It's 100 days since Friedrich Merz became Germany's 10th postwar chancellor. How do people think Merz and his coalition government are performing so far?
Transcript
00:00Yeah, could be better.
00:04Things are looking up. I hope it stays that way.
00:08I didn't vote for him.
00:11And I wouldn't vote for him. I have to be honest about that.
00:15He just makes a good impression.
00:18I think it's bad that promises made before the election are being broken.
00:23And in that respect, I find it disappointing. I'm disappointed.
00:26We need to become more European. That's a big problem in Germany. We are drifting apart.
00:32What's happening with Ukraine is very good. With the new deal with Trump, a few things could be improved.
00:39In my opinion, Merz sides a bit too much with Trump.
00:43I don't see anything changing. Nothing changed. The previous coalition fell apart and the new coalition is continuing in the same vein as before.
00:52I'd want politics to be all about peace. I'm not a fan of war at all.
01:00And maybe that's because I'm a woman. It's always men who get into wars, right?
01:05But there are plenty of women who feel the same way and I'm totally against it.
01:10I wish things were different.
01:11I wish things were different.
01:12I wish it would be different.
01:13I wish it would be different.
01:14I wish it would be different.
