A strange wind follows Kate Barrett down the highway out of her small hometown. Once it engulfs her car, she is brutally kidnapped by a mysterious man on a black horse. Deputy Sheriff Langley finds the wreckage of her car and pursues the trail which leads to an abandoned ghost town. The town is actually haunted by the spirits of an outlaw and his gang who hold the equally deceased townspeople hostage.
