00:00Ipo-protesta ng DFA ang banggaan ng dalawang barko ng China na humabol sa barko ng Pilipinas sa Bajo de Masinluc.

00:08Wala pa namang katiyakan kung ano ang sinapit ng mga China Coast Guard personnel sa nabanggang barko.

00:14Narito ang report.

00:18Bago ang banggaan ng Chinese Guided Missile Destroyer na Guilin at Coast Guard Vessel 3104 ng China,

00:25nakapwa humabol sa BRP Suluan sa Bajo de Masinluc.

00:28Makikita ang may apat na Coast Guard personnel na nagbababa ng bumper sa bow o harapan ng CCG Vessel.

00:37Matapos ang salpukan, hindi na sila nakita sa harapan ng barko, palaisipan kung ano ang nangyari sa kanila.

00:49Nag-aloktang tulong ang BRP Suluan pero di sumagot ang mga Chino.

00:53Prior to the departure of BRP Suluan, we saw that some of the Chinese Coast Guard vessels who were also in the vicinity

01:00launched their own Wigidal inflatable boat and they appeared to be searching for something or somebody.

01:10So we assumed that there was a search and rescue that was conducted yesterday.

01:15Our thoughts and prayers are still for those Chinese Coast Guard who were injured dahil dito sa incidente.

01:22Wala pang inilalabas na pahayag ang Chinese government tungkol sa kanilang mga tauhan.

01:27Sa lakas ng banggaan, tila na pingas ang uso ng CCG Vessel.

01:32Sa huling impormasyon ng PCG, sinubukang kumpunihin kahapon ang harapan ng barko

01:36bago ito hinatak papunta sa mga artificial island ng China.

01:41Naggasgasan naman ang gilid ng Guilin.

01:43Ang BRP Suluan, bumaloktot lang ang flagpole at walang nasaktan sa mga sakay.

01:48Tinumbasa naman ang pagkilala ang crew ng BRP Suluan.

01:52Pero kung tutuusin, posibleng mas malala ang tinamunitong pinsala kung nabigo sa pag-ilag ang barko.

01:5844 meters lang ang haba ng BRP Suluan, hamak na mas maliit sa warship ng People's Liberation Army Navy ng China

02:05na triple ang laki sa habang 135 meters.

02:09Higit doble naman ang laki ng Chinese Coast Guard Vessel 3104 sa habang 90 meters.

02:14Ang PCG, hindi daw masabi kung balak talaga ng mga Chinese na banggay ng kanilang barko

02:23na nag-aatid doon ng ayuda sa mga manging isda sa baho de Masinlok.

02:27You can just imagine the impact kung sakaling ang maliit na barko natin.

02:34I don't want to speculate that the real intention of the PLA Navy warship

02:39was to intentionally ram the Philippine Coast Guard Vessel.

02:43I still stick with our initial assessment yesterday na there was only a miscalculation

02:52on the part of the PLA Navy warship kung kaya't nagkaloon ng collision.

02:57Pero para sa AFP, tanana dya ang China at may balak mambanga.

03:01Yung PLA Navy ship ay talagang ang pakay niya, ang objective niya ay i-ram yung ating Philippine Coast Guard.

03:10Mabuti na lang at mabilis yung ating Coast Guard na iwasan niya yung PLA Navy at yung Chinese Coast Guard.

03:17Maghahaay ng diplomatic protests na nangyari ang Department of Foreign Affairs.

03:21We are of the view that there should be, this is a situation whereby we have to be more careful

03:28and we still go back to the process whereby diplomatic dialogue and discussions will be best for the situation.

03:39Are we going to summon the Chinese ambassador in Medela?

03:41I think there has been a process but we're still rethinking the whole issue. Not yet.

03:48Pilipinas naman ang sinisisi ng Foreign Ministry ng China.

03:51Anila, tigilan na ng Pilipinas ang mga mapanghamong hakbang pinalagan ito ng ating Defense Department.

03:58I'm already tired of contradicting, you know, and I don't want to answer a blatant lie and, you know, glorify it.

04:11And everybody knows the truth, really.

04:14Why will we pick a fight?

04:16That's what the president said yesterday.

04:18Who in his or her right mind will initiate a conflict when you are a smaller country?

04:25Common sense unless they don't have any.
