00:00Hello, everyone. I am Kenan Thompson, and this is Stars Are Just Like Us.
00:07What's the last thing I waited in line for? It was opening night at Othello. Very good job,
00:13everyone, in that entire cast and production. I have personal friends on the behind-the-scenes
00:19side of that one. My dear friend, Justin Ellington, did the music for it. My other
00:24dear friend, Candy Burris, is executive producer, so there's a whole lot of college park on that
00:28one. The one task or errand that I keep putting off or procrastinating. Right now, I have a lot of
00:33empty boxes that need to be recycled, so I need to get some string so I can tie them all. It's a
00:39whole thing. I gotta do my recycling better. One habit I'm currently trying to break. I guess one
00:46habit I'm currently trying to break, I guess it's probably speeding. Yeah, I can calm down on the
00:51speeding, I would say. Last time I got a speeding ticket, it's been a couple years, actually, but
00:57you know, I'm charming. That might be, you know, part of the issue. Like, I have a habit of being
01:02able to engage the officer and tell him I won't do it again, and then I don't get the ticket. I'm just
01:07kidding. The last person I took a selfie with at SNL was probably somewhere around the 50th, and it was
01:13probably a night full of that. So I remember taking pictures with Eddie and Tracy and Leslie. I wanted to
01:19get pics with Eddie and Will when we were doing Scared Straight, but I think I was freaking out a little too much
01:24because it was just so surreal having those two guys, like, in my baby of a sketch. Like, that was the
01:29first sketch that I got on that was like my idea, you know what I mean? So it's just like watching
01:34your child grow and get their driver's license. It was freaky. I mean, it's kind of a technicality
01:39because I didn't really have an employer. Like, I used to cut grass, so I would go around and ask if
01:44people needed their grass cut for $20. But, you know, I was young and too young to drive, so I think I was just
01:51walking around with a lawn mower, if I'm not mistaken. So it wasn't like a whole lot of clients.
