00:00Hi guys, this is Naima and welcome to Foxy. Today I'm doing one of my favorite quick go-to looks that actually kind of makes an impact even if you're not wearing any other makeup except this, which is the colored liner.
00:19So the colored liner is usually something that's a trend that goes on in the summer and spring and everything but I think it is something that I would love to wear through the year and a lot of people actually love it. There are people who only wear colored liner and no kajal, no any other form of eyeliner and it's also been featured in a couple of videos that I saw in the top 10 trends of 2019.
00:47So this is what I'm going to show you. So I'm using my favorite electric blue from Sephora. So there are like liquid colored liners that are colored kajals. So it's very important on how each one of them are, I mean, applied the same way but kajal when you apply a liner tends to like come off etc. But I'm going to show you how to do it the right way.
01:09This is my technique, my version that I've been using over the years. First of all, I'm going to use a blue eye pencil just a little bit as a base before I put on my liquid liner.
01:20Even this can just be plain simply worn as colored liner but I'm using this as a base before I apply the final color.
01:34So this will work as a base and make sure that this liquid doesn't come off though this is a mattifying waterproof one.
01:50Sometimes liquid liners, whether black or colored, usually need like, unless it's not like gel, usually need a base to stick onto and that's why I used the previous color on top.
02:04This is how I like my colored liner looking and because it's an electric blue, it's already popping but in case I want to further kind of mattify this or make this more vibrant, I'm just going to take a blue eye shadow on a brush and just kind of like pat it on top to make it a little more visible and very long lasting.
02:26And if you feel like you want to go crazy and all out, you can apply some at the bottom.
02:56This is how I would do my colored eyeliner.
03:04It's like you need literally nothing else.
03:05I know there's a lot going on with my hair being red and blah blah blah but I feel like if you can pull it off, colored liners really make a statement.
03:13You can always add glitter or add some color at the bottom.
03:17Even like, even though you've done like a blue colored liner, you can always apply blue mascara and go over the top.
03:22This is a little pigmented glittery eyeliner that I'm using from NYX.
03:26This is kind of just to like pop it up and like make it a little dressy if you want.
03:30You can always add a glitter liner.
03:32This is just plain shimmer that I'm going to just do on top.
03:35Especially like if you're wearing this in the day and if you don't have time to change into like a new look, you can always like go over your colored liner or your normal black liner with like a shimmer liner to, you know, give it that little party feel.
03:46I'm not applying too much because I don't like want my blue to die out completely.
03:58And that's it.
04:02Like colored liner, the only thing is that the application, everything stays the same.
04:06It's just that if you're using like a colored kajal to draw the colored liner, you'd ideally
04:10use like an eyeshadow on top of it to pack it and make it more matte or like waterproof.
04:16I hope this video was helpful and these tips and beauty hacks were helpful.

04:35Hi guys and welcome to Foxy.
04:37Today I'm doing a tutorial on how to do a simple dewy soft makeup look using drugstore products.
04:45One very most commonly asked question and messages that I've been getting is that please do a drugstore look
04:51because a lot of people do not want to buy and invest in high-end products because they may not end up using them.
04:58But let me tell you that you can do any look with any product of your choice as far as you do it correctly,
05:04using the products correctly, you know, keeping steps and everything in line.
05:10I think you can achieve any look with any product if you do it right.
05:13Now that we're here and we're talking about drugstore products,
05:16I'm going to use a few of my favorites and do this look for you.
05:19So let's get started.
05:21So I've, there's no makeup on my face.
05:28As you can clearly tell, there's no makeup on my face.
05:30But I'm using, I have already moisturized my face with the Nivea Soft Moisturizer.
05:38So this is done, my prep is done.
05:41So for my prep today, I've only just used moisturizer and a little bit of lip balm.
05:46So I'm going to start with using the Smashbox Primer.
05:48I think I've spoken about this in one of my videos.
05:54I'm just going to use this primer, not to particularly make my makeup last longer, but just to, it's also like a starting and setting spray.
06:02So just to kind of refresh.
06:04It's very hydrating.
06:06So this is just to give it a little hydrating effect.
06:11To make sure, I mean, I have normal skin so it doesn't really get dry and this product is highly recommended for people with like dry skin.
06:20So moving on to the look, I'm going to start.
06:24I'm not a fan of filling eyebrows, especially because I have thicker eyebrows.
06:28So I'm going to completely skip that step.
06:30So I'm going to start with the eyes.
06:32I'm using the Lakme 95 palette.
06:38It's Silk Root is what the name of the palette is.
06:41So there are like these four pretty colors.
06:43There is like a light pink dark and there's like a bronze and like a blue.
06:47So I think I'm going to use the bronze and mix it maybe with a little bit.
06:53I'm just going to take some of it on my finger.
06:55I'm not using a brush.
06:59Just onto my eyelids.
07:01Because I want to keep this look super dewy.
07:05It's something that you can definitely wear in the day or at night if you just like kind of hype it up a bit more.
07:17Let's say just patting on some eyeshadow to get that little frosty, glowy,
07:22effect.
07:24Now I'm going to move straight to mascara because there's nothing else that I want to do.
07:27I want to skip the eyeliner.
07:29I'm keeping this look super simple.
07:31You can do eyeliner.
07:32That's super optional.
07:33And I'm using the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara.
07:40Because I have mentioned this before that mascara is the key to great looking eyes.
07:49Not too much though.
07:52That's it and that's exactly what I'm going to be doing for my eyes.
08:03I want to keep it super simple.
08:06You can always add whatever you like depending on what time of the day it is and what kind of look that you're doing.
08:11But I'm just focusing on using drugstore products and doing my version of a minimalistic look here.
08:16Now I'm going to jump onto the base.
08:18The reason why I didn't do base first and then the eyes later which is what a lot of people have been taught and a lot of people do and it's okay to use that method.
08:27It's just that I prefer doing my eyes first because sometimes there's fallout of eyeshadow.
08:31So instead of going through you know putting eyeshadow and then cleaning your base and everything I just do eyes clean up if there's anything luckily there isn't here and then do base.
08:42So that's what I'm going to start doing.
08:43Now it's very important like I spoke in one of my other videos I think I did a review of a product where I clearly mentioned the importance of corrector and concealer.
08:52So I'm using this Bollyglow concealer and corrector stick. My shade is Biscuit. I'm going to start with the corrector.
08:59So when you're using a corrector you need to identify the areas that you want to correct. In my case it's clearly my dark circles and like these spots on the sides that I want to cover.
09:09So I'm going to start with just adding corrector in those spaces first.
09:22The coverage and the areas and everything completely depends on how much you want to cover and what you don't want to cover.
09:35Because it depends from skin type, texture and everything. The kind of look that you're looking for mainly.
09:42If it's something that you want to do in the day you know correcting is not even important.
09:47If you want to keep it super simple that is.
09:51So if you can see me looking weird and all this red. It's the areas that I need to correct.
10:04Now what is really important is don't just leave the corrector out there. You need to blend it out.
10:08Because you're going to put concealer over this.
10:10So you know you need to avoid a thick layer. We don't want to look cakey.
10:17Because there's going to be concealer and foundation and everything over this.
10:24And whenever you're doing any look and especially a full face, remember that your base should be well done.
10:34Because that is what is going to on the whole show up as an entire look.
10:39And it's so important to your base to be correct.
10:46Now I'm going to take the concealer.
10:49And mainly put it on the areas that have the corrector of course.
10:54Because I need to cover the corrector.
10:56And there might be a few other places that I will use concealer as well.
11:09So I'm going to be putting liquid foundation over this.
11:12So I don't want to put a very thick layer.
11:15And I am personally someone who doesn't like to do full coverage.
11:26And especially not when it's really needed.
11:30Just blending out well.
11:39You need to blend out well because you cannot have the corrector being visible.
11:47So this is exactly how much I'm going to conceal.
11:52Maybe if I was probably doing this look for a wedding or something like super heavy.
11:59I would have probably gone a little more on to the correcting and concealing bit.
12:05Now I'm moving on to liquid foundation.
12:07I'm using the Nykaa Skin Genius.
12:13I'm going to literally take this out on my hand.
12:16Pick it up onto the brush.
12:18And just buff all over my face.
12:29Make sure that you're blending well at all times.
12:32Because sometimes the brush leaves marks on your face.
12:35And you want to obviously avoid that.
12:41Applying foundation on your neck is optional.
12:44If you can match the colour then great.
12:47Otherwise you may want to put some there as well.
12:51And then to finish my base I'm going to use the Nykaa Compact.
13:01Under my eyes.
13:03Because the skin out here is slightly thinner than the rest of the face.
13:08And you have to be careful so that it doesn't crease.
13:10And of course my T-zone which is the most important area.
13:13Because we tend to sweat the most here.
13:18And then you know the rest.
13:19And also I'm not putting it on the entire face.
13:21Because I want to keep this look dewy.
13:23And I don't want to mattify it.
13:25So just like in the areas that need it.
13:28And then you know just brush it out around the rest.
13:32So this completes my base.
13:33Now I haven't done a 100% coverage.
13:37Because I prefer it like that.
13:39Especially when you want to do a dewy look.
13:42Or something looking super flawless.
13:44You cannot have a cakey base.
13:46So that completely depends on how much you want to cover.
13:49And how much you want to use.
13:50And how much you want to not use.
13:52It's completely up to you.
13:54Let's move on to the blush.
13:56Now I was actually looking for.
13:59You know I kept thinking which blush I'm going to use for this look.
14:02But then I was like you know I'm going to actually show you something really cool.
14:05There's this lipstick from Bolly Glow.
14:11That I'm going to actually use as a cheek tint.
14:15So what I'm going to do is.
14:16There are no rules in makeup.
14:18So I know this is a lip gloss.
14:20And I'm just going to take some of it.
14:24Just dotting it around my cheek.
14:28And I'm going to take a buffer brush.
14:32Make sure that you've blended this well.
14:42One tip that I want to give you.
14:43If you're not someone who uses makeup regularly.
14:46And you may want to ace this look.
14:48Powder your face after you have applied this little lip gloss.
14:52This cheek tint on your face.
14:53It will be easier for you to blend it.
14:58Now that I have completed this step.
15:01I'm going to take the same eyeshadow palette that I used previously.
15:04And pick up like this white shimmery colour.
15:08And I'm going to use it as highlighter.
15:10This is what is going to give me my glowy effect.
15:13I'm going to use a little on my brow bone.
15:26Just to add like the extra glow.
15:31My t-zone.
15:33Just a little bit.
15:34Because I don't want to like.
15:35Look like I'm going for a party.
15:37I'm just going to avoid that.
15:44Also what I may want to do is.
15:46I'm going to take the same colour.
15:48Just a little under my eyes.
15:51Just want to add a little more.
15:53You know.
15:54Looking fresher.
15:56Putting eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eye.
16:10Is something that actually makes your eyes look more open.
16:14Because it's the lighter colours.
16:16That you put in the inner corner.
16:18And usually the darker colours that you put in the outer corner.
16:21So when you put.
16:22When you apply a little eyeshadow on your inner corner.
16:23It kind of makes your eye look more open.
16:25And slightly bigger.
16:29We usually do this when.
16:30Someone has like really close set eyes.
16:32So if you're watching this.
16:33And you have really close set eyes.
16:34I think this would be perfect for you.
16:54Okay.
16:55Now I'm going to do the last step.
16:56And that is lips.
16:58So I have two colours here.
17:00That I think I'm going to mix.
17:01One is from NYX.
17:06And one is a very light pink from Rimmel.
17:09So two colours.
17:10Because I really like the whole nudeish pink.
17:11And this is the one from NYX.
17:12It's like a nude.
17:13And this is a more pinkish colour.
17:14So I just thought that I could experiment and use both together.
17:15This has to be my base.
17:16Because the other one is slightly glossy.
17:17And this is more like one of those glosses that kind of tends to mattify.
17:18Which will also make your lipstick last longer.
17:19I'm going to go over with the slightly pinker colour.
17:22And then I'm going to go over with the slightly pinker colour.
17:25And this is the one from NYX.
17:26And this is the one from NYX.
17:27And this is the one from NYX.
17:28It's like a nude.
17:29And this is the more pinkish colour.
17:30So I just thought that I could experiment and use both together.
17:31This has to be my base.
17:32Because the other one is slightly glossy.
17:33And this is more like one of those glosses that kind of tends to mattify.
17:34Which will also make your lipstick last longer.
17:45I'm going to go over with the slightly pinker colour.
17:49Also this is not a completely matte lipstick.
17:57It is semi glossy but not glossy glossy.
18:00It's more like it's got a more moisturising look.
18:04I feel like with dewy looks sometimes.
18:07If you add a little bit of gloss on the pout.
18:09It also kind of looks nice.
18:11I haven't done it but that's completely optional.
18:14Like a transparent gloss wouldn't hurt at all.
18:17These are my favourite drugstore products.
18:20And I highly recommend them.
18:22I hope you guys enjoyed this video.

18:41Hi guys.
18:42This is Naima and welcome to Foxy's.
18:45So today I am going to show you and talk about the winged liner.
18:54What about the winged liner?
18:56Most people are struggling with getting the perfect winged liner.
19:01And believe me.
19:02I struggled for the longest time.
19:05And more than getting the perfect winged liner.
19:08I struggled with getting both my wings looking the same.
19:11Whether it was on myself or at work.
19:13I had to remove it and do it again and again.
19:16Now this is something that I want to tell you comes with practice.
19:19The only way you're getting the perfect winged liner.
19:22Is that if you're going to apply winged liner every single day.
19:25Believe me.
19:26That's the only way to get it.
19:27There's no other way to master it.
19:29I'm going to definitely show you how to apply winged liner.
19:32But before that there is something that a lot of people don't see.
19:36And that is their eye shape.
19:38Understanding the kind of eye you have.
19:41And then modifying the kind of winged liner is very important.
19:45Because it's like today if I wear like a cat eye.
19:48It's not necessary that the same cat eye is going to look the same.
19:51Or nice on another person.
19:53Not for anything else.
19:54But you know if you have like hooded eyes.
19:57Or if you have eyes that are small.
19:59And you know you put eyeshadow and eyeliner.
20:01And when you open your eye none of it is even visible.
20:04Like for the ones who have like a lot of lid space.
20:07Are literally the luckiest ones.
20:09Because you can like I don't know make some funny kind of artwork also there.
20:12So let's start with application.
20:14And then I'm going to show you an easy way in which you can apply winged liner.
20:18And once you've figured out the kind of eye you have.
20:21So my eyes are I mean I have a decent amount of lid space.
20:25And I don't like to make very thick winged liner.
20:29Or having that really dramatic long wing.
20:32But there are people who love it.
20:33I'm just going to show you a basic technique in which you can apply the winged liner.
20:37And one more thing I want to tell you that is very important is.
20:41Using gel eyeliner is one of the easiest ways to make a winged liner.
20:45I know there are people who swear by liquid liner and everything.
20:48And it's not like you can't make the winged liner with liquid liner.
20:51You can but sometimes you know when you're kind of applying it with the brush.
20:55To kind of get the wing becomes difficult.
20:57So if you have gel liner and if you have a brush that is this thin.
21:00It's easier to apply.
21:01This is what I'm comfortable with.
21:03And I have actually seen a lot of people do that.
21:06And they also find that it's the easiest way to draw the wing.
21:09So I'm going to show you a basic technique in which you can draw the winged liner.
21:13And kind of perfectly get your wing which will of course come with practice.
21:17So once you see this you'll understand better once you've identified your eye type.
21:21And what you need to exactly do.
21:23So let's get started.
21:24So I'm using the Inglot gel liner.
21:30And gel dries out really quickly.
21:32So remember to take it on your brush and like turn it upside down.
21:35I'm going to take some of this on my brush.
21:39Don't take too much.
21:42Now I'm going to pull.
21:43You always start with the eye that you're most comfortable with first.
21:48I'm going to stretch my eye a little bit.
21:50Because it's very important when you're drawing the wing.
21:52To like pull your eye so that you know it defines well.
21:55There are two ways of doing this.
21:57You could start from the outer corner.
21:59Or you could start from the inner corner.
22:00I am very comfortable doing it from the outer corner.
22:03Remember that when you start from the inner corner it has to go from thin to thick.
22:06But I'm starting from my outer corner.
22:08And you'll know exactly why.
22:10But not right at the end.
22:12I'm just going to go like say like a little less than half.
22:16I'm going to start with drawing my line very close to my lash line.
22:20Because you know if it is thin you can always make it thicker.
22:23But then if you start with a thick line from the beginning you'll have to clean it up and all that.
22:27So I'm applying this.
22:28Very close to my lash line.
22:29I'm still not taking it all the way to the end.
22:30So it's like if you look at it this way.
22:31It goes all the way from the inner corner to half way.
22:32That's the reason I did this.
22:33The reason I did this is because when you start drawing.
22:34And if you completely draw to the end and then try and extend the wing you get a very
22:35very close to my lash line.
22:36I'm still not taking it all the way to the end.
22:37So it's like if you look at it this way.
22:38It goes all the way from the inner corner to half way.
22:54That's the reason I did this.
22:56The reason I did this is because when you start drawing and if you completely draw to the
23:01wing and then try and extend the wing you get a very sharp line that doesn't look like
23:06it's evenly flowing.
23:07This way because when I stopped half way.
23:10I'm going to start drawing my wing and moving in the direction of taking my wing upwards.
23:16Slightly.
23:17You know that's how you get that little elevated eye.
23:20And this is a very good eyeliner technique for the ones who have eyes that droop downwards.
23:28Now mostly when you're doing the wing for the first time or if you feel like you haven't
23:32perfected it.
23:33You tend to make a mistake.
23:34We all make mistakes after so many years of experience.
23:37Blah blah blah.
23:38It just happens.
23:39So I've just kind of like this little extra like liner that I have put there.
23:43So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to take a little bit of makeup and remove it
23:46on a Q-tip.
23:48And just kind of clean that area out.
23:52You know you don't have to panic and think that you have to do the entire eyeliner again.
23:57The tip can always be cleaned out.
24:00And I'm going to repeat this on the other eye in the same exact way.
24:06I'm going to pull my eye.
24:09Now how thick and how long short you want the wing is again.
24:18In my opinion according to the type of eye.
24:21But then again it also completely depends on the look that you want to go with.
24:32You don't have to put all this in.
24:34You don't have to grind back to the foot.
25:01So guys, this is how I perfect and have been perfecting my wing liner over the years, trust
25:16me we all make mistakes, I still do sometimes, it's all about how you clean it and how you
25:21rectify it and put wing liner every single day and that's how you're gonna master it.
25:26Then of course you add mascara and lashes and everything, believe me it looks great
25:31wing liner can really make or break a look so you need to be smart in what you're doing
25:36and how well you're doing it.
25:38I hope this video was helpful and I was able to teach you how not too difficult it is to
25:43get wing liner, just practice and you'll be fine and trust me for beginners just use gel
25:48liner, it's way easier than using liquid liner to apply it.

26:02Hi guys, welcome to Foxy.
26:04Today I'm doing another product review or rather products review of these primers that I got
26:12from Smashbox and I'm gonna tell you about how each one of them is different from the other.
26:25What is most important actually is a lot of people do not know the use of primer and why
26:31it is so important in your makeup step.
26:34It's not something that you have to wear everyday, it is ideally something that you'd put when
26:39you're doing like a full face of makeup.
26:42So, if I'm doing makeup on myself in an entire face which is very rare and or if I'm dressing
26:48a bride up or just because of course primer like everybody knows is something that is one
26:54thing, one step up to make your makeup last longer.
26:58Besides brides, I will use it for anybody else's face that I'm working on because it's so important.
27:05So these are three different kinds that I want to talk about being my favourites in addition
27:09to my kit.
27:10So let's start with the Set and Refresh Primer from Smashbox which is like you can see it's
27:19completely water based and it's, I'm gonna spray a little bit on my hand here, smells also
27:25really good, it's super light so it's like the minute I sprayed it I felt like super light
27:32on my hand so you can imagine that if I had to spray this on your face like you wouldn't
27:35feel like there's too much product happening from the beginning.
27:38So this is a Set and Refresh spray, the name says it all, it's something that I use in the
27:43beginning when I start and it's something that I use in the end after I'm done.
27:47So why we use this twice is because of course primer like I said is the most important thing
27:54after you finish your entire skin care prep and moisturising and cleansing and everything
27:58you start with primer before you start any look.
28:01Honestly this is something that is very hydrating because it's completely water based and light
28:05so it's something that even like in like on a really hot day or something is just something
28:09that you'll just want to like spray to like refresh your face and it's all good.
28:13The purpose of doing this is that when I start doing makeup instead of applying like you know
28:18something else that might be like an extra add-on layer I'd use this to spray so that
28:23you feel it'll be refreshed and that's when I start my makeup and of course primer makes
28:27your makeup last longer and that is something particularly this one that I would use at the
28:33end to set your makeup to make it stay.
28:36Now the other two that I have one is a reduced redness and one is a photo finish so let's talk
28:41about the photo finish so this is smooth and blur the description says smooth and blur so
28:48um this from the previous one that I showed you is completely different because that's
28:52a spray water base so is this this is lightweight even though when you like remove a little bit
28:56on your hand I'm going to show you it like seems a bit you know oily and greasy but to be honest
29:05this completely has disappeared and it's just completely oil free so don't worry about having
29:14to apply this on your face and your face feeling oily this is something that I would ideally use
29:18for someone who has a really really dry skin texture because even though it's not greasy or oily it has
29:25that hydrating effect to kind of plump up your skin which is so important before you start doing any
29:31look so girls this photo finish primer is what you need to have in your kids moving on to the reduced
29:39redness this is green in color for a reason which I'm going to tell you like the previous primer that
29:45I spoke about this has the same effects of the primer non greasy etc but besides that this green texture
29:52is very important so this is called the reduced redness because it's green texture is going to cut out
30:00the redness now when I talk about redness these are your pimples or like the scars or the marks or any
30:05red that I don't know if you can see a little bit that I have here this is something that I would use for
30:10that so I'm going to take out a little bit on my hand this is what it looks like
30:23now even though I've applied this here like this this is not something that you would really want to
30:28kind of apply on your entire face I would ideally use it on the places that need it which are your red
30:34marks or your pimples that leave marks behind this is not completely corrective like we all know that
30:42the red is cut by the green element and that's why we use a green corrector to go over the red marks
30:48before concealing but this is not something that completely replaces the corrector you'd use this as
30:53a primer to kind of like you know even out the texture and even out the redness but you're still
30:59you may have to use a red corrector over it depending on how bad or how intense the marks are
31:05so these three products are of the same texture lightweight non greasy but each one of them has
31:14their own purposes and ways of priming your face a primer is a must-have in anybody's
31:21or not I wouldn't say daily makeup routine but that's completely optional you can totally have
31:26it there it's something that you would ideally use when you're doing an entire face like I said before
31:31and of course like a setting spray and this does both for you rather than having another setting spray
31:36also if you're not someone who likes to invest in too many products or somebody who likes to you know
31:40apply too many layers I think this should work well for you so I hope this video was helpful and I could
31:46review this well enough for you guys do leave your comments below and let us know if there's any
