00:00I don't know what they're talking about, playing with fire.
00:04I was just stating facts.
00:10We do not want to go to war.
00:14But I think if there is a war over Taiwan, we will be drawn.
00:22Hihilain tayo sa ayat gusto natin.
00:25Kicking and screaming, we will be drawn and dragged into that mess.
00:31Whatever you do, come on, let's be, huwag na tayong mag, hope, I love this saying, hope is not a plan.
00:37I hope it doesn't happen. I hope it doesn't.
00:39But if it does, we have to plan for it already.
00:42And that's what I was talking about.
00:43How do we get our people out?
00:45How do we protect the, kung magkagulok, gera na nga dito.
00:50Malapit na sa atin. Ano nga gawin natin?
00:52Okay lang, normal lang yun. Pababayaan na lang natin.
00:55Kung sino, pasok labas dito sa atin.
00:58Hindi naman puwede yun.
01:00So we'll have to do something.
01:02So inevitably, despite our fervent wish to avoid any confrontation with anybody anywhere,
01:12war over Taiwan will drag the Philippines, kicking and screaming into the conflict.
01:21That is what I was trying to say.
01:23That's what I don't understand.
01:24And I think because of the narrative coming out about playing with fire and being provocative and all of that,
01:36So, kaya nagka-increase ng activity doon sa West Philippine Sea.
01:43What special instructions I have?
01:46We don't have any special instructions.
01:48Sana yun na tayo rito.
01:50You know, it is not a one thing na there's no silver bullet na pag pinaputok mo, solve lahat ang problema mo.
01:59What will happen here is we will continue to be present.
02:04We will continue to defend our territory.
02:07We will continue to exercise our sovereign rights.
02:10And despite any opposition from anyone, we will continue to do that as we have done in the past three years.
02:21Now, we do not intensify our operations.
02:25We just respond.
02:27Hindi naman tayo aggressive eh.
02:29Ano lang tayo, dumidipensa lang tayo eh.
02:31So, that's the situation there.
02:36Unfortunately, we are, I think, for propaganda purposes misinterpreted.
02:46But the Philippines is not, we are constant in our defense of the territory, of the state, of the population, of the Republic of the Philippines.
03:00Ganun lang ang trabaho namin.
03:02Ganun lang ang aming gagawin.
03:04Wala tayong interest na pasukin kahit sino, napuntahan kahit sino, sugurin kahit sino.
03:10Wala tayong ka-interest, interest diyan.
03:14So, sana nga eh, yung ginagastos natin for defense and security, hindi na kailangan.
03:20Kung saan-saan natin magagamit yan.
03:22We can use it for agri, for housing.
03:25We can use it for job creation.
03:27We can use it.
03:27But we have to do this because we are under threat.
03:30We are forced to do this.
03:32We do not want to do this.
03:34We are forced to do this.
03:37We do not want any kind of confrontation with anyone.
03:41We want to build a better, stronger, freer, safer Philippines.
03:47That's what we are working for.
03:49This does not build, this kind of confrontation does not build a stronger, better Philippines.
03:58All it does is continue to defend our country.
04:01So, that's the, I'm a little bit perplexed why it would be characterized as such, as playing with fire.
04:19So, that's the, I'm a little bit by where it's going.
04:25So, let's go.
