Dell Technologies announced updates to its Dell AI Data Platform on Monday to help enterprises manage AI workloads from data ingestion to agentic inferencing and AI-powered retrieval, according to Benzinga. The enhancements aim to help enterprises manage increasing volumes of complex, unstructured data that is often underused for generative AI. The updates enhance handling of unstructured data and computing power to streamline AI development and deployment. Dell said the air-cooled systems offer better performance and pricing, with up to six times the LLM inference throughput and four times the concurrent user capacity of prior models. Dell shares are up more than 20% year-to-date. In July, a Bank of America analyst said the company is well positioned to benefit from rising AI server demand.
