00:00 This video is about Motoblock in Aravili Hills of South Delhi.
00:05 On my left hand side of the road is JNU which is surrounded by Aravili Hills.
00:11 And this road is one of the most hilly terrains in the South Delhi region.
00:16 And the fun fact about this road is the normal temperature around Delhi is around 40 in summer
00:22 season or more than 40.
00:24 But here you will see little cold because it is a dense forest from both sides of the
00:30 road since on the right hand side of the road is Vasan Bihar region where you will find
00:36 hill view apartments and on the left hand side is Aravili Hills and some institutional areas.
00:44 Many of the motor vloggers claim that while riding on this road it seems like a hill station.

01:03 So till the year 1975 this region was very unhabitable and only nomads used to live in this place.
01:12 Aravili Hills was inhabitable.
01:15 On the left hand side of the road is Samajwadi party's headquarter in Delhi region.
01:22 So coming back to nomads so until 1975 there was no one living here but after 1985 central
01:30 government of India decided to establish residential places for common employees and create some
01:37 DDA colonies so they developed the Vasan Kunj and Vasan Bihar region.
01:44 But unfortunately due to rapid deforestation of Ravili Hills temperature of Delhi increased
01:50 a lot and due to which they will see rapid decline in the air quality index of Delhi.
01:58 So as you can see we are heading towards so this road heads towards Grand Hayat Hotel in
02:05 Vasan Kunj. On the left hand side is one of the most premier hotels of South Delhi.
02:12 Many students who are doing diploma in hotel management they get internship from this hotel.
02:19 And the road in which we are riding is the back side of Ambience Mall and DLF Vasan Kunj.
02:25 So it gives the feeling of any hill station like Ooty or Shimla.
02:30 So whenever you feel stressed or feel depressed just take your motorcycle or car and ride on
02:36 this road.
02:36 It will give you a soothing feeling.
02:40 Because in chaotic environment of city there is very less places where you can feel peace
02:45 of mind and this place is exactly the one which you can feel the real peace.
02:51 And let me remind you on both sides of the roads these areas are totally protected under
02:57 the Ravili Hills Forest Protection Act which was introduced by Delhi government and also
03:04 by central government.
03:06 Thankfully because of which we still have a clean environment and also pure air quality
03:11 in this region of Vasan Kunj.
03:14 This road in which we are riding heads towards Ravili biodiversity park which is one of the most
03:20 awesome and rich biodiversity park in South Delhi region.
03:25 And it is situated in the back side of the Ambience Mall.
03:29 It is hardly 1 km walking distance from Ambience Mall.
03:34 And the main thing is you have enough of parking space.
03:38 And let me assure you if you spend around 30-40 minutes in Ravili biodiversity park you will
03:45 really feel good health because you know you will get a chance to breathe raw oxygen and
03:51 also you will see some special species of plants.
03:56 These places are really hidden gems because these areas really give you happiness from your
04:03 chaotic city life.
04:05 Many people still can't believe how does this green area or this green patch exist in most
04:10 polluted city of Delhi.
04:11 Whenever you have free time please do visit Ravili hills region and Ravili biodiversity park.
