00:00Guess who's back? It's the New York Yankees. The Yankees with a victory yesterday. The 63rd
00:05of the season, a 62 victory over the Minnesota Twins. You're supposed to beat the Twins. That's
00:10what's supposed to happen. Zebi Matthews came in high ERA, but also a very good ex-fifth number.
00:15He went five and two-thirds innings, pitched six innings and three earned runs. Not a terrible
00:19start, but also we know he's a strikeout guy. Nine strikeouts in that lineup, but that didn't
00:23deter the Yankees. Knocked him out of the game, scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh,
00:26tackled on another one in the bottom of the eighth inning, and away they go in a 6-2 victory.
00:31I was ready to tweet out because there was a boost yesterday on Bet365, Joe, and it was Aaron Judge
00:37to get a base hit and the Yankees to win. Felt like everybody in the lineup was getting base hits,
00:41but Aaron Judge, but he did come through late in that game with an RBI single. One for four in
00:45that game with an RBI, so two strikeouts. Average goes from 337 down to 336, but the Yankees come
00:52away with a victory. Judge gets that base hit here. Bellinger, certainly a home run. Giancarlo
00:56Stanton, a home run. Good vibes. At least getting a victory in the room for the Yankees
01:00was much needed yesterday. Well, and even more importantly, I mean, Will Warren gave them
01:06the start that they absolutely needed, going six and two-thirds, and the kid was absolutely,
01:13I mean, phenomenal. And by the way, the Twins ended up getting Byron Buxton back before this
01:18game. He was in the lineup. He ends up hitting a home run for Minnesota, a solo shot, but outside
01:24of two solo home runs, the Yankees needed a pitcher to go more than five innings, Donnie,
01:29right? I mean, we can't keep sweating out the bullpen, and Will Warren is now the only
01:35pitcher on the Yankees that has gone more than five innings in over a month right now to
01:41start a game. So you got to like what you've seen from him, and maybe, just maybe, the Twins
01:46is what the Yankees needed in order to get this thing going again.
