આ વર્ષે ICC મહિલા ક્રિકેટ વર્લ્ડ કપ ભારતમાં યોજાવા જઈ રહ્યો છે, એવામાં મુંબઈમાં દિગ્ગજ ખેલાડીઓની હાજરીમાં ટ્રોફીનું અનાવરણ કરવામાં આવ્યું.

00:00For me how I look at it is firstly the World Cup. I think whatever we've planned as a team the first

00:09conversation is this is our goal even with my preparation a lot has changed with my mindset

00:14and I am someone who I want to have a lot of confidence coming from my preparation and practice

00:22which helps me out there and I want to be ready for anything. Talking about the 2017 World Cup I

00:27was just selling Smriti so when they played the finals at Lord's I was having an India flag ready

00:35to welcome our team coming from England and I still remember that all these people they were very tired

00:41and at the same time disappointed like so far and they walked out of the airport thinking that

00:47nobody's going to be there. At the Mumbai airport the whole airport was packed. The whole airport was

00:53packed with media and crowds and people right now would think that okay that's normal but at that

00:58time and that was for me the turning point in women's cricket in India. World Cup always gets

01:07those old memories back and the way the team has been doing in the last one year

01:14really really well in this format just not in Korea as I think you know the T20 coming off

01:19a wonderful series in England beating England in England is a huge ask but they have done it.

01:25First of all Mithu is talking like a batting. Thank you ICC, Mr. Jaisa, Mr. Gupta for having me here.

01:36Everybody should be really excited about it. These moments don't come off in your life

01:41I believe and I feel it's a great opportunity to create history but that doesn't mean that you know

01:53from the start you think you're winning it. You have to experience the whole enigma of it. You have to feel

02:00that you put in the process and the results will come. So I think I know you lost a couple of finals

02:07we'll be there and it's really important that you enjoy this moment. Be in the moment rather than thinking ahead

02:18and I think it's a great opportunity you know fans will go crazy you know we were supporting the boys

02:26it's now it's time to support the girls.

02:32There are some expectations that India will win but I think we should also support the girls

02:40as we support the girls. We are in the World Cup in India and I urge all the fans to come and watch the games

02:47support our team and we want our girls to win yes but it's more important to come and support them.

03:00Now you think that the women seem to be playing a home world cup.

03:02It's a different pressure all together.

03:04What would your message to them be?

03:06See whether you're playing in India or away pressure is always going to be there.

03:10But yes expectations are more when you're playing in your country.

03:14Because you understand your conditions well. So I understand that but I think the girls have played a lot of cricket

03:20I understand the pressure and I'm sure in tough situations they're going to come out and do their best.
