These were the incredible scenes at Bristol International Balloon Fiesta's Nightglow on Friday night

The iconic Bristol International Balloon Fiesta has returned to Ashton Court Estate for the weekend (August 8 to 9).

The festival celebrates the city’s rich heritage in hot air ballooning and will be packed with a jam-packed programme of entertainment, activities, food and hot air balloons.

One of the highlights is the stunning NightGlow on Friday and Saturday night, where dozens of hot air balloons inflate, and use their burners to glow in time to a soundtrack of inspiring music by BBC Radio Bristol.
