00:00I am currently on an island infested with snakes!
00:03But I'm visiting way deadlier places.
00:06Like scaling a mountain covered in ice.
00:09I'm gonna die, let me down, let me down!
00:10Driving a road that has killed thousands of people.
00:13More like seven inches from falling chart depths.
00:15Swimming on a cage with vicious sharks.
00:19And so much more.
00:20All starting in this cage.
00:22In the middle of an African safari where there are lions, cheetahs, hippos, and a dozen other species that could kill us.
00:28Why are we doing this?
00:29Because we're visiting the five deadliest places on earth.
00:31Oh, I see one of them.
00:34Oh my god.
00:35Why are we doing this?
00:36And to make sure the lions actually visit us, I brought a bunch of meat.
00:39Spread them!
00:42And surrounded the cage with it.
00:44Oh man, why are we trying to die?
00:46Well, what actually makes this place so deadly is that when the sun goes down and we lose our sight, the animals do not.
00:53Jimmy, there's two lions.
00:54That sounds...
00:55Is that a raggo?
00:56No, but it's huge.
00:57Oh dude, everything's coming out at night.
00:58But we're surrounded by lions.
00:59They're 20 feet away from us.
01:00Oh my god.
01:01Lions will not stop circling us.
01:02We might actually die this video.
01:03Well, let's see if we do.
01:04Because the next places we'll be visiting in this video will progressively grow more and more deadly than the last.
01:10All leading up to an island riddled with venomous snakes.
01:11And next we're going to be ice climbing on this massive, deadly, frozen waterfall.
01:26And now, there is no turning back.
01:29One way or another, we are going to climb this massive cliff using these bladed boots.
01:35or another, we are going to climb this massive cliff
01:37using these bladed boots and these ice picks.
01:41This might be the scariest thing we ever do.
01:43Wish me luck.
01:44Jimmy, you really expect us to climb this whole thing?
01:46Yeah.
01:47There's no chance.
01:48Truthfully, I wasn't sure if we could pull this off.
01:50But what happened next with Nolan
01:52did not make me feel any better.
01:54Oh, ah, ow.
01:56No, all right, guys, guys, stop.
01:58I'm out, I'm out.
01:59You can't quit.
02:00Watch me.
02:01I can't believe Nolan chickened out.
02:03That is insane.
02:03Nolan truly left us.
02:05We're really high up right now.
02:06You're almost halfway.
02:08Oh, Jimmy, don't look down.
02:09Oh, my God.
02:10It's getting steeper as we go.
02:12Oh, my foot.
02:13I'm losing grip.
02:15Oh, oh, oh.
02:17Did you almost fall?
02:17Yes.
02:18Oh, God.
02:20I see the top, Jimmy.
02:21This is the scariest thing I've ever done.
02:24Ah.
02:25I'm doing this.
02:27I'm going to get to the top.
02:28Show them how steep it's gotten.
02:31Way too deep, I can't quit.
02:33I got like 10% left.
02:35I'm fighting the urge to cry, man.
02:37Even though I definitely shouldn't have been doing this.
02:39You're almost there, Jim.
02:40I somehow made it all the way to the top of this waterfall.
02:43We made it to the top.
02:44Let's go.
02:46You know what?
02:46Nolan had the right idea.
02:47But we'll see if he can handle the third place on our list.
02:50All the way in Bolivia, where we'll be driving a road where few make it off alive.
02:54And now we are on the deadliest road on earth.
02:57This drop is literally as tall as a skyscraper.
03:00I am regretting this.
03:01I really am.
03:02No joke.
03:03So many people died on this road that they literally shut it down a decade ago.
03:06This road was causing nearly 300 deaths per year.
03:09But I got the government's permission to reopen it just for us.
03:12I really wish they hadn't done that.
03:14Ah, it'll be fine.
03:15I'm not sure that it will.
03:16Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
03:17I'm starting to understand why they call it death road.
03:19You're not driving like it's death road, I'll tell you that.
03:21Oh.
03:22Yeah, your life is in my hands.
03:23I don't like when you say, oh.
03:24No, your life is in my hands.
03:25And look, the steering wheel just jerked.
03:27Hands on the wheel, please.
03:28We're like seven inches from falling toward death.
03:30You're getting too close to the end.
03:31Please, please, please, please.
03:32Oh, my God, my life is flashing.
03:34It's flashing over and over and over again.
03:37And if you thought that was a close call, we're about to hit the first of the three
03:41deadliest spots on this road.
03:43This is where the road gets very thin.
03:45This is the part you got to be really careful on.
03:47Oh, my gosh.
03:48Dude, I mean, the tire is going to go off right up here.
03:50You see that?
03:51Yeah, I see what you're saying.
03:52Oh, my God.
03:53Look how far down that is.
03:55Here, Nolan, can you guide me?
03:58Gladly, I'll get out of the car gladly.
04:00Bro.
04:01Don't fall, please.
04:02No way.
04:03Look at how steep the drop is.
04:05That's a whole ravine.
04:06There's like a waterfall down.
04:07Yo, help me get through this.
04:08All right.
04:12Dude, this looks crazy.
04:15Look how close we are to the ledge.
04:17Your tire is literally right next to this giant ravine.
04:20That is crazy.
04:21Watch out.
04:22It goes down.
04:23It's very slippery.
04:24Keep coming.
04:26Nolan, you're not really good at this little directing thing.
04:28I mean, I feel like I'm just running away from the car at this point.
04:30Not much direction that I can give.
04:31All right.
04:32Get in the car.
04:33You're useless.
04:34Okay.
04:35You get into it.
04:36I'm about to speed up.
04:37Nolan, you know what might make this ride a little more fun?
04:38What?
04:39Our brand new Feastables Creamy Peanut Butter Cup.
04:41Oh, I thought you were going to say you driving slower.
04:43No.
04:44It's getting so foggy coming up, I can barely see it.
04:47At some parts, the road is actually pretty normal.
04:49But, due to extreme elevation change, a sudden blinding fog can roll in as a silent killer.
04:54All right.
04:55Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
04:56Ooh.
04:57Stop, stop, stop and sit.
04:58Am I good, Nolan?
04:59No.
05:00It actually looks like they're about ready to fall.
05:02It is so close.
05:03Okay.
05:04So, like, right here?
05:05You good?
05:06Just stay as far away.
05:07Ah!
05:08Watch that noise.
05:09Closer than I prefer.
05:10I thought, why don't we mix things up and come out with our own Feastables Cup.
05:14Oh, wow.
05:15You see, the best part about these cups is that we use peanut butter straight from a
05:19jar.
05:20And look how jam-packed it is.
05:21These things taste amazing.
05:22Whoa!
05:23Whoa!
05:24Whoa!
05:25And on top of that, we use Feastables chocolate in this, which if you don't know, at Feastables
05:29we pay all our farmers' living wages.
05:31We use fair trade certified beans.
05:33We remediate child labor on our farms.
05:34Oh my gosh, this is very bumpy.
05:36All three of which no big American chocolate company does.
05:39Nolan.
05:40Huh.
05:41It's been like a decade.
05:42Can you go make sure that bridge still works?
05:43All right.
05:44I just really want to make sure if it collapses, you know, I'm not on it.
05:46All right, Nolan.
05:47Test the bridge.
05:48Am I good?
05:49It's good.
05:50Big chocolate pays farmers so little that they're forced to literally use child labor.
05:54No joke, there's over a million kids in illegal child labor in West Africa just on Cocoa Farms.
05:58So not only should you try the new cup because it tastes phenomenal, but also help me send
06:02a message to the chocolate industry.
06:03Pay your farmers a living income and do more to get rid of child labor on your farms.
06:07Ah!
06:08This is crazy.
06:09We survived death road.
06:10So far, we've survived on the land.
06:12But for this next bonus place, Carl and Nolan are in the middle of the ocean, surrounded
06:16by sharks.
06:17And we're getting in the water without a cage for some reason.
06:19Yeah, we usually use this thing, but now we're not going to.
06:22The sharks in these waters are notorious for unprovoked attacks, making this the most dangerous
06:28water in the United States.
06:30I can't believe this is happening.
06:32Oh, my God.
06:33These are gigantic sharks.
06:34Oh, my God.
06:35Dude, why are we doing this without a cage?
06:38Dude, behind you, behind you.
06:40Oh, my God.
06:41It's huge.
06:42Oh!
06:43Don't get in now.
06:44I don't want to.
06:45I don't want to.
06:46Hopefully I don't die.
06:47I don't want to die today.
06:48Oh, my God.
06:49The thing is so big.
06:50Okay.
06:51All right.
06:52All right.
06:53Carl, the sharks are like twice your size.
06:54I'm good on sharks.
06:55I'm good.
06:56But that was nothing compared to our second most dangerous spot, which just so happens
07:06to be in the middle of the Amazon rainforest.
07:09The beauty of which can only be paralleled by its danger.
07:13Because in a matter of moments, the forest can go from this to this.
07:17Just a little rainstorm can cause the rivers to flash flood and overwhelm the entire area.
07:23And today, we're visiting the Gata Catarax waterfall, where a flash flood could send us
07:28down over 1,000 feet to our watery grave.
07:35And to join me on this cloudy day, what about these guys?
07:38You'll remember Hayes, he spent 70 days in the wilderness, and Bailey spent 100 days trapped
07:42together in a cube.
07:43What we're about to do seems more of his alley.
07:45They said the chance of death is low.
07:47Wait, wait.
07:48Come on, boys.
07:49Let's hit it.
07:50We're going to have a few hours.
07:51Oh, oh, oh, oh.
07:52And hours.
07:53Oh, oh, oh.
07:54Of trekking through some of the most slippery and at times steepest terrain mankind has ever
07:57stepped foot on.
07:58Oh, oh, oh.
07:59Nothing to see.
08:00We finally made it to our destination.
08:02That's a waterfall right there.
08:05Like, if you slip, you're dead.
08:07And with the help of a guide, we were able to cross the river safely.
08:10Hey, look.
08:11Whee!
08:12And then we were secured to some ropes so we could look over the edge of the waterfall.
08:17Can you see over?
08:18Wow.
08:19This is so gorgeous.
08:20Ah.
08:21But as I said before, for how beautiful this place is at only a moment's notice, it can
08:29be just as deadly.
08:30And it just started downpouring like crazy.
08:33You know, this is why this is one of the most dangerous places in the world.
08:36This waterfall is now becoming wider and wider, which are creating flash flood conditions.
08:41We're literally getting flooded out of the Amazon right now.
08:44We gotta go.
08:45Should we use the ropes to go down the waterfall?
08:47Seriously.
08:48I don't think so.
08:49That's really a bad idea.
08:50We're gonna be in the woods.
08:51Isn't that just equally as bad?
08:52What's the risk?
08:53There's mud coming down on Jimmy's line.
08:55Like, a lot.
08:56At any point, they could be struck by lightning.
08:58And I really don't want you to die.
09:01So, with our YouTube video turned emergency operation, the only way out was through the
09:05same steep and slippery terrain that got us here.
09:08Whoa.
09:09And now, we had to do it while the entire forest was flash flooding.
09:12You can see the flash flooding.
09:14Now the path is locked off.
09:15We're gonna have to rope off multiple parties.
09:17It's gonna take us hours to get off this mountain.
09:19Do you remember when I crossed this river and I was laughing?
09:22Woo!
09:23I'm not laughing anymore.
09:25I'm actually scared.
09:27And if I fall, that's the waterfall.
09:30Right over there.
09:31Look at this water.
09:32Like, seriously, no joke.
09:34Grab the rope and pull yourself up.
09:37Pull yourself up.
09:38Don't let me die.
09:39And after hours and hours of trekking through the floods and mud, we walked away from this
09:44mountain with our lives.
09:45Now we're headed to the most lethal corner of Earth.
09:48The number one spot on our list of the world's most deadliest places.
09:52And what better way to end this video, boys, than the most dangerous island on the planet,
09:57Snake Island.
09:58Why are we going to an island filled with killing machines?
10:00We might die.
10:02Bye-bye.
10:03And we are now officially stranded until tomorrow.
10:05That's right.
10:06We will be spending the night on the most deadly island on Earth.
10:09And with lethal snakes hidden beneath our every step, these specialized shin guards were
10:14our only hope of protection from their venomous bite.
10:17So there could just be snakes anywhere here.
10:19Yeah.
10:20Jimmy, what happens if one of these snakes bites us?
10:22Basically, as soon as the venom enters your body, your skin will start to melt off and
10:25you could die within an hour.
10:27Well, it's kind of terrifying to think that I could just die at any second.
10:29This is wild, bro.
10:31You know, for an island full of killing machines, this is actually very pretty.
10:34This is so beautiful from up here.
10:37Man.
10:38If you fall right here, you're dead.
10:39Yes, I see that.
10:40Boys, be careful.
10:41You'd think that with a name like Snake Island, there would be thousands of snakes all over
10:45the ground.
10:46But after killing all the ground animals on the island, the snakes now hunt the birds
10:50in the trees, the island's only remaining prey.
10:52We are officially entering the jungle.
10:54At any point now, a snake could jump from the tree and bite us.
10:57I was just worried about my legs, but now we've got to be worried about them falling from trees, too.
11:01This is insane, bro.
11:03Oh, oh, oh, there's one right here.
11:04There's one right here, right next to my face.
11:07By capturing the snakes, scientists can extract their venom and create anti-venom with it.
11:12Wait, that's venomous.
11:13Yeah.
11:14So if that bit me, I would die.
11:16Yeah.
11:17Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
11:18Hey, make sure you've got a good grip.
11:20It's a juvenile.
11:21Oh, no.
11:22No.
11:23It's gone.
11:24It's gone.
11:25You dropped it.
11:26Oh, escape it.
11:27It escaped.
11:28But the...
11:29He's as chill about dropping that snake as I am when I drop my phone.
11:33And the further in the jungle we get...
11:34These bushes are too thick.
11:35I can't see two feet in front of me, man.
11:37A snake could pop out any second.
11:39The more snakes we see.
11:40Here and there.
11:42This time, let's not lose them, okay?
11:44Okay.
11:45Scoot back, scoot back.
11:47How many lives will the anti-venom from that snake save?
11:50Thousands of lives.
11:51Oh, that's insane.
11:52The anti-venom they create can be used to treat 90% of all snake bites in Brazil.
11:57Meaning every snake we catch could save thousands of lives.
12:00Hey, Jimmy, there's another snake up there.
12:02Whoa, that might be the biggest one so far.
12:04We're finding them all now.
12:05They're coming out.
12:06So, for the rest of the day, we helped find these deadly snakes.
12:09And we even assisted the scientists with their research.
12:13So, that snake is about 15 feet in the air.
12:15And the scientists proposed we shake the tree so we can get it.
12:18There's no way I'm camping under those trees.
12:20That thing ain't moving, dude.
12:21We need that anti-venom.
12:22It can save lives.
12:23At this point, it was getting dark and we needed to focus on survival.
12:27Time to build camp.
12:28Camp is now set up.
12:30Full disclosure, I have no idea that these tents are snake proof.
12:33Gonna be sleeping among the snakes.
12:35This is scary.
12:36About to go to sleep.
12:38Hopefully, a snake doesn't slither into my tent tonight.
12:41This is terrifying.
12:43I can't wait to be in the safety of my own home.
12:47So, we woke up with one thing on our minds.
12:50Getting off this island as fast as we can.
12:52Just gonna go home.
12:53We avoided death all around the world.
12:54From hanging off the side of a massive ice mountain.
12:57To driving inches away from a thousand foot drop.
13:00Swimming in shark-infested waters with no cage.
13:03And lastly...
13:04We survived Snake Island and no one died!
13:06Thanks for watching the video.
