President Trump Asked How Much Growth The U.S. Can Expect As Tariffs Take Effect

President Trump spoke with the media on Wednesday about the growth he expects to see in the country.

00:01Yep. You made your tax cuts permanent.

00:03You mentioned that the tariffs are bringing in a ton of external revenue.

00:06You've opened up markets, the EU, Japan, South Korea, many others,

00:10to American goods like we've never seen before.

00:13How much growth can we expect in the economy now that this model of yours

00:17is sort of beginning to really take off?

00:19Well, I think the growth is going to be unprecedented.

00:22I think we're going to have growth that's unbelievable.

00:24Now, remember, we're building and just starting to build a lot of these incredible plants.

00:28We talked about the electric facilities that we're building, the generating plants,

00:34electric generating plants are massive, and they're going to be great,

00:38and they're going to sell excess electricity into our grid.

00:41So we're going to be having much more electricity than we ever had,

00:44and those plants are going to be taken care of individually.

00:47I know Tim is building one in one of his big factories,

00:50but especially for AI because it needs so much electricity.

00:53So I appreciate the question very much.

00:56I think the growth is going to be unprecedented.
