00:00Previously on Project Runway, I'm back!
00:07I'm having a slight flashback because in my other season,
00:12it was also a team challenge, and I'm having a little PTSD.
00:16What's happening? I already need a martini. All right.
00:19In season 19, I left on episode one,
00:22but I'm very confident about what I made for this challenge.
00:26Literally, like, my intern could sew that in 30 minutes.
00:29I'm a Gemini. I take critiques very like,
00:31don't tell me what to do.
00:33That was the one that I'm using.
00:34Okay, well, I can use it too.
00:36BJ is in her own bubble.
00:39She's very standoffish.
00:40Which part of my start?
00:42This is my best-in-law.
00:43Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.
00:45She's what we call in the business.
00:47A .
00:49Congratulations, Ethan.
00:51You're the winner of this challenge.
00:53Shut up!
00:54Casey, Joseph, and Antonio.
00:57You had the three bottom looks.
00:58Am I being punk?
01:00Ooh.
01:01Oh, he's spicy.
01:02I don't think there's any reason to be defensive.
01:04No, I'm not being defensive at all.
01:05Casey, it's very lackluster.
01:08And what you then wrapped around to me looks like an afterthought.
01:11Do we sit home with a bad dress or the bad attitude?
01:14Just very emotional.
01:16I can't believe this is happening again.
01:18You're so mean.
01:19I'm gonna know.
01:20Why am I here?
01:21I want to go home.
01:26A stake for the winner is $200,000, a spread in Elle magazine, and a life-changing mentorship
01:33with the CFDA.
01:34I can't believe it could happen again.
01:36It just feels like a bad joke.
01:37I can't go home.
01:38Like, I didn't get to show who I was as a designer.
01:41Let's prove to them that we'd make it to the end.
01:45My brother and I are supposed to make it to the end together.
02:11I can't believe I'm in the bottom.
02:13I might be going home.
02:15We're ready?
02:26Casey, Antonio, Joseph, we've made our decision.
02:38Joseph, you're safe.
02:42You can leave the runway.
02:45Thank you, Joseph.
02:52Casey, you had the most beautiful fabric, but it was evident you had unresolved design
02:59problems.
03:01Casey, you're in.
03:11Casey, Antonio, one of you will be in
03:17and one of you will be out.
03:22Antonio, you're in.
03:38You can leave the runway.
03:40I'll work about it.
03:46Ah, Casey.
03:48I'm so sorry, but that means you're out.
03:50Yes.
03:51Oh, my God, you're so sweet.
03:53I'm so grateful to have met you.
03:56Good luck.
04:01Bye, guys.
04:02Casey.
04:04Baby, come here.
04:05I'm so glad I got to meet you guys.
04:07I'm like beyond shocked to be eliminated for this look.
04:10Casey.
04:11Yes.
04:12I know it's rough going on the first.
04:13It's hard.
04:14But you're so talented.
04:15That's why you're here.
04:16That's why you came back, right?
04:18Think about, hold that strong.
04:19Thank you, Christian.
04:20I'm going to send you the workroom, clean up your space,
04:21say goodbye to everybody, okay?
04:22Okay, thank you.
04:23And good luck.
04:24It feels harsh to leave this stage of the competition again.
04:28I definitely feel like I wish I could have shown more,
04:30but I still am really proud of it.
04:32Project Runway is an experience I will never forget,
04:36and I'm probably finished with as of now.
04:39All right.
04:47Come back, sit around.
04:48We're not done.
04:49Oh, my God.
04:50What?
04:51Christian, I don't know how much we can take today.
04:53Competition is very real now.
04:55You just saw it.
04:56Casey walked out the door.
04:58Goes quick.
04:59Ethan, congratulations.
05:01Thank you so much.
05:04I have something extra for you.
05:08Oh, jeez.
05:10Oh, what do you got, mama?
05:12Because you guys are going to continue to work in houses
05:16a little longer.
05:18Oh, what?
05:19As the winning designer in the next challenge,
05:21you're going to have an opportunity to swap a designer
05:24from a house.
05:29Oh.
05:30Christian Siriano really came in and was like,
05:32let me just drop a rock into this pond.
05:35Think on it.
05:36Like Heidi said, new house, new rules.
05:39Okay.
05:40You'll decide at the next challenge.
05:43The houses aren't over yet.
05:45Get ready for it.
05:47Bring it on.
05:48I think I know what I'm going to do.
05:50Things are about to get spicy.
05:58Ooh.
05:59Ooh.
06:00Some jump ropes.
06:01Some jump ropes.
06:02Please and oh.
06:03That Pilates ring in.
06:06Hey, guys.
06:07Guys.
06:08Listen to this.
06:09Here's a gift.
06:10Put these on and meet me in the work room.
06:13Christian.
06:14What?
06:15Let's go.
06:18That last challenge was a lot for me and Antonio.
06:22I think you are being defensive and also a little bit rude.
06:26Sorry if you hate the coat.
06:27I hate the whole look.
06:28But at the same time.
06:29Law.
06:30Don't you worry.
06:31We're about to prove you so wrong.
06:33We're about to prove you so wrong.
06:34All right, everybody.
06:36Let's go to the work room.
06:38Yes.
06:39Woo.
06:40My strategy about this switch is I really want to make sure I'm making the best decision for me.
06:45So do I get rid of Jesus, the boisterous one.
06:49All I have to do is prove him wrong.
06:52Or Vijay that is hard to work with.
06:55How's it going, Diva?
06:56This one.
06:58This one.
06:59So, here's to the right choice.
07:03I like to shake it up and keep that body working.
07:06Yes.
07:07Ooh.
07:08And class begins.
07:09Okay.
07:10All right.
07:11Come on.
07:12Get zen.
07:13Get comfortable.
07:14Get on your mat.
07:16I don't know any yoga poses.
07:17Does anybody know yoga poses?
07:19Okay, come show me.
07:21Yoga is not my thing.
07:23I'm the type of person that gets really bored in the gym.
07:26Bend this knee.
07:27Yes.
07:28My workout is walking to that coffee shop and then enjoy people watching.
07:33That's my workout.
07:35I think I pulled something.
07:38So, you're going to continue to work in houses, Ethan.
07:42Remember, you have the power to swap a member of your house.
07:47I think I am going to do a swap.
07:51A swap.
07:52Uh-oh.
07:53If Ethan is smart enough, he's going to keep me because he knows what I'm doing.
07:57Because he knows what I'm capable of doing and he knows I'm a strong designer.
08:01I think he should get rid of Vijay because she has not been a team player and bring over Antonio.
08:06The pressure.
08:07The pressure.
08:08The pressure is getting wasa.
08:09Yes.
08:10The pressure is getting wasa.
08:11Yes.
08:12Yes.
08:13Yes.
08:14So, I am going to swap.
08:15So, I am going to swap.
08:17Jesus, with Madeline.
08:21Woo!
08:24Jesus and Madeline.
08:27Wow.
08:30You messed up, honey.
08:32I hope you don't regret your decision.
08:34I have full confidence that you're going to kill it.
08:36And I really want to see this dynamic happen.
08:39Because y'all have been claiming that y'all are a powerhouse together.
08:43And I want to see it.
08:44Well, get ready.
08:46They are all talk.
08:48They run a store together, but I'd love to see this store close, baby.
08:53All right.
08:54For this challenge, each house must create a cohesive activewear capsule collection.
09:01Where the collection goes from workout to the weekend.
09:05With one of the hottest activewear companies, Kalia.
09:09Woo!
09:11So to give you guys some more insight into Kalia,
09:15we have a special guest.
09:17Ooh!
09:18Vice President and Head Designer for Kalia, Alicia Scott.
09:21Woo!
09:22Woo!
09:23Woo!
09:24Beautiful!
09:25Beautiful!
09:26Hi, guys.
09:27So good to meet all of you.
09:29We created Kalia about 10 years ago and really wanted to form a brand that is the perfect juxtaposition of fashion and femininity and function.
09:38And I love how you guys have all styled all your pieces you got today.
09:42Our entire collection is rooted in performance.
09:45If you're designing a look for Pilates or run, it needs to be able to function.
09:50We believe there's beauty in the burn.
09:52How's it going to work whenever she is doing a downward dog?
09:55Make sure that when you're designing a piece, it can be used for working out, going to grab coffee, going out to grab cocktails with your friends.
10:03It needs to be versatile.
10:04So not only has Kalia provided look books, they've also provided all the fabrications for the challenge.
10:11Okay.
10:12That's not all.
10:13Kalia is going to produce and sell the winning look from the winning collection.
10:20Woo!
10:21That would be so cool to have a Joseph McCray and Kalia produce.
10:25I feel like it would eat down.
10:27I love the idea of this like beauty in the burn.
10:30So what if we have like fire on the runway?
10:33Ooh.
10:34Like actual fire.
10:36So you'll have all of today and part of tomorrow to create your fire worthy collections.
10:43Don't you love a one day challenge?
10:45Yes.
10:46One day to do this as if there weren't enough stress already.
10:50The burn of it all.
10:52Bye.
10:54Bye.
10:55Ethan, you want to see what it's like when you put Antonio and I together?
11:02It's going to be game on.
11:04And it's going to push me to even do better to beat him.
11:08And then he's going to realize that he up.
11:12Girl, whatever.
11:19What's our team?
11:20Wow.
11:21Team winner.
11:22Team winner.
11:23Team winning.
11:24No.
11:25It has something to do with fire.
11:28Team burn.
11:29I guess it's final answer.
11:31I'm glad I put together a strong team.
11:34I really wanted to equalize the energy of our group by putting all of the boisterous energies on one team.
11:41I want the eight.
11:43I bet you're first.
11:45I'm actually very happy that Ethan let go Jesus because I don't want another drama.
11:52That was the one that I'm using.
11:54Like, which one?
11:55Well, I can use it too.
11:57And it could be hot to do the lines in the proper breath.
12:01That's what I was thinking.
12:02So we'll all have the lines incorporated.
12:04Yes.
12:05Yes.
12:06Okay.
12:07Okay, guys, we need to start the cutting fabrics.
12:09I just want to be cohesive.
12:10I do like this color story situation going on over here.
12:14But we got to pick a group of fabrics and all go with it, you guys.
12:17We decided to call our team the House of Lotus because we wanted to feel the zen within the berm.
12:23And so coming off the last challenge, being in the bottom, our stickler was our cohesion.
12:29So as we're going through these fabrics that Kalia provided us, we're really paying attention to what color palette we want to do so that we really nail that cohesion this time.
12:39Because if we miss it two times in a row, we're going to be done for.
12:42I love this fabric.
12:44And I was trying to get the colors out of this.
12:47This has all your colors.
12:50Once again, Antonio is choosing the fabric.
12:53And I'm getting a little anxious because the last time he chose fabric, we were in the bottom.
13:00Can y'all roll the tape back?
13:01The fabric that I brought from home is in pink.
13:04So let's have the inspiration of our collection be butterflies.
13:07That's the best one out of all of them.
13:09I think we should go with that.
13:10I don't like that.
13:11No?
13:12Mm-mm.
13:13You like this better?
13:14I mean, I like this.
13:15I don't like that either.
13:16But I mean.
13:17If she's like that.
13:18That's what I wanted to start with.
13:19Miss Joan, I want to know.
13:20It is what it is.
13:21Oh, is the drama already beginning?
13:23You know, working with the twins, you know, they're a whole vibe.
13:26But our looks have to be cohesive.
13:29I love Miss Joan, but she's a little, little old school and stuck in the back in the days.
13:35This fabric's so cool.
13:36It's just more young.
13:37I'll make it work.
13:43Don't use the fabric scissors, you nincompoop.
13:46I love Alex.
13:47I didn't expect this competition to become so connective so quickly.
13:52And me and Alex bonded so quickly.
13:55It's so soft.
13:56It's so cozy.
13:57Like she's going to be in it and be like, wow.
13:58I want it.
13:59I want it.
14:00I'm making a lounge sweatsuit with a corset bustier top.
14:05It all sprouted from trying to use the aspects of a kimono.
14:10I grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, but my Nana was a tailor from Nagasaki, Japan.
14:17So I find a lot of inspiration in what the Japanese call intangible cultural treasures.
14:24But my mama would say that I don't bring enough of the South with me.
14:31How are you feeling this week?
14:32Feeling great.
14:33It looks really cool.
14:35Thank you so much.
14:36I appreciate that.
14:37You are absolutely looking at the next winner of Project Runway.
14:42My design aesthetic is a combination of street wear and elegance.
14:46I want to win Project Runway for my daughter, Ava.
14:49It's right here.
14:51Having her change me as a person, it gave me so much more drive.
14:55And I do this all for her.
14:56So I have to make this stand out and hopefully wild the judges.
15:04Madeline, what informs your work?
15:06I'm trying to always like see things that I like about vintage fashion, but then giving it like my own little twist.
15:16What about yourself?
15:18I grew up in like a hoedunk farm town.
15:20I just felt inherently so different from the rest of my family.
15:23The only thing I could really do was, you know, rely on my own creativity and imagination to kind of distract me from maybe not feeling like it belonged there.
15:33Did they accept you as you are?
15:35Like, you know, when I finally did come out, they were like, we don't get it yet, but we just don't want to lose you.
15:43So we're going to try to figure this out.
15:45I feel really blessed to be able to have my family and my life.
15:50So it makes me want to really push myself to win this for them.
15:56Hello.
15:57Hey, how's the team going?
16:02I do think the silhouette of this skirt, you still have to figure out.
16:08Oh, Lord, this might send me home.
16:10I am a technical designer and I am a serious workaholic.
16:17My family is Jamaican and I've always been raised with all the elders around me doing multiple things.
16:23Even if it's not their job, they're going to figure out how to do it that day and do it.
16:27So I have to push myself because this workout weekend challenge is taking me out of my comfort zone.
16:33I really wanted to do something that was extremely comfortable.
16:37I think it feels a little too demure.
16:40I think I made the right decision.
16:43I was the one who fought to use this print because Mrs. Joan didn't like it.
16:47She still doesn't like it.
16:48Okay, so you did it again.
16:50You wanted a print again.
16:52Everybody wants this print?
16:56Groundbreaking, this circle skirt.
16:59Yeah.
17:00Mm-hmm.
17:01I can cut a circle out right now and do this in 10 minutes.
17:04Really?
17:05Yeah.
17:06We're kind of not the exact same look from the last challenge, but...
17:11Uh-huh.
17:12You're making a jacket and a skirt?
17:14A jacket and a skirt.
17:16Let me tell you a little something about Christian Seriano.
17:19Christian will come in the workroom like,
17:22mm, are you sure about that?
17:25Or he be walking around like, mm, okay.
17:28That little face be killing me with them glasses and that hair perfectly swapped it to the side?
17:32The top being fabulous is very important here.
17:35You should develop this more because you already know you can make a cool jacket.
17:39I'm gonna listen to Christian because I know I'm taking a risk, but I do not want to be in the bottom again.
17:44You got a lot to do.
17:45I got you.
17:46Okay.
17:47Let's get it.
17:48I'm kind of going for like, that modern with a little bit of Tron.
17:52This sash doesn't do anything.
17:55She couldn't do any athletic things with this hanging.
17:59Mm.
18:00Put all these lines on this.
18:04So I kind of want to achieve this kind of like texture.
18:08All of these lines you're gonna weave.
18:10The inspirations for this design is the Kalia logo.
18:14It's like a twisted string.
18:16It's like very dynamic.
18:18What are you doing?
18:20It's going to be like a more like athletic, fancy corset bustier kind of thing.
18:28This makes no sense for an athletic look.
18:32That scares me.
18:33Athleisure specifically is not something that I normally do.
18:37Unfortunately, time is not on our side in this competition.
18:42Christian has his doubts about this corset, but we're sticking to our guns.
18:47Hmm.
18:48What are you doing?
18:49I am doing an oversized hoodie, which I'm thinking about cropping.
18:54I did the pin tuck in my hand.
18:56Mm-hmm.
18:57It's gonna have the same pin tuck in all over the pants as well.
19:00Oh.
19:01So you're also doing a sweat.
19:04Oversized sweat pant.
19:05Oversized sweat pant in the same fabric.
19:08Is the pant wide like that wide?
19:10It's a wide.
19:11You haven't even looked at each other's stuff and she's right in front of you.
19:15Honestly, I really don't know much about what my team is doing.
19:19This is it.
19:20Yes.
19:21Looks very similar.
19:22Having looked at the other designers on my team, I've just been too focused.
19:26So we just have a wide pant off on the runway in the same fabric.
19:32What the ?
19:33Like what am I gonna do next?
19:34I need to think fast and pivot into some other different silhouette.
19:38If I don't succeed, I'm worried it might put me on the bottom.
19:41So I'm looking at Team Lotus and it does not fit the brief that we got.
19:52What's going on?
19:53It's gonna be the pop out.
19:54So we both have mesh.
19:55Their looks are looking a little all over the place.
19:58I think that we're gonna take this one home.
20:00I look at the other team.
20:01It's like crickets in that side of the room.
20:04No one's really talking to each other.
20:06And here we are like, you know, blah, blah, blah.
20:08And then at night she just puts a glove on honey.
20:11Okay, this, do this.
20:13Like we're helping each other.
20:14Yes.
20:15Yes.
20:16Ethan, I hate to tell you, but you will be the losing team.
20:21Are you ready?
20:22Let's go.
20:23Models, let's go.
20:24Woo!
20:25Woo!
20:26Woo!
20:27Woo!
20:28Woo!
20:29Woo!
20:30This very cool jacket.
20:32Woo!
20:33With a pleated skirt.
20:34That's the top?
20:35I think so.
20:36So how does one do anything athletic in that top?
20:42Shop.
20:43I think I'm over here eating it up and it's just like, yeah, no.
20:48No.
20:49Are we playing tennis where you tie your arms up?
20:52If I don't come through with this bra, like, I feel like the whole look is gonna go kaput.
20:59So different when I design on paper and design on you.
21:02You trend's pleated skirt.
21:04It's really short.
21:05I thought it was a mistake, but it's not a mistake.
21:09Because mama, I'm a slut.
21:12You decided?
21:13Yeah, yeah.
21:14I'm gonna do some nice shorts and then the cargo pockets.
21:19That shoe?
21:20Are you nuts?
21:21What kind of shoe?
21:22Blah.
21:23Whoa, what?
21:24Now he's buying something.
21:26That tic-tac shoe.
21:29You have no side seam.
21:31Mm-mm.
21:32There's no side seam.
21:33Interesting.
21:34You can't do that.
21:36Look at her butt.
21:37That's crazy.
21:38These pants are styled after a Japanese hakama pant where there aren't really side seams and all of the volume is put into pleats across the back.
21:49Since we're paying homage to my Japanese ancestress, it's really important for me to nail this look that I make. And I am feeling the pressure.
21:59Bye, models.
22:00Thank you so much.
22:01Hello?
22:02Oh, I have to take this.
22:03Sorry.
22:04You're gonna be laughing when that little hem falls out.
22:05I'm gonna tear it up.
22:06I'm feeling really good about my look.
22:07But what if your team doesn't?
22:08But after the model fitting, I'm feeling a little worried about my team.
22:09Alex has these grand ideas, but she is running out of time.
22:12And Angelo's work is looking a little simple.
22:13If Jesus kills it, then I lost a valuable player.
22:15I hope that I made the right decision.
22:17Guys, our muses are here.
22:18We're doing it.
22:19We're doing it.
22:20We're doing it.
22:21We're doing it.
22:22We're doing it.
22:23We're doing it.
22:24We're doing it.
22:25We're doing it.
22:26We're doing it.
22:27Woo!
22:28All right, designers, send your music.
22:29I'm gonna tear it up.
22:30I'm gonna tear it up.
22:31I'm feeling really good about my look.
22:32But what if your team doesn't?
22:33But after the model fitting, I'm feeling a little worried about my team.
22:36Alex has these grand ideas, but she is running out of time.
22:39And Angelo's work is looking a little simple.
22:40Woo!
22:41All right, designers, send your models to the Ulta Beauty Salon.
22:44Woo!
22:45We got three hours to finish up these looks and send these girls down the runway.
22:50It's crunch time.
22:51Glowy, dewy kind of thing.
22:53I love it.
22:54Or maybe something that's been, like, smudged a little bit.
22:57That's it right there.
22:58Bye!
22:59Bye, everybody.
23:00Y'all have fun.
23:01Until next time.
23:02Is there, um, a leader this time?
23:05No, because I think we don't want to have a leader, technically,
23:08because we don't want to blame someone.
23:10The last team challenge, I think Jesus was acting as the leader,
23:14because he talked a lot.
23:18But this time, we don't have a leader, so it's a mess.
23:21All right, five minutes, you guys.
23:23Five minutes, we're leaving this room.
23:25That's the back of the pant?
23:27Mm-hmm.
23:28Okay.
23:29Well, I know I ain't in the pant.
23:32I'm worried about Alex.
23:34She's looking not finished.
23:36Mm, mm, mm.
23:38Child.
23:39I mean, I got, what, how many minutes?
23:41I am really concerned with how the top is turning out and the cut of the pant.
23:45Are there pockets?
23:47No.
23:48No.
23:49All right.
23:50But there's no more time and nothing else to do about it.
23:52All right, designers, that's it.
23:55That's time.
24:04Hello, designers.
24:05Welcome to The Runway.
24:06As you know, in fashion, one day you're in, and the next day, you're out.
24:10For this challenge, we asked you to create a cohesive, active wear collection for Kalia
24:15that goes from workout to weekend.
24:18You worked in teams and you had only one day to create your collection.
24:22All right, let's meet our judges.
24:24CFDA award-winning stylist and image architect, La Roche.
24:30Editor-in-Chief of Elle magazine, Nina Garcia.
24:34And our guest judge and co-owner of the fashion line favorite daughter, Sarah Foster.
24:40I'm so excited to see Miss Sarah Foster.
24:44She has a really good head on her shoulders around how to make a woman feel beautiful and
24:48comfortable in the clothes.
24:49She's gorgeous.
24:50Okay, we're ready.
24:51Let's start the show.
24:52It's going to be flaming hot.
24:56I wish I had a marshmallow.
24:57This got flammable hair now.
24:59Wait a minute.
25:00I told you it was going to be hot, and I was not talking about Hans and Franz.
25:03I do feel like I have successfully captured the essence of this challenge with creating
25:20something that goes from workout to weekend.
25:23With the pin tucking, the silhouette, the styling is really good.
25:26I'm feeling really confident.
25:28She's a professional.
25:29You know, you know.
25:32Look at us now.
25:33I'm very proud of this look.
25:35My look looks very modern, sexy, and fun.
25:38And the red line on the jacket is everything.
25:41That is a short skirt.
25:43But she's got some good legs.
25:46Look at us now.
25:48Now.
25:49Baby or not, here I come.
25:51I'm just looking at the outfit.
25:53It's not as bad as I expected it to be.
25:56I agree, but I know what's going on on the inside.
26:01It's messy.
26:03Messy.
26:04I'm not happy about it.
26:05It could have been worse.
26:07It could have also been better.
26:08I like that.
26:09I would wear that.
26:11You're very generous.
26:12Oh no.
26:17With my athleisure look, I'm feeling pretty satisfied.
26:20I like it.
26:21I think it's cute.
26:22It's nothing like really shocking.
26:24But I am just elated that the athleisure challenge is in the past.
26:28She's got it.
26:29This is what it means to have greatness.
26:33Stepping out, I ain't checking out.
26:34She looks amazing.
26:35I've worked hard to achieve that details,
26:38that those string woven by hand.
26:41I cut all those holes individually.
26:43It takes a lot of work to create that textile.
26:45I want to make sure that every piece that I make is a labor of love.
26:50I don't get that curly hair with that.
26:55With that side fin, it's flowing down the runway.
26:58It's got movement.
27:00Oh, it looks so good.
27:03I would wear that now.
27:04I may have slayed a little bit too hard this week.
27:07So I'm hoping that it can pull this team through to the win.
27:16This look, it's very universal.
27:18This girl can do Pilates and then put some heels on, put a jacket on,
27:22and go have a cocktail with the girls just at night.
27:25I'm proud of myself.
27:26It would mean a lot to win this challenge
27:28and have that collab with Leah.
27:29Coming from the crowd, I'ma shut it down.
27:32Do it like this.
27:33Do it like, do it like, do it like this.
27:35Get it up.
27:36I'm happy with how this look turned out.
27:38I feel like it's me.
27:39And I'm starting to be more confident in what I'm designing
27:43and believe whatever I'm creating is good.
27:45Do it like this.
27:46Do it like this.
27:50I see my look coming down the runway and I'm thinking,
27:53okay, yes.
27:54Even though I didn't choose this fabric,
27:56I was able to be a team player.
27:59And I think that she looks fabulous.
28:01I love the drama.
28:02This is the future.
28:04You better own it.
28:05I nailed it.
28:06Oh.
28:07Oh, my God.
28:08This is the moment.
28:10He records.
28:12They go and watch me now.
28:14Well, we know who that is.
28:15My model is looking so everything.
28:21And then she unzipsed this jacket.
28:23And it's just like, oh, welcome to the party.
28:26Bring out the tatas.
28:28I took a risk with almost recreating my previous look.
28:32And I hope this paid off.
28:39That's my girl.
28:40Wow.
28:41Like, I'm just literally getting chills.
28:43The way she's walking.
28:44The way that the pants are moving.
28:46How powerful she looks.
28:48I'm feeling great.
28:50I could definitely see this in stores and see a lot of people wanting these pants,
28:54wanting this bomber, even the bag.
28:56I love this.
28:57Our team, everything was executed beautifully.
29:00And I think that that showed on the runway.
29:02We did go.
29:03Good.
29:04We did it.
29:05I am not worried about myself.
29:07But it's hard to tell.
29:08You know, it's two different vibes.
29:10So I hope that the switch doesn't come back to bite me in the butt.
29:13Hello, hello, hello.
29:14Bravo.
29:15That was a show worthy of fire.
29:16Congrats to all of you.
29:17We have scored your designs.
29:18In one house, ran circles around the other.
29:20Antonio.
29:21Joan.
29:22Yes.
29:23Jose.
29:24Jose.
29:25Yes.
29:26Jose.
29:27Jesus.
29:28And Polonia.
29:29You are the winning house.
29:30What?
29:31Wait.
29:32Wait.
29:33Wait.
29:34Wait.
29:35Wait.
29:36Wait.
29:37Wait.
29:38Wait.
29:39Wait.
29:40Wait.
29:41Wait.
29:42Wait.
29:43Wait.
29:44Wait.
29:45Wait.
29:46Wait.
29:47Wait.
29:48Wait.
29:49Wait.
29:50Wait.
29:51I think that's it.
29:52Alex.
29:53Angelo.
29:54Madeline.
29:55Eugene.
29:56BJ.
29:57And Ethan.
29:58You are our least favorite collection.
30:00Damn.
30:02We're going to talk to you later, and you can leave the runway.
30:05Damn it.
30:07My squad being in the bottom.
30:09That's unfortunate.
30:10I don't know what happened.
30:11happened. I don't get it. We just clearly took two different directions team-wise. Chips fall
30:20where they may, right? This challenge meant a lot to me. I just got in my head. I just hope that
30:28I get to stay. Congratulations. What we really liked about your collection is that there was
30:35a cohesion. Thank you so much. All right, we would like to talk to the designers that were
30:40our three favorite looks. And that is you, Joseph, Olania, and you, Jesus. Thank you. So that means
30:49Joan and Antonio. You're safe. But I do have to tell you, Antonio, we all thought that yours was
30:58our least favorite in the winning team. Thank you so much. You can leave the runway. Nice meeting you
31:05guys. Bye. My brother's on the top again for the second week. I thought my look was really good.
31:10I want to be on top. It sucks. So I'm just ready to prove these judges wrong. All right, let's bring
31:17out your models. Come on, girls. Yes. What's up, Oscar? How we did it? We're going to start with the
31:25designer where we didn't have to guess a whole lot who made it, and that is Joseph. Without a doubt,
31:31when we saw her walk down the runway, we knew it was you. And I think she could actually work out in
31:36this because of her little shorts under. Oh, surprise, surprise. Yay. And she could throw
31:41on a pump or a heel and go straight to the weekend, which that was the challenge. Thank you so much.
31:47I would wear that jacket to the gym, but then I'd also wear it to dinner that night with a pair of
31:51jeans. I don't, I, I, I'm into you. I don't know how else I can say it. I mean, I was into all of it.
31:56I like your look too. I like her vibe. It stands out. It's memorable. To me, she's badass and flirty
32:02at the same time. Thank you, Joseph. Thank you so much, everyone. All right, Belania, you're next.
32:08Oh, Lauren. I really love the work that you did on this top. I think it's really beautiful. I love
32:16all the detail that you made with the pockets, correct? And I love the fact that you considered
32:23an option. She can be reserved with the turtleneck and she can be super sexy without it. Yep. I mean,
32:30I like that fabric, as you can see. The detail of the skirt is really cool. And it's a flattering
32:37waistband. Waistbands can go very unflattering very easily. Whatever it is, I like it.
32:45All right. That leaves us with Jesus. Jesus, I have to say this. You have done something that a lot
32:52of people cannot do. And that is to shut me up. Wow. I was so tough on you on the runway and you
33:00were in the winning group and I was still tough on you on the runway. I actually hated your look.
33:05She doesn't look cool. She doesn't look young. I think this is so versatile. I think that a girl
33:10could really work out with this. And sellable, too. I think really sellable. Work out with it and then
33:14wear it out on the weekend. I would wear those pants in a heartbeat. The pant turns into a straight
33:20leg pant. She could wear it like this. I mean, she could open up a little. Well done on that. It's great.
33:26Fabulous. Chic and effortless. What I also love is the detail. The fact that you thought about the
33:34zipper on the side, can you turn around? And that little pocket with that little black detail,
33:42those details all matter. Yeah. Right? Yeah. Thank you, Nina. I want to be this girl that would
33:46wear this. Thank you so much. But now is the moment of truth. They can only be one winner.
33:57And Jesus, it's you. You were our favorite look. Congratulations. Oh, he's crying. Don't be
34:03hiding those tears. I want to see them. Those are tears of joy. Yeah. Not only are you the winner.
34:12That's crazy. But that also means that Kalia will also produce and sell your look. And I'm going to
34:17buy it. Me, too. I love it. Congratulations. We're all going to wear it. We're all going to wear it.
34:22Wow. Thank you guys so much. All right. You can leave the runway. Thank you. Oh, my gosh. We did it.
34:28Ethan, you got rid of me. And I prove you wrong. I truly believe that if I would have stayed in his
34:34team, we would have won again. I won. When I came on Project Runway 15 years ago, I was so young.
34:46I wasn't really out of the closet at that time. And I didn't know who I was as a designer. And now
34:51coming back, I am a loud, gay, queer boy. So to win the challenge and do this collab with
34:58Kalia, it just reassured my purpose of why I'm here. To create really amazing stuff and to be on top.
35:09Unfortunately, you were our least favorite collection.
35:13Ethan, your team... you.
35:16Ethan, tell us, why do you think you guys are up here?
35:33Yeah, I think it's... I think we did a great job.
35:38I think you did a great job.
35:41You had my favorite piece. So modern. Thank you.
35:44Do you regret switching one person out?
35:49I... I don't want to say I shot myself in the foot because I love our team.
35:53I don't believe you.
35:55I think you knew that you had a great look and you didn't give a f*** about the other people on the team.
36:02Damn.
36:03All right, Alex, Angelo, and BJ, you are our least favorite looks.
36:08That means Eugene, Ethan, and Madeline. You're safe. You can leave the runway.
36:19All right, BJ, let's start with you.
36:21Let's start with the positives because there is a positive here.
36:24The silhouette, I think, is nice. I like the length. I like that it's not a midi and it's not a mini.
36:28I think that's versatile. A lot of people can wear that.
36:31It's just really... that's all I liked about it.
36:33You guys like the ties?
36:35I love the ties.
36:36Dangling? I think it kind of looks like a tampon.
36:38I think... I mean, this is... this is unwearable.
36:42I also don't understand this girl.
36:44I think the work that you've done, I think it's quite beautiful, but it doesn't scream active wear to me at all.
36:50Like, I don't get it.
36:51That's the problem.
36:51That's the problem, yeah.
36:52You needed to make this a top, a pair of black leggings, and call it a day, and you would have had a hit.
37:02This didn't need to be a cocktail dress.
37:04Out of context.
37:06All right, Angelo, let's hear about your look.
37:09I designed men's street wear, so I just wanted to stay true to myself.
37:12I think where you have to be careful, Angelo, is that it felt, to me, a little safe and boring.
37:22You really need to bring in a sense of drama. Step it up.
37:26Listen, I'm a basic bitch, so I love sweats. I think this is cool. I like this. It's different.
37:31You know what I mean? It's not for me, but I appreciate that you added that detail on sweats.
37:36I think it's really well made. It's just there was no showmanship to it.
37:41You know, I think that's where you fell flat.
37:43Okay, thank you.
37:45All right, Alex, tell us about your look.
37:47So quite a few of my pieces are also inspired by kimonos.
37:51I incorporate into the way that I create different pieces.
37:54Is that part of your heritage to kimono?
37:56Yes, my grandmother was Japanese.
37:58Okay.
37:59So I go to the sauna a lot, and I love a corset. I don't care what the situation is.
38:05At the sauna, to relax.
38:06Well, obviously you're not going to wear a corset in the sauna, but post-sauna, you can...
38:10But you gave her a corset. She doesn't look comfortable at all. She can't work out in this.
38:16Guys, the story has to match. You cannot piss on me and tell me it's raining. I'm sorry.
38:21Okay, well, the corset, you're right, but the pant and the sweater top, I did like.
38:26I liked the movement coming down the runway. I don't know when it was coming down.
38:29I was like, oh, it looks kind of like Laura Piano vibes.
38:31Laura Piano vibes.
38:32Come on, guys.
38:34Turn around, please.
38:36No.
38:37Do you see the seam of the pant when she turns around? There's the puckering.
38:41Yeah, it is a struggle in the back.
38:43There's a little bit of a problem with this bib that falls from the corset.
38:48I think there's too many ideas put in. The flap in the front, the flaps down the arms.
38:52She's playing homage to her heritage and, you know.
38:55Yes, I love that, but I don't see that in the look at all.
38:58No.
38:59All right, there's a lot for us to talk about. You can leave the runway. Thank you.
39:08Let's talk about Angelo.
39:09It is a tough competition to be in if you're that much of a minimalist because this is a show and you're competing with people that are going to razzle-dazzle.
39:19You have to remember you are in a competition. You have to remember that. Give us a show.
39:26Vijay's look was actually really good.
39:28I hated it.
39:29The ties were insane.
39:31I thought the dress was really well made. It was just out of context.
39:35Yes, I would buy that.
39:36It was the wrong story.
39:38The sneakers with it is for me the worst.
39:40Yeah.
39:40She has to really watch out for her styling because I don't think she's got it together.
39:46And it's, as we all know, a full polish look that has to come down.
39:50It may not be at leisure wear, but I hope that the judges will appreciate the hard work that I put in that dress.
39:59Alex's was an eyesore.
40:00The execution was really poor. And frankly, I also thought her styling was bad.
40:05Yeah.
40:06That as a top, I could work with that, like with jeans.
40:09And I literally can't work with any, any of it.
40:12I do not want to be part of a judging panel where everybody gets a trophy.
40:16It was really bad.
40:18It was bad.
40:18I agree.
40:20I'm not ready to go home this early in the game.
40:23I want my daughter to see her dad give it his all to achieve the dream of becoming the next big thing in fashion.
40:30It has been so much fun.
40:32I'm so pissed though.
40:35It's disappointing knowing what you have to offer and not doing that.
40:41I just hope that I have the chance to show people what I bring to the table as a creative.
40:48Oh, God.
40:51My girl, Alex, she's in the bottom.
40:53I wonder if things would have been different if I kept Jesus and next to BJ.
40:57Maybe I should have been more of a leader.
41:01There's a part of me that's thinking, this is because of me.
41:06One mistake can send you home.
41:11Project Runway is, I know it's going to change my life for the better.
41:16I just hope that the judges will give me another chance.
41:22Next time on Project Runway.
41:24I think we're going to blow it up.
41:25Ethan and Jesus, you'll be picking your houses.
41:29I always wanted to start my own house.
41:32Each house must show that boring can be brilliant.
41:35Sofia Vergara will wear the winning look.
41:38What is all that?
41:41Fringe?
41:42Oh, Lord.
41:44Wait, you have nothing to try on.
41:45Oh, no.
41:46Ethan, your team has no clothes.
41:49It's super sexy.
41:51It was perfect for me.
41:53I'm in shock, actually.
41:54I did not come to work to look at a bunch of ugly clothes.
41:58I am pissed off.
