'There will be very severe consequences' - Trump asked what might happen if Putin 'doesn't agree to stop the war'

US President Donald Trump claimed there could be 'very severe consequences' if Vladimir Putin did not agree to a ceasefire on Friday, during an event at Kennedy Centre in Washington DC on Wednesday.

Earlier he said there was a 'very good chance' that there would be a second meeting, and that he wanted a 'quick second meeting between President Putin and President Zelensky and myself if they'd like to have me there'.

Putin and Trump will meet in Anchorage, Alaska on Friday.
