00:00In March 2015 is when it officially happened and it was a result of a work accident where I was

00:16crushed and unfortunately it was unsavageable and in the end we ended up losing it mate.

00:22Yeah I was a single dad at the time and it was quite a difficult period and I was due to go

00:26home within three weeks which is pretty good and then just before I was due to go

00:30home there was some complications that then led me into another 30 operations.

00:42I've been involved in in para sport pretty much since losing my leg. I met my wife in 2018 and she

00:50was a runner. We started doing some small events together like the local Bluff to Boat Ramp which

00:56is 10k our local park run too and just wanted to expand on that.
