00:00Today, I'm building a fully working submarine.

00:03We'll see beautiful fish, navigate through shark-infested waters,

00:07and even search for a lost shipwreck in the middle of the ocean.

00:09But first, we need to build our submarines, starting with the base.

00:11This is one giant test tube.

00:13It's funny that Noah says that because it's actually ready for its first test.

00:16We want to see if this tube floats or sinks.

00:19So it's time to go to the lake.

00:21All right, time to see what happens.

00:22Hopefully it won't flip over.

00:24What do they say? Bon voyage?

00:26Cowabunga, dude.

00:27Just a little kick and they'll be good to go.

00:30The whole point of making a submarine is so you can go deep under the water.

00:33But right now, this thing's floating like a boat.

00:35Hey, I think they might be floating away too.

00:36Hey, what was the rescue plan again?

00:38Right now, our design is so bad.

00:39I have to pull them back in with this string.

00:41We're definitely going to have to add a window right here to watch sharks swim by

00:44and explore this shipwreck.

00:46That's right.

00:46Once we build our homemade submarine,

00:48we're taking it to the middle of the ocean to look for a lost shipwreck.

00:51But first, we have to figure out how to build it.

00:52Right now, this looks nothing like a submarine and it also doesn't work either.

00:56We're going to have to do a ton of math to make this thing work.

00:58Let's go back to the warehouse.

00:59To build the submarine, we have to cut holes in the base for the windows,

01:02apply a waterproof paint coating,

01:04and a bunch of weight so our submarine can submerge deep under the water.

01:07But I think the next step is adding some massive windows right here

01:10so we can actually see what's in the ocean.

01:12So these are the windows we're going to be installing on our submarine.

01:14You can see through them crystal clear.

01:16Let's just hope they're all so strong.

01:18Hey, it's loud.

01:19If these windows break or leak at all when we're in the ocean,

01:21it'll be extremely dangerous for us.

01:23Yeah, we'll all die.

01:24So we need to test each window to make sure it's waterproof.

01:31Well, on the bright side, it's leak-proof.

01:34Next, we need to cut holes in our base for the windows.

01:36We're going to grab some saws and start cutting this thing open.

01:47I think it's safe to say it's no longer watertight.

01:50Now we can install our viewing windows.

01:52I can't wait to see how a little fishy out this window.

01:55But for now, I just see Aaron.

01:59We're going to add a lot more windows

02:00because the shipwreck is supposedly extremely hard to find.

02:03We're going to go around these edges and add a bunch of glue,

02:05and we're also going to be welding it.

02:07So hopefully it doesn't leak because that would be bad.

02:09I'm using a special tool to weld the window to the submarine.

02:12If there's even one small hole,

02:13the entire submarine will fill with water,

02:15causing us to sink and lose all of our air.

02:17We've successfully added all of the windows on our giant tube.

02:20The biggest problem that we have

02:21is this thing currently floats at the top of the water,

02:24so we have to weigh it down

02:25so it can sink down to the ocean floor like a real submarine.

02:28We're going to need a lot of weight.

02:32I got the perfect idea.

02:35We're going to get this under the water for us,

02:36if you know what I mean.

02:43I just learned how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

02:50So to transform this piece of junk into a real submarine,

02:53we're going to be using these foam blocks.

02:58Now we just have to do that about 1,000 more times.

03:07Adding these foam blocks will give us a better shape to navigate in the ocean waters.

03:10Now I'll put a foam block right there.

03:12We're using this Subway sandwich as a reference to build our submarine.

03:16Right now, this looks more like the Krusty Krab from SpongeBob,

03:18so we have a lot of sculpture to do to turn it into a submarine.

03:21This is like playing a violin, but except with a sock.

03:27That was actually just fake music.

03:29This is what it really sounds like.

03:30Oh, stop, please.

03:31We have to be very careful to not cut any holes inside of our submarine by mistake

03:34because it could eventually cause us to drown.

03:36It's crazy to think if this goes wrong,

03:38I could die inside of the thing that we're building right now.

03:42Kind of a scary thought.

03:43After literal days of sanding, it's time to apply our waterproof coating.

03:46We're about to bring this submarine to life with some paint.

03:49We're painting it yellow.

03:50Good thing sharks can't see yellow.

03:51I don't think that's true.

03:52We're just painting it yellow because it looks cool.

03:53We poured the paint and started applying it.

03:55This is about to look so good.

03:58Our submarine is about to look beautiful in the ocean.

04:10Next, we started adding some details to make our submarine look more authentic.

04:23We're going to start adding a clear waterproof coating across the entire submarine.

04:29With the last details completed, we're ready to look for the lost shipwreck in the dangerous ocean.

04:36We're about to put our submarine in the ocean for the very first time.

04:45The employees at the docks said our submarine can't go in the water with more safety gear

04:48and the proper tags.

04:49We need to find some sort of boat store or something so we can get all this stuff on our

04:52submarines and make it feel.

04:53So we went to the boat store to fix that.

04:55This entire store is filled with all kinds of different things for boats.

04:58The reason we're here is we can actually get our submarine legit.

06:26Luckily, after an hour, the rain stopped, and we were able to paddle our way back to the

06:33But unfortunately, we have to add even more weight to get our submarine to go onto the

06:36water.

06:37Basically, we need the same amount of weight that's inside of a school bus to make our submarine

06:41sink.

06:41These sponges are not heavy enough.

06:43Uncle Dave says he's scared of the ocean, so we've got to find something else heavy that'll

06:46weigh the submarine down.

06:47I feel like if we mix concrete, that'll be good.

06:52We had to get so much cement that we literally had to get a forklift.

06:55After buying all of the concrete from the store, we headed back to our Airbnb to begin

06:59our plan.

07:00It's 11 o'clock at night.

07:01It's actually 12.

07:02I was about to say it's 11.59.

07:03It's about to change on my watch.

07:05We have to fix our submarine tonight because tomorrow's our only chance to try this before

07:10a massive storm comes in.

07:12We are mixing a bunch of concrete right now in these were barrels that we are handing up to

07:16Noah to put in our submarine.

07:17It's going to weigh more than Brandon's mom.

07:21We are mixing concrete at an Airbnb with a submarine, by the way.

07:24The things we do for YouTube videos are truly insane.

07:27We need to add lots of weight, but if we add too much, we might sink forever.

07:30We added so much cement to try to make our submarine so much heavier that it literally just broke

07:35our trailer.

07:36If they check their cameras and see all of these cars and see us working on a submarine,

07:41We've been pouring concrete inside the submarine for the last few hours now.

07:50It's time to let the concrete dry, get some sleep, and take this thing back into the ocean

08:12To help us navigate the dangerous ocean, we hired a captain to pull our submarine.

10:27The coolest part about this submarine is we can actually move it, so we're about to go to

10:32Even though the water is beautiful and extremely peaceful, at any second, these windows could

10:37break from the pressure.

10:59In case you're wondering how this submarine works, we have a bunch of concrete and sandbags

11:03on the bottom to help us sink down.

11:04But whenever we want to go even deeper, we can fill this bag up right here with thousands

11:08of gallons of water, which is very heavy, so we sink down.

11:11The only way we can find this sunken ship is if we submerge completely under the water.

11:15We are officially locked inside of our submarine.

11:17We're going to hook up a hose to this and put ocean water in here and start sinking down.

11:20These windows are about to be fully submerged underwater because we're going down.

11:25Right now, we're in the open ocean, but we're about to head to a coral reef so we can see

11:30so much more wildlife.

13:57And the sharks in this area can be very dangerous and hungry.
