Transcript
00:00As of July 27, you've got the contraband display here.
00:06You're talking about the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens.
00:12As of 27, this is ICE data now.
00:16In fact, 71% of current ICE detains have no criminal convictions.
00:21That's not true.
00:22Of those that do...
00:23Charges and convictions, over 70% of them have pending charges against them or criminal convictions.
00:28The others all have final removal orders, which means they're eligible to go back home.
00:40Nobody's getting swept up.
00:42We're running targeted enforcement operations across the country
00:46and using our case files and our information to know who is a criminal in this country
00:52that needs to be removed and who has a final removal order.
00:55Nothing's changed.
00:56Huh?
00:58What's wrong with our targeting?
01:00Yeah, yeah.
01:00Why are so many other people who are just here to work and they're following the law?
01:05They're not following the law if they're here illegally.
01:07There's a right way to come to this country.
01:09And so...
01:10Yes, but they're following criminal laws.
01:11You're talking about criminals, sir.
01:13Yes, I'm talking about criminals in these situations, absolutely.
01:16But we also have every situation where we have those that have final removal orders need to go home
01:21because their due process is over and they have their paperwork and they're ready to travel.
01:26So that has been the priority since the very beginning.
01:28Nothing has changed.
01:29And over 70% of these individuals that we have gone out and arrested and removed from the country
01:35have had those pending charges and criminal convictions against them.
01:39That has always been the goal of the president.
01:41That has always been the goal of the president.
