00:30:32It has to be good.
00:30:33It has to be perfect.
00:30:35Touch, step, cross, and cross.
00:30:39Turn.
00:30:40Ah!
00:30:41360, TV.
00:30:42There you go.
00:30:43Okay, ready?
00:30:44Boom, boom, boom, boom.
00:30:46Other leg, the next one.
00:30:47Boom.
00:30:48There you go.
00:30:49Good.
00:30:50Now do it all together.
00:30:51Then you'll know where you're at.
00:30:52That's it.
00:30:53Tyler, good job.
00:30:54We got it.
00:30:55Oddly, they surprised me with their confidence.
00:30:58Five, six, seven, rock and roll.
00:31:03Ah, yes, one more, come on.
00:31:05I'm interested to see where that goes in the next couple days,
00:31:08because I have a feeling when we start taking off clothes
00:31:11and we start doing things that add other elements,
00:31:14that confidence might shift.
00:31:16Your tie is in your right hand, okay, and your weight is just going
00:31:20back, front, back, front, back, front.
00:31:23Okay, but I think you're going opposite of everybody,
00:31:25so we've got to go back first.
00:31:26Okay, ready?
00:31:27Back first?
00:31:28Back.
00:31:29Don't worry, we're going to get in.
00:31:30Don't worry.
00:31:31It's day one, come on.
00:31:32Day two.
00:31:33We've been probably learning about 30 seconds of a song,
00:31:37and we still have at least two minutes to go.
00:31:39So it's a lot to learn.
00:31:42Back.
00:31:43One, two, three, four, five.
00:31:46You've got to really focus on the little things.
00:31:49This is like next level.
00:31:52You really got to, you really got to just let go.
00:31:57Hey!
00:32:00Excellent rehearsal.
00:32:02Anthony and I do have a surprise for you.
00:32:04We've been working hard for two days,
00:32:06so we're going to go outside of these walls
00:32:08and just get a little fresh air and see what happens.
00:32:11I think the air is fine in here.
00:32:12I'm very happy with the air here.
00:32:14This is supposed to be a treat.
00:32:15We're going to get on a little party bus
00:32:17and see where our talents take us.
00:32:18Yes, yes.
00:32:19Okay.
00:32:20All right?
00:32:21Yes.
00:32:22I did not like the sound of it.
00:32:23No, it's going to be great.
00:32:24We're all going to be in it together.
00:32:33You guys ready?
00:32:34Yeah.
00:32:35No problem in the van.
00:32:36You know what this is.
00:32:37I know exactly what it is.
00:32:38Wow.
00:32:39Is this going to be the hand goal, though?
00:32:41Okay, we'll see.
00:32:44I've arranged a little dancing session
00:32:46to really push these guys to step out of their comfort zone
00:32:49in the last place you'd expect.
00:32:51You know, we're going to open it up and let it breathe.
00:32:53I'm now more confused.
00:32:55It doesn't be confused.
00:32:56Nothing to be confused about.
00:32:57Don't worry, Jolie, just go for it.
00:32:59What are we doing at a hard restaurant?
00:33:02The ultimate goal is to allow ourselves to be vulnerable
00:33:05and feel confident dancing naked on stage.
00:33:08And this surprise is the first step in stripping away
00:33:11the embarrassment of performing in public.
00:33:13Welcome to the lumber yard.
00:33:17This is a public space.
00:33:18You guys are going to be wearing these vests and these shirts
00:33:24as if you're working here.
00:33:25We got name tags.
00:33:26Mm-hmm.
00:33:27And then we're going to get you out into the store.
00:33:28Oh, yeah.
00:33:29And I'm going to be in your ear, and you're going to hear hot stuff,
00:33:32and I'm going to start talking you through moves I need you to do.
00:33:35Ugh.
00:33:36Come on.
00:33:37I'm never doing anything for you again, man.
00:33:38Oh, okay.
00:33:39Amber.
00:33:40Amber.
00:33:41These are all moves that you know how to do.
00:33:43So you lose my number.
00:33:44These are all moves you don't know how to do.
00:33:45You lose my number, too.
00:33:46Okay.
00:33:47Aw.
00:33:48It's important, I think, to start doing things in front of people
00:33:52that aren't just me.
00:33:53To get ourselves in an uncomfortable situation.
00:33:55Yes, in an uncomfortable situation.
00:33:56And accept it and just keep going for it.
00:33:57And have fun with it.
00:33:58Listen to Team Wolf.
00:33:59Listen to Team Wolf.
00:34:00I get it.
00:34:01Get your vests on.
00:34:02Let's go.
00:34:03I'm not into this.
00:34:04There are going to be other people there,
00:34:05and it may be embarrassing, but I'll do it because I have to,
00:34:08but I'm not too into it.
00:34:11This task was inspired by the scene in the film
00:34:14where the guys were all waiting in the unemployment zone.
00:34:17What Mandy's talking about is when in the full Monty,
00:34:20hot stuff comes on, and unbeknownst to everyone else,
00:34:22they just start doing the routine.
00:34:24They're losing their inhibitions,
00:34:26and they're starting to become a group.
00:34:28Customers at this store are about to meet six new members of the staff.
00:34:35Can you hear me okay?
00:34:36Yeah.
00:34:37Great.
00:34:38Get ready for this track in your ear.
00:34:41We can do it here.
00:34:42We can do it anywhere, guys.
00:34:43Here we go.
00:34:44Let's go.
00:34:45Need some help with something, sir?
00:34:46Just looking around.
00:34:47Just looking around?
00:34:48All right.
00:34:49I see you, Jay.
00:34:53Give me a move.
00:34:59All right, Anthony.
00:35:00I'd like for you to go to aisle 22, please.
00:35:03Excuse me, ma'am.
00:35:05Hey, how are you?
00:35:06Good, how are you?
00:35:07All right, can I help you with anything?
00:35:08Where's your garden house?
00:35:09Let's add a little butterfly.
00:35:11Can you butterfly?
00:35:15Butterfly.
00:35:16Butterfly with me.
00:35:17That's it.
00:35:22Good, Bruno.
00:35:26Hit it, Dwight.
00:35:27Hummingbird.
00:35:28I think it's a little...
00:35:31This way.
00:35:32Very nice.
00:35:33This way.
00:35:34There you go, Jay.
00:35:36Oh!
00:35:37Whoa!
00:35:38Shoot him with it, Jay!
00:35:45Five, six, strut it down.
00:35:47One.
00:35:48Three.
00:35:49Five.
00:35:50Nice.
00:35:51Give it turn.
00:35:52Check it.
00:35:53What about a double pump on the hot stuff?
00:35:56All right.
00:35:57Body roll with me.
00:35:58Come on.
00:35:59There you go.
00:36:00Ah!
00:36:03Nice, Tay.
00:36:04I know I had my issues prior to, but once we were interacting with the real customers,
00:36:09I let go a little bit, and it was a bonding experience.
00:36:12Helping with that tape, Dwight.
00:36:14James, I need you to come dance at the counter for me.
00:36:17Tape.
00:36:18Yes.
00:36:19Hop up there and show the people what you got.
00:36:21Come on, show them that hot stuff.
00:36:22Tape.
00:36:23Yeah, come on.
00:36:24There you go.
00:36:26Everybody was great.
00:36:27They didn't give in to their inhibitions.
00:36:29Uh-huh.
00:36:30Show them that lumber that you got, James.
00:36:33We're coming together as a team, and I'm excited about that.
00:36:36We had great fun with the people in the store.
00:36:38Oh, and now we're ready to go to the next stage, which is more clothes off.
00:36:42Good job.
00:36:43We have no inhibitions, Joe.
00:36:44Amazing.
00:36:45If you can do it in the lumber yard, you can do it on stage.
00:36:55Heading into day three, I get a call from someone who's really connected to what we're
00:36:59doing and wants in.
00:37:00Great news, because more people means greater outreach.
00:37:03We're continuing to practice, but I just hope that he can catch a flight in time.
00:37:07Guys, welcome back.
00:37:09Okay.
00:37:10Okay.
00:37:11So, you know, after yesterday at the lumber yard, I was blown away by your confidence,
00:37:17but now it's time to take it to the next level and get comfortable in your own bodies.
00:37:21So, I have some friends that are in Magic Mike, so I've invited them to come and perform
00:37:28for you guys.
00:37:29Yeah, but that gives you confidence.
00:37:30You get Magic Mike.
00:37:31Yes.
00:37:32I want these guys to have a visual of guys that are working together as a team, that
00:37:37are going full out, that are putting it all out there.
00:37:40And I thought, who's the best to call for this?
00:37:42Magic Mike live.
00:37:43Ah, yeah.
00:37:44Get in here.
00:37:45Okay.
00:37:46I'd never had body issues before, really.
00:37:48But we're going to watch these professionals do it.
00:37:50And, like, how's it going to make us feel?
00:37:52So, this is supposed to give us confidence.
00:37:55Hey, hey, hey, hey.
00:37:59They just get into it.
00:38:01Hey, that's you.
00:38:02Hey, that's you.
00:38:03That's you.
00:38:04Uh-huh.
00:38:05Girl, you got my attention.
00:38:07There's, like, seven guys who are, like, better-looking versions of us.
00:38:11Okay.
00:38:12Taller, stronger, more in shape, and they're definitely showing us up.
00:38:17I got nervous.
00:38:18What do you do?
00:38:19Whoa!
00:38:20Oh!
00:38:21Oh!
00:38:22I can see you do that.
00:38:23That's me.
00:38:24I can see you do that, too.
00:38:25Oh, God.
00:38:26That's what I do.
00:38:27That's what I do.
00:38:28Well, I'm not standing next to them.
00:38:31I was very impressed with these very masculine men performing in front of other men and not
00:38:38being ashamed.
00:38:39I didn't see anybody cowering.
00:38:41There was no discomfort.
00:38:42They just really turned it on.
00:38:44What are they bringing to the space that you guys don't already have?
00:38:47Better bodies?
00:38:48I mean, like, six backs?
00:38:49Well, Bruno, I mean, this is...
00:38:50Abs?
00:38:51Hey.
00:38:52Abs?
00:38:53Guys, I mean, this is good to talk about, right?
00:38:55Because, to me, it's not about bodies.
00:38:57Like, I know when I have my own body issues, so I get it.
00:39:00But, for me, I'm like, I look at you and you're like, beautiful bodies.
00:39:02I mean, I get emotional about it, because I really am proud of you guys a lot.
00:39:06Oh, sweetie.
00:39:07Already, and it's only like the third day, and I'm so proud of you guys.
00:39:11But, I didn't think I was going to get emotional.
00:39:14You know, this show is not about actually stripping your clothes off.
00:39:17It's about, like, stripping your ideas about what your body is and what is uncomfortable
00:39:22and comfortable to talk about between men and women.
00:39:25Honestly, it's not just men.
00:39:27But, I also so appreciate what you guys bring to the table, too, because you're just, like,
00:39:31amazing movers, performers, and you're, like, not apologizing for who you are.
00:39:36I've always been the chubby, husky kid and grew into that and grew to accept it.
00:39:46I'm comfortable within my skin, and what do I have to be ashamed of?
00:39:52Nothing.
00:39:53That's what I'm talking about.
00:39:54Good.
00:39:55Beautiful.
00:39:56You want to put it back on?
00:39:58No, no!
00:39:59Freddie!
00:40:02Come on, boss.
00:40:03Guys, can we get started a little bit?
00:40:04Yeah, yeah.
00:40:05Okay.
00:40:06There's one thing I wanted to shift in a formation thing, because I, well, Anthony, I did say
00:40:11this to you.
00:40:12I really wish that we could find one more person, because I think this works perfect with
00:40:15seven.
00:40:16We got somebody coming.
00:40:17Don't worry about it.
00:40:18Oh, really?
00:40:19Do you know when they're coming?
00:40:20Just the day of the show, or?
00:40:21We don't know.
00:40:22Who's the mystery seventh person?
00:40:24We're hoping a seventh person comes.
00:40:27We are close to show time.
00:40:29I know.
00:40:30Well, they're not going to have much time to learn, but that's okay.
00:40:31All right.
00:40:32Here we go.
00:40:33Keep the suspense.
00:40:34Having done Dancing with the Stars, I do have some experience.
00:40:37But five days is a very short time to learn to dance.
00:40:40Five, six, seven, eight.
00:40:42That's a one, two, your own thing.
00:40:46Five and.
00:40:47Okay.
00:40:48Five and.
00:40:49But don't we have to clap after that?
00:40:51On eight.
00:40:52Okay?
00:40:53So we have.
00:40:54Oh, clap.
00:40:55After the tie throw?
00:40:56Be nice to run it a few times.
00:40:57Yes, please.
00:40:58So it gets in your head with the music.
00:40:59Of course.
00:41:00Yeah, that's what rehearsal's for, Bruno.
00:41:01Thank you for reminding me, sir.
00:41:02You got it.
00:41:03When you are a judge in Dance with the Stars, it's like playing a part in a movie.
00:41:07But dancing in the studio, I haven't done that in an eternity.
00:41:12I got to say, the amount of joy I get, Bruno, watching you try to figure out how to learn
00:41:17to dance in a very small amount of time.
00:41:19I know.
00:41:20It brings me a whole lot about it.
00:41:22That really makes you happy, isn't it?
00:41:24Oh, man.
00:41:25You got your revenge.
00:41:26I didn't know I needed this so badly.
00:41:27I know that is like...
00:41:29It's no take two.
00:41:30It's much harder.
00:41:31There's pressure on us as a whole because we want to look good together.
00:41:48But there's also, you know, pressure on us individually because, yeah, I would hate to
00:41:52mess up a routine and let the rest of the guys down.
00:41:55Throw the shirt.
00:41:56You go back on the left.
00:41:57Right, right, right.
00:41:58All right.
00:41:59I thought we had most of the routine down yesterday, but there's a lot of moves still.
00:42:05And it's just, Manny's throwing more and more and more stuff at us.
00:42:08Go look, go look, and ha!
00:42:10That's okay.
00:42:12Okay.
00:42:13On a scale of one to great, we were quite great.
00:42:16Yeah, that's okay.
00:42:17That's okay.
00:42:18The end is great.
00:42:20We're in single digits.
00:42:21We are not a seven.
00:42:23I'm feeling the weight of just the choreography and not yet.
00:42:28Once I get the choreography in my body, then I'll be able to connect the dots.
00:42:33We will put on our shirts and our pants and the whole kit and caboodle, okay?
00:42:38Once you get the clothes on, it's a whole different bargain.
00:42:42It adds this whole other thinking element to actually commit and follow through with it.
00:42:46So it's almost like relearning the dance again.
00:42:51Take it off, Terry!
00:42:54I'm hoping by the end of the day that we feel good and like we've got it all locked in.
00:42:58But right now it's a little daunting.
00:43:00Take them off!
00:43:01Take them off!
00:43:02Take them off!
00:43:03Hey guys, not so bad!
00:43:06You guys look good!
00:43:08Look at you and your hotness!
00:43:10Today, they actually got serious.
00:43:12Everyone was less yuckety-yuck.
00:43:14And they were like, oh, we're doing this and we care about it.
00:43:17And it's okay to be like fully invested in this situation.
00:43:21Look, we had some drama with ties.
00:43:23We had some drama with shoes.
00:43:24My drama with my belt is broken.
00:43:26That's okay.
00:43:27Go take a little lunch.
00:43:28I'm just going to have lunch like this.
00:43:29I think you should.
00:43:30Just get used to being in your skivvies.
00:43:32I want to know what this show about.
00:43:35That's called a full monty.
00:43:37Learning plays and stuff like that, I'm used to that.
00:43:40But learning a routine is different.
00:43:42It's pretty hard to do.
00:43:43Are you going to be like naked with girls?
00:43:46I'm going to be naked with an audience.
00:43:51Oh, no.
00:43:52Hell no.
00:43:55No, don't do that.
00:43:58With Dwight's friend putting some doubts in his mind,
00:44:01what arrived next wasn't going to make it any easier for him.
00:44:04Really?
00:44:05You had to wheel him in like that?
00:44:06You just couldn't come hand him to us?
00:44:09The thong has been introduced to us.
00:44:11You want to wear my thong?
00:44:12Oh, love.
00:44:13Oh, love.
00:44:14And it's a little intimidating.
00:44:18Okay, unclip.
00:44:20Unclip.
00:44:21And careful.
00:44:22You okay?
00:44:23It's going to come off.
00:44:25Well, and rip.
00:44:27But how are we going to rip it off?
00:44:29Like this, Dwight.
00:44:31Ow!
00:44:32Oh!
00:44:33You're going to be careful.
00:44:34I know.
00:44:35I'm worried about that.
00:44:36Yeah, it's a little dangerous.
00:44:38Well, you got to live on the edge, bro.
00:44:41I'm getting closer to the day that we have to take our clothes all the way off.
00:44:45Now I start to panic.
00:44:47Now I start to panic.
00:44:49No, no, no.
00:44:50No panic.
00:44:51The pressure is on.
00:44:53Clip and rip!
00:44:54Let's go!
00:44:55Being able to snap and pull these off.
00:44:58You know, it's like...
00:45:01It's a little crazy.
00:45:02A little crazy.
00:45:05Heh.
00:45:19Three days until performance.
00:45:21Driving to rehearsal.
00:45:22I've been listening to these guys talk about their connection to cancer.
00:45:26They've been open, they've been honest.
00:45:28And I've been quiet.
00:45:35It's not that I don't trust them.
00:45:36It's just...
00:45:39It's not an easy thing to talk about.
00:45:45But we've been bonding.
00:45:46We've been sharing a lot of laughs.
00:45:48Uh...
00:45:50And, you know, I can feel the love.
00:45:51I can feel the support.
00:45:52I feel like this is a really good, safe group of guys.
00:45:58And I think maybe it's, uh...
00:46:02It's time to open up your mouth.
00:46:06Five, five, six, seven, eight...
00:46:09I definitely think the reality is sinking in for these guys.
00:46:11I love that I walked into the studio and Tay and Bruno were already here practicing.
00:46:15We're rehearsing without me?
00:46:16Get in here, Tyler.
00:46:17Come on.
00:46:18All right, I'm gonna put my clothes on.
00:46:19These guys don't want to look like fools on stage.
00:46:20They really want to get it right.
00:46:21While Tay and Bruno perfect their moves, I'm waiting on the arrival of my surprise seventh
00:46:22member.
00:46:23Three-time Super Bowl champion and five-time pro bowler, Chris Jones.
00:46:40Oh!
00:46:41You doing all right?
00:46:42What's going on, big fella?
00:46:43It's a pleasure.
00:46:44I'm doing fantastic.
00:46:45Welcome, baby.
00:46:46Welcome, man.
00:46:47It's a pleasure.
00:46:48I'm gonna just cut straight to the chase.
00:46:49What makes you want to be here with us?
00:46:50I've been affected by it.
00:46:51Okay.
00:46:52I have family memories.
00:46:53I've been affected by it.
00:46:54The opportunity to put the emphasis on cancer.
00:46:57Yeah.
00:46:58Okay.
00:46:59Okay.
00:47:00You know?
00:47:01I had a coach who was not only a mentor, a father figure, but someone I held dear to my heart and still hold dear to my heart, who played a significant role in my success in my life.
00:47:16He passed 2018, a pancreatic cancer.
00:47:20It was a three-year battle, and when this opportunity came about, all I could think about was him. Coach Franks, me and his wife still tested his day.
00:47:32His thing is completely hilarious.
00:47:35He would probably ask me, are you getting a thong to dance on stage for cancer, huh?
00:47:42And I'd be like, yeah.
00:47:44He said, what a guy.
00:47:45Fellas! Fellas! Fellas!
00:47:46What's up, gentlemen?
00:47:47Hey, what up?
00:47:48I got our newest favorite team.
00:47:49How are you doing, bro?
00:47:50Chris, welcome.
00:47:51Chris, I am Mandy.
00:47:52Mandy, it's a pleasure.
00:47:53It is so nice to meet you.
00:47:54It's a pleasure.
00:47:55Welcome to the team.
00:47:56You are gonna be thrown in, my friend, today.
00:47:57Let's do it.
00:47:58So good to have you here.
00:47:59I think what I would like to do, this is actually perfect.
00:48:01I know we're still waiting on Dwight.
00:48:02We're a little late, but we're just gonna keep moving through, okay?
00:48:04Uh-huh.
00:48:05We've got Chris Jones here.
00:48:06He's joined the team.
00:48:07He's joined the team.
00:48:08He's joined the team.
00:48:09He's joined the team.
00:48:10He's got a lot to learn.
00:48:11He's three days behind, so we gotta get him caught up quick.
00:48:13Pivot one, two, three.
00:48:14You're gonna love it.
00:48:15Smack it.
00:48:16Smack it.
00:48:17Smack it.
00:48:18Smack it.
00:48:19Smack it.
00:48:20Do your own pose.
00:48:21Okay.
00:48:22Okay, does that make sense?
00:48:23When do we do the rip-off?
00:48:24Not yet, Chris.
00:48:25I'm sorry.
00:48:26I'm sorry.
00:48:27Chris, the rip-off not to the end, dog.
00:48:28Okay, I'm sorry.
00:48:29My apologies.
00:48:30Man, there's a whole lot before you.
00:48:31I'm just waiting on Dwight.
00:48:32I'm just waiting on Dwight.
00:48:33We're a little late, but we're just gonna keep moving through, okay?
00:48:34Uh-huh.
00:48:35We've got Chris Jones here.
00:48:36He's joined the team.
00:48:40Okay.
00:48:41My apologies, you guys.
00:48:42I got a little excited.
00:48:43I don't think we're gonna have any trouble with Chris getting undressed.
00:48:45Let's just get the first perch, and then we'll put on the stuff, okay?
00:48:48I got you.
00:48:49All right.
00:48:50While Chris is excited to bear it all, Dwight still hasn't shown up, and none of us have
00:48:55heard from him.
00:48:56Considering he was the most freaked out about the thongs yesterday, I'm getting a little
00:49:00worried.
00:49:01Hey, brother.
00:49:02Anthony Anderson.
00:49:03Six, seven, eight.
00:49:04Hey, give me a call back.
00:49:06I need everybody to get into their wardrobe, and let's start.
00:49:09Teaching Chris this number.
00:49:10I have to have a P.
00:49:11Can I have a P?
00:49:12With or without Dwight?
00:49:13We've gotta keep moving.
00:49:14This is Chris's first day, obviously, and we're gonna be going over details.
00:49:19Well, we're gonna take it beat by beat then.
00:49:21Love it.
00:49:22Okay.
00:49:23We still need to rehearsal too, Chris.
00:49:24Don't think it's just you, dawg.
00:49:25Okay.
00:49:26So, everyone's gonna go into their first position on the elevator, so you're bent down with
00:49:30your right knee down.
00:49:31Nice and easy, please.
00:49:32Those aren't real pockets on those pants, Chris, just so you know that.
00:49:35Did you just put something in there?
00:49:36I did.
00:49:37It ain't no pocket, dawg.
00:49:38Okay.
00:49:39Music starts.
00:49:40Ready?
00:49:41It's his first pair of tearaway pants.
00:49:46And one, two, three, four, stop.
00:49:50I had a sense of nervousness.
00:49:52I'm kinda late, so it's a lot that I have to take in.
00:49:55Slow, slow, quick, quick, quick, quick, stop.
00:49:58Good.
00:49:59And you wanna start with your right leg instead of your left.
00:50:00Absolutely.
00:50:01Do it again.
00:50:02Ready?
00:50:03It's like a new football.
00:50:04Play for me.
00:50:05Remembering, taking it in, and then actually going out and performing.
00:50:09That's the most challenging part.
00:50:10Back, front.
00:50:11Back.
00:50:12There you go, Chris.
00:50:13Back.
00:50:14Bend your knees.
00:50:15Back.
00:50:16Good, you're going front.
00:50:17Go back.
00:50:18Back.
00:50:19Back!
00:50:20Chris!
00:50:21There you go, there you go, Chris.
00:50:22You want me to go?
00:50:23No!
00:50:24You was going forward first.
00:50:25Okay, ready?
00:50:26Back.
00:50:27There you go, Chris.
00:50:28Back.
00:50:29Back.
00:50:30There you go.
00:50:31While I'm happy that Chris is quickly finding his groove in our group.
00:50:32There you go, Chris.
00:50:33Ah!
00:50:34.
00:50:35Dwight has finally arrived.
00:50:37Three hours late, and he wants to talk to me.
00:50:40I don't know what's going on with him, but I got a bad feeling about this.
00:50:48Well, I just want to be able to talk to you man to man, you know, about everything, you
00:50:54know, about the show.
00:51:09Well, I just want to be able to talk to you man to man.
00:51:13You know, I said a lot of things that we were doing.
00:51:17I was a little bit uncomfortable when I got back home.
00:51:20You know, I don't think my kids really find it acceptable for me doing certain things.
00:51:28But I just got to be honest with you and be clean with it and let you know.
00:51:34Look, I can't argue with that on that.
00:51:37To have any of us come up on stage and do what it is that we're doing.
00:51:41Even though it's for a great cause.
00:51:43You know, we were all looking forward to doing this as a team.
00:51:45Yes.
00:51:46I can't question you on, why you not doing it man?
00:51:49We're doing it.
00:51:50I respect that.
00:51:51And it ain't no hard feelings.
00:51:52We still feeling it, big dog.
00:51:54Is the fellas still inside?
00:51:56Yeah man, you want to come in there?
00:51:57Yeah.
00:51:58Okay.
00:52:02Yeah!
00:52:03Good!
00:52:04Okay.
00:52:05Good.
00:52:06So a couple little great parts in there, right?
00:52:07A couple of ones.
00:52:08Hey, hey.
00:52:09Everybody, can we stop rehearsing for a second?
00:52:12Fellas.
00:52:13Hi.
00:52:14What's up, fellas?
00:52:15The fellas.
00:52:16Hey.
00:52:17Missed you.
00:52:18I just wanted to first say man, these last couple of days with you guys.
00:52:22I've been nothing but amazing.
00:52:24Unfortunately, I'll have to leave.
00:52:26I won't be able to finish and do the whole show with you guys.
00:52:30But, you know, I know that you got a great replacement.
00:52:33He's very quick.
00:52:36I have to say.
00:52:37Yeah, I guess this is my goodbye for now.
00:52:39Next time.
00:52:40Next time.
00:52:41Yeah, man.
00:52:42Great to meet you.
00:52:43Appreciate you.
00:52:44Nice to meet you.
00:52:45It's unfortunate that we lost Dwight as a team member today.
00:52:49Putting together this group of men that we have to do what we're doing is a big thing.
00:52:54Everybody's got to ditch the embarrassment and get comfortable in their own skin.
00:52:58Dwight's not ready to take that step.
00:53:00I'm just praying his exit doesn't spook the rest because we're out of time for setbacks.
00:53:05What would this look like with just the six of us?
00:53:08You would split center.
00:53:09There we go right here.
00:53:10With Chris.
00:53:11Should we try that version?
00:53:12Let's do it.
00:53:13Let's do it right now.
00:53:14Two triangles on this.
00:53:15Correct.
00:53:16Yeah.
00:53:17Let's do that right here.
00:53:18Onward.
00:53:19Let's go, guys.
00:53:20One, two, three, four, five.
00:53:23Boom!
00:53:24Do you want to do that last part?
00:53:25Yeah, yeah, because I was supposed to take the hat off.
00:53:27Yeah, you were.
00:53:28In my experience, when you bring on a new performer, the group becomes tighter in helping
00:53:34that person and usher them in along the way.
00:53:37Downstage, imagine it's pointed towards the audience.
00:53:40Upstage is back.
00:53:41Okay.
00:53:42And your right is stage right.
00:53:43Okay.
00:53:44And your left is stage left.
00:53:45All right.
00:53:46Camera, it's the opposite.
00:53:47All right.
00:53:49My dancing experience, I give myself a five out of ten.
00:53:52I can do what needs to be done.
00:53:55Am I a pro at it?
00:53:56No.
00:53:57Seven, eight.
00:53:58One, two.
00:53:59I'm trying to show them big guys can jig, too.
00:54:01Come on, butterfly, Chris.
00:54:02Fly.
00:54:03Yeah, butterfly, yeah.
00:54:04We're going to do two.
00:54:05We can be, yeah, we can be flexible.
00:54:08We can do everything that small guys do.
00:54:10And we will look better at doing it because we're so big, you can't miss us.
00:54:14Can we do it one more time?
00:54:15Of course you can.
00:54:16This is a make it or break it moment.
00:54:18But we all stepped up and that brought us closer together.
00:54:23Go seven, eight, and three, four, five, six, seven.
00:54:29Take them off!
00:54:31We're doing it.
00:54:32Good job.
00:54:33Well done.
00:54:34Awesome.
00:54:35Well done, Chris.
00:54:36You guys have fun at dinner tonight.
00:54:37Another rehearsal in the books in only 48 hours until we hit the stage.
00:54:43I know we still have a lot of work to do.
00:54:45I wanted to bring the group together after the shock of Dwight leaving.
00:54:48Yeah, it's fabulous.
00:54:49I can't wait.
00:54:50I'm starving.
00:54:51During this performance does make you vulnerable and highlights personal insecurities.
00:54:56So I want to make sure that everyone feels supported.
00:54:59I think it's cool that you guys are here, you know, doing this with me.
00:55:04And, you know, sharing your stories and bringing awareness to prostate and testicular cancer.
00:55:10You know, I think it's great that, you know, we could all come together because cancer affects all of us.
00:55:16I lost my biological father.
00:55:18Robert passed away from cancer.
00:55:20It happened rapidly for him.
00:55:21I got a call to go see him and I went and saw him on a Thursday.
00:55:25And it was fine.
00:55:26We had a great conversation.
00:55:28And I was like, you know, Saturday I'm going to come by with, you know, the wife and the kids to see you.
00:55:32And when we got there on Saturday, he was on an oxygen machine, looked like he had aged 25 years in one day.
00:55:38I told him I loved him at the end of the night and I bring the kids by tomorrow.
00:55:42Hopefully he'd be doing better.
00:55:43And he passed away that night.
00:55:45I really hadn't heard Anthony's story yet.
00:55:47I was just like really starting to understand why everyone was here and doing this.
00:55:52And it felt more real and deep because we've been laughing and joking around.
00:55:57And it was really nice to see that side of him.
00:56:00Most men, myself included, we don't go to the doctor to get checked out unless we have an appendage hanging off or something like that.
00:56:07You know?
00:56:08And it's like by that time it's too late.
00:56:10My mom didn't like going to get checked out.
00:56:12Hmm.
00:56:13She never went to the doctor.
00:56:14If she had gone just for her normal checkups, which she didn't, then she might still be around, you know?
00:56:19But at that point it had started to spread.
00:56:21Yeah.
00:56:22This year it'll be 10 years.
00:56:23Okay.
00:56:24And ever since then I've been like a pretty big advocate learning myself on how to get checked out screened early.
00:56:31It's really sort of serendipitous that we're doing this.
00:56:36Just hearing everybody's story on truly appreciative for this opportunity.
00:56:40You know, for me, that was my high school coach who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
00:56:46Mm-hmm.
00:56:47In a similar situation.
00:56:49Uh, felt pain.
00:56:51Didn't go get it checked out.
00:56:52He was pretty healthy though.
00:56:54Mm-hmm.
00:56:55He got sick.
00:56:56Died.
00:56:57If my coach would've went a little earlier, they probably could've detected it earlier.
00:57:01They'd probably still be living, so.
00:57:03What better way to bring awareness and challenge men and women to get checked?
00:57:09Yeah.
00:57:10You stare at death in the face.
00:57:11Yeah.
00:57:12Because what happened with men.
00:57:13Yeah.
00:57:14You know, you think it will never happen and it does.
00:57:17I think it's beautiful for men especially to be talking like this and I appreciate you for really getting into the fear and not being afraid.
00:57:24Mm-hmm.
00:57:25To have that conversation.
00:57:26Yeah.
00:57:27Um, one thing, can we just get a little bit of privacy for a second?
00:57:32Okay, thank you.
00:57:33I haven't talked to you guys about my connection and why I'm here.
00:58:00Well, I'll be honest, six months ago, I found out that I was diagnosed with cancer.
00:58:07Um, I went in for a colonoscopy.
00:58:12You know, I was coming out of an anesthesia and the doctor said those three words that you don't want to hear, which is, it is cancer.
00:58:20Mm.
00:58:21And, uh, I've been going through it.
00:58:25Did you go in because there was something wrong?
00:58:28I went in.
00:58:29Yeah, I went in because I felt something.
00:58:31When was the last time you had been to the doctor before you went in because you felt something?
00:58:35It had been a minute.
00:58:37Because, you know, life.
00:58:39Yeah.
00:58:40I don't want anybody to have to go through what I had to go through.
00:58:49For the last six months, I've been in treatment.
00:58:52I've done, uh, a whole bunch of therapies, holistic, integrative and otherwise.
00:58:57And it's been a journey, man.
00:59:00I say that with confidence now, but there were definitely some dark days and there were definitely some moments when I felt like I was walking through the valley of the shadow of death.
00:59:10When you're staring at a positive diagnosis, then it's like, okay, how deep within yourself are you willing to look?
00:59:19How you dealt with that being a husband?
00:59:23A father?
00:59:24How, how was that?
00:59:26I mean, I think the first thing was denial.
00:59:29It just didn't seem real.
00:59:31It's demanded that I be even more resolute in who I am, in my certainty.
00:59:37The hardest thing about having a cancer diagnosis is what do you tell your kids?
00:59:43I came from a makeover.
00:59:45I got six little hearts that I am looking out for.
00:59:58And, you know, as a father, you want to save your kids as much pain as possible.
01:00:04But those were not easy conversations to have.
01:00:06I mean, I didn't know how to do it any other way than to just be completely honest.
01:00:11And I'm really grateful this didn't happen four months ago, because if I had taken my shirt off four months ago, y'all would have been scared.
01:00:17The timing of this has been perfect because I'm now in a recovery phase.
01:00:21You know, fortunately, I did catch it early enough to do something about it.
01:00:24It's so fresh and so new for you.
01:00:29How long did you sit in that fear?
01:00:33The fear comes in waves.
01:00:36There is nothing wrong with crying.
01:00:38There is nothing wrong with showing your emotions, especially in these circumstances,
01:00:42because it allows you to get to the stage of acceptance.
01:00:48Oh, God, I'm so emotional. Come back.
01:00:51Yeah, I appreciate that, brother. Come here, brother.
01:00:55Come on.
01:00:57For me, it's a tribute not just to Len, but everyone that has been affected by it.
01:01:06And sorry, Zita.
01:01:08I love it.
01:01:10It is so fresh for me, what I've been through.
01:01:13Yeah.
01:01:14Len, where are you going? Why?
01:01:16Yeah.
01:01:17I mean, I admire you because I am just going mental, and your attitude is teaching me a lesson.
01:01:23Mm-hmm.
01:01:24You know what I mean?
01:01:26Mm-hmm.
01:01:27The way he approaches it is a lesson to us all.
01:01:30He's a gentleman. I mean, really, he's a gentleman.
01:01:34For anyone for whom fear is a barrier, I can tell you that after having gone through it,
01:01:40it's been a beautiful thing in my life.
01:01:42And I'm a firm believer that you don't have to go through the kind of hell that I've been through
01:01:46in order to have the benefits.
01:01:49If the thought of getting tested brings up fear, brings up panic, brings up despair,
01:01:54I would say, listen to that.
01:01:57If your barrier is embarrassment, we're stripping naked.
01:02:01If your barrier is fear of a bad diagnosis, listen to that and see what kind of change is.
01:02:07Just asking the question, do I have cancer?
01:02:10See what that brings up and see what kind of changes you can make in your life.
01:02:14And I'm telling you that if you make the changes, I feel like you're not going to have to go through the thing.
01:02:20If we can get up on stage and do a striptease in front of hundreds of people,
01:02:25then other guys can go get screened for cancer.
01:02:29That's the whole point of it.
01:02:31I can't think of five finer children.
01:02:38Likewise, this is to James, this is to your daddy, this is to Len.
01:02:50Just got back from dinner with the boys.
01:02:57This is to James.
01:02:58It's really cool to be in that company.
01:03:00Most of us have had experiences where someone we know didn't get to it early enough,
01:03:06and we saw the worst of it.
01:03:09I saw my mom deteriorate.
01:03:13I think I've been choking back my tears for a long time.
01:03:18I feel like it really needs to let it out.
01:03:25Let something out.
01:03:28Everything that the guys are talking about at the dinner table tonight,
01:03:40where there's embarrassment that stops you from getting checked out.
01:03:43There's fear of having a positive diagnosis that's preventing people from getting checked out.
01:03:49I think it helps to see the other side of it, where it didn't just go away.
01:03:58After an emotional night solidifying our bond, it's time to get back to work.
01:04:12We go live tomorrow, so we're moving our rehearsals to the L.A. Theatre and hitting the big stage.
01:04:19Look at this place.
01:04:20Oh, wow, this is incredible.
01:04:23How about this theatre?
01:04:24Well, that's so good looking, we have to live up to it.
01:04:27Welcome to the space, everybody.
01:04:29Oh, we made it.
01:04:30Yes, we made it.
01:04:31It's going to be great.
01:04:32How are you guys feeling?
01:04:33I'm loving this.
01:04:34I'm excited.
01:04:35It's fun, right?
01:04:36This is actually, there's more room.
01:04:37Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:04:38Is it feeling exciting?
01:04:39I'd be nervous now.
01:04:40Really?
01:04:41It's real now.
01:04:42Seeing the stage for the first time with the guys, it hits me.
01:04:46Tomorrow night, I'm going to strip naked in front of a live audience,
01:04:50as well as the millions and millions of people who are going to be watching this around the globe.
01:04:54Go one.
01:04:55Boom, boom.
01:04:56Seven walking forward and one, two.
01:04:59Does that make sense?
01:05:00Yup.
01:05:01Yup.
01:05:02My apologies, man.
01:05:03Don't apologize.
01:05:04I keep dropping it right here.
01:05:05Don't trouble it.
01:05:06I got you.
01:05:07I got you.
01:05:08With tomorrow's performance looming, I'm feeling the heat.
01:05:11And one.
01:05:12I'm getting pretty amped up.
01:05:13And when I get amped, I get last.
01:05:15Hold a rock, Chris.
01:05:16You just switched to the house.
01:05:18One.
01:05:19I'm going to need to take a break after this, I think.
01:05:22Here we go.
01:05:23Okay.
01:05:24You deserve it.
01:05:25Anthony, he has his voice.
01:05:27Bam!
01:05:28Sometimes it feels like a really sharp knife going into my left ear.
01:05:33It's safe.
01:05:34Okay, Bruno.
01:05:35Bruno.
01:05:36Yes, you pushed it back.
01:05:37You're safe.
01:05:38Help it.
01:05:39I'm nervous.
01:05:40Not a bad nervousness, but just, you know, it's like, mm.
01:05:43I wonder how this is going to be.
01:05:45Guys, go take a little lunch.
01:05:47Hey, baby.
01:05:48How you doing?
01:05:49I'm good.
01:05:50Are you ready to get naked?
01:05:52Ready or not, it's happening.
01:05:54Never in my life did I think I would actually be having some serious cheerleading for you getting
01:05:59naked in front of a bunch of people.
01:06:03I still can't believe that that's actually going to happen.
01:06:06Yeah, me neither.
01:06:07I think you're going to see my baby maker.
01:06:10There are tears.
01:06:12There's laughter.
01:06:13And there'd be six out.
01:06:16So, yeah.
01:06:17Welcome to the Full Monty.
01:06:18It's final dress rehearsal time.
01:06:28We've got to iron out any wrinkles now, because after this, it's showtime.
01:06:31And despite my worries, we're doing pretty good.
01:06:34What you got?
01:06:35Coats and shoes off?
01:06:36No problem.
01:06:37Let's go.
01:06:38The ties and shirts weren't no thing.
01:06:41Hang on!
01:06:42Hang on!
01:06:43Ah!
01:06:44The pants all came off clean as hell.
01:06:46Only one thing left to conquer.
01:06:48All right, let's go!
01:06:49I can't find my thong!
01:06:50No, yeah!
01:06:51Yeah, come on!
01:06:52You're okay!
01:06:53Keep going!
01:06:54Hey!
01:06:55Happy birthday!
01:06:56Hey!
01:06:57Hey!
01:06:59I snatched Chris, I snatched Chris's thong off!
01:07:00The **** though.
01:07:02It wouldn't come off.
01:07:03You okay, G?
01:07:07Yeah, I got slapped in the face by Anthony's thong.
01:07:09How'd that get all the way to my side?
01:07:11No, just cuz I just RIPPED IT.
01:07:12I snatched Chris. I snatched Chris's thong off.
01:07:14No, it wouldn't come off.
01:07:17You okay, James?
01:07:18Yeah, I got slapped in the face by Anthony's thong.
01:07:21How'd that get all the way to my side?
01:07:23Oh, just because I just ripped it.
01:07:26Okay.
01:07:28First time I've been in the face with a thong.
01:07:30The routine is mostly there, but that thong removal?
01:07:34Not exactly sexy or smooth, which is a problem.
01:07:37Let me give you just a couple, like, choreography notes, okay?
01:07:40How do thongs go?
01:07:42This is where we start to fall apart.
01:07:45The thong didn't work.
01:07:47Anthony takes Chris's thong off and bonks James in the eyeball.
01:07:52I mean, I was just like, this looks like a Marx Brothers routine.
01:07:55Like, what are we doing?
01:07:56We're going to have to have, like, a thong workshop downstairs.
01:08:00Because I just want to make sure that you guys can practice those real suckers
01:08:02and, like, do it for real.
01:08:04We can't get all the way and fail at the last step.
01:08:07We've been having some issues with the removal of our thongs, right?
01:08:21Yeah.
01:08:21In rehearsal, I put James' eye out when I snatched off Chris's thong.
01:08:27We have never gotten fully naked on stage.
01:08:31So we're going to have a thong rehearsal.
01:08:33I'm for it.
01:08:34All right?
01:08:34Yeah.
01:08:34And also, Anthony, I'd love to add this, because a couple of you in rehearsal,
01:08:39if we had done that for real, you would have showed me all your stuff as you were taking
01:08:42off your thong.
01:08:43Well, Mandy, some of us wants to show our stuff.
01:08:45I mean, it is what it is.
01:08:46It's all fun and games, but there is technique.
01:08:49We're all waiting for the moment where the thong comes off, and they get to do this and
01:08:52do the real full Monty.
01:08:54So if the thong doesn't come off, it kind of ruins the whole moment.
01:08:57So there's a lot at stake.
01:08:59And then we go boom, boom, three, four, five.
01:09:04Up, I hear it.
01:09:06Hey!
01:09:08How we feeling?
01:09:10You good?
01:09:10I'm loose.
01:09:11I think the more we're exposed, the more we're fulfilling the message that we're trying
01:09:16to relay here.
01:09:17This is, I'm more nervous doing this in front of you guys.
01:09:20Six, seven.
01:09:21Take them off!
01:09:22One, two, three.
01:09:24We're going fully out.
01:09:26Three, four, yeah!
01:09:28Six, ten.
01:09:29The full Monty.
01:09:31Five, six, you did it!
01:09:33Eight, three, three, three, three, three, three, three, three, four, five, six, seven,
01:09:36eight, you go one, two, three.
01:09:39Right, I'm not, look at the size of a piece compared to mine.
01:09:44Your thong looks like a basketball jersey when you put it around me.
01:09:48Are you good?
01:09:49Look, Tay's ready.
01:09:50Everyone else is stripping those thongs off, but I can still see Tay's hesitation.
01:09:55Tay, come on.
01:09:56Tay, you good?
01:09:57If we can't get him comfortable in this small room, I don't know what's going to happen
01:10:01in front of a live audience.
01:10:03Three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
01:10:06One, two, three.
01:10:08One, two, three, four.
01:10:09Yes, five.
01:10:10Oh, my God.
01:10:11This is out there.
01:10:12Oh, my God.
01:10:13It's a terrible feeling.
01:10:15That's it.
01:10:16That's it.
01:10:17That's it.
01:10:18Right there.
01:10:19This is why we got to practice.
01:10:21Good.
01:10:22Good.
01:10:23Good, Tay.
01:10:24All right.
01:10:25You got it.
01:10:26Whether I feel it or not, it was good for me to do all of this.
01:10:30Yay!
01:10:31Yay!
01:10:32And now we're there.
01:10:33There's no turning back.
01:10:35Put me in coaching.
01:10:36You know what I mean?
01:10:37Good job, guys.
01:10:38That was a good rehearsal.
01:10:50Okay, today's the day.
01:10:53Got a lot of emotions.
01:10:55I am really eager and excited, and I want to do it already.
01:11:02I'm, like, really looking forward to doing this.
01:11:04I can't sit still.
01:11:05I want to get to this show already in the theater and see everybody.
01:11:09But also, it's a little, definitely a little sad.
01:11:13This is, I mean, we've only been doing this for less than a week,
01:11:17and I'm sad to leave.
01:11:23This is, like, the shortest amount of time where I have grown so attached to something.
01:11:30So, bring on the show day.
01:11:33Do you have any nerves about tonight?
01:11:35This is, like, game day, man.
01:11:36I don't get too excited.
01:11:37You strike me somebody when the pressure's on.
01:11:40You just, like, zone in.
01:11:42I like a little pressure.
01:11:44Yeah, same.
01:11:45How are you feeling?
01:11:46I just want all the timing to work out, all the props to work out,
01:11:49so that it's all uniform, so it's a good show.
01:11:51Right, right.
01:11:52I'll get the excitement right before stage.
01:11:53Yeah, the butterflies.
01:11:54The butterflies.
01:11:55But that's fun.
01:11:56That's the fun part.
01:11:57I think Anthony just wants to make sure that we're not revealing before the reveal.
01:12:01We don't want anything poking out.
01:12:04We don't want anything sliding off before it's supposed to.
01:12:07And those thongs, the thongs, I'm glad we rehearsed taking them off because we found some issues.
01:12:15What's cool about this is that we're all supporting each other.
01:12:18There's, like, no real, I guess, you know, Anthony's the host, but there's no real star of the performance.
01:12:25You know, we're all, we all take turns kind of getting to it.
01:12:27I mean, we'll see once we take our thongs off if there is, but.
01:12:30I'm gonna keep my eyes dead straight.
01:12:34I'm not gonna know who that star is, but.
01:12:37Me either, my brother.
01:12:38Me either.
01:12:39This is really happening, huh, Mandy?
01:12:43Yep.
01:12:44Now there's no turning back.
01:12:45No.
01:12:46This is great.
01:12:47I think it's gonna be pretty epic.
01:12:48Yeah.
01:12:49Having the loss that I've had in my family with my father, I did not get a chance to say goodbye.
01:12:56Um, and that haunts me.
01:12:59So, to bare my soul to the world for something that I believe in, I am finally able to have closure.
01:13:07It's real.
01:13:08The real Palmonty.
01:13:10It's real.
01:13:11I don't think my father would have been in the audience, but he probably would have been,
01:13:15boy, you crazy.
01:13:16But yeah, I'm pretty sure that he is smiling down proud on what we're doing.
01:13:23We've spent the week learning the routine.
01:13:26Are we ready to go for the full Monty in front of a packed house?
01:13:30I hope we can pull it off.
01:13:37Special guests.
01:13:38Uh, well, my mother's here, but my mother was the first person to see me naked.
01:13:43Uh, I don't think my mother's here to see me naked tonight.
01:13:46She's more of a Taye Diggs fan.
01:13:49I don't even know why I'm here.
01:13:50It's a surprise.
01:13:51What about you told you so far?
01:13:54Uh, fundraising.
01:13:57That's all I know.
01:13:58Well, mama is in for the surprise of her life.
01:14:03I am proud of the guys for coming together and sharing their stories.
01:14:07So being the leader of this team, I'm going to keep calm and give them the support they need to get through this.
01:14:13I'm nervous for them.
01:14:14I coached them the best I could.
01:14:16And now it's up to them.
01:14:18Baby oil and all.
01:14:20When I got the call to do the real full Monty, my first reaction was saying no.
01:14:27But in this case, for Len, that's the reason I've done it.
01:14:31Well, it's showtime, so we have to, you know, center, concentrate and deliver.
01:14:37It takes a long time, you know, to allow grief to take its course.
01:14:44I just miss him, so I do it for him.
01:14:47Yes.
01:14:48How are you feeling, baby?
01:14:49We're feeling good.
01:14:50How are you feeling?
01:14:51I feel good.
01:14:52I feel ready.
01:14:53You look good.
01:14:54You look sparkly.
01:14:55You look really nice.
01:14:57Your hair is very dapper.
01:14:59Doing something so meaningful, having the sort of, like, the cathartic experience of my mom passing from cancer at the forefront of every single day, you know?
01:15:05And it helped me work through some stuff that was, I had these blockages, you know?
01:15:08I don't feel as sparkly as you.
01:15:10I mean, underneath the clothes you will be.
01:15:14You're welcome.
01:15:15Appreciate it.
01:15:16We don't have any more rehearsals.
01:15:17This is it.
01:15:18This is it, boss?
01:15:19I'm happy I'm doing this with you.
01:15:20Yeah, man.
01:15:21I just feel really honored and grateful, because this feels like a once in a lifetime kind of thing.
01:15:25This has been great.
01:15:26This is very great.
01:15:27And the most fun is yet to come.
01:15:29Yeah.
01:15:30The Los Angeles Theater is filling up fast, and as the audience takes their seats, there is no
01:15:34turning back now.
01:15:35Do you feel like you can pull off Manny's work?
01:15:38Absolutely not.
01:15:39No, come on.
01:15:40You got this.
01:15:41Manny is a one-on-one, but I'm going to try my bench.
01:15:45We're actually showing our fears of getting naked in front of our audience and showing people it's okay to face those fears.
01:15:52It's okay to go get checked.
01:15:53We ready?
01:15:54It's time.
01:15:55It's time, folks.
01:15:56This is it.
01:15:57All right.
01:15:58Here we go, y'all.
01:15:59Nice.
01:16:00Everybody ready?
01:16:01Yeah.
01:16:02You ready?
01:16:03I'm ready.
01:16:04We have a house full of people.
01:16:05I hear them.
01:16:06I can feel them.
01:16:07Feel the vibration.
01:16:08Now, remember, we're going out there, and it's full, full Monty.
01:16:12All right?
01:16:13Dress rehearsal is over.
01:16:14This is the real deal.
01:16:16I think my strategy is just follow my heart, know that what we're doing is a really good thing, and might really help people to not have to go through what I've been through.
01:16:26I want to thank you, gentlemen, for coming down and being a part of this for me.
01:16:30Thanks for sharing your stories.
01:16:31Thanks for bringing awareness to everything that we're doing today.
01:16:35But more importantly, thank you for putting pride aside, putting fear aside, and being vulnerable, and sharing this stage, sharing yourselves with the people for such a great cause.
01:16:49I haven't put my pride aside.
01:16:51You haven't put your pride aside?
01:16:52Or my fear.
01:16:53Okay.
01:16:54So, only real.
01:16:55Both sides.
01:16:56I feel like I really made some friends on this thing.
01:16:59I mean, once you get naked together, that's a bonding experience for sure.
01:17:04Right.
01:17:05Put it in.
01:17:06Put it in.
01:17:07Put it in.

01:23:17It's been quite a journey.
01:23:47It was a tough challenge, but six courageous friends agreed to take part to help me raise
01:23:54awareness for prostate and testicular cancer.
01:23:58It's been an intense week with plenty of struggles, but the knowledge we're doing is for such
01:24:06an important cause kept us going.
01:24:09It was just about being free and no pun intended, balls to the wall.
01:24:15Let's have a drink.
01:24:17If I'm going to be on stage and the world sees me butt-ass naked, I'm butt-ass naked for
01:24:29a reason.
01:24:30And if it's going to help bring awareness to what we're bringing awareness to, I'll be
01:24:35butt-ass naked every day.
01:24:36That was a weird feeling.
01:24:37You change the oil in your car, you rotate your tires, go to the doctor, all right?
01:24:45Even if you're not sick, go to the doctor, get checked out.
01:24:49My mother was in the audience.
01:24:52One last time, put it in.
01:24:59One, two, three.
01:25:01Bruno!
01:25:02Bruno!
01:25:03We got it, baby.
01:25:04Thank you, my brother.
01:25:05No, you got it, brother.
01:25:06Bruno, if you're naked, close your door!
01:25:08Don't nobody want to see this s***?

01:25:23So, it broke and noーーune.
01:25:24Oh, come on!
01:25:25If you wanted to join me every weekend, for you to go to the club.
01:25:27Last time, we'll need to sing our
01:25:40story this summer, so I can see the idea when we're creatures looking for
