00:06own lies? Well, Newsmax took one look at July's absolutely catastrophic jobs report and they said,
00:13oh, this is good news all around. Good news all around. I'm not kidding. Jobs growth collapsed
00:20to 73000. The explanation or the expectation was one hundred and ten thousand. So 73 instead of
00:27one ten is about a 33 percent shortfall, not a small miss. The previous two months were revised
00:35downward by a combined two hundred and fifty eight thousand jobs. Biggest downward revision
00:39since the early days of covid, which, by the way, we've seen Biden have downward revisions, too.
00:45They had no issues with the numbers. Then markets plunged, recession fears spiked and Newsmax says
00:52a few fewer jobs than expected. Not really bad and pretty good news all around. It's sort of like,
01:00hey, your house didn't burn down. You've transitioned it into open air living or it's like saying,
01:08oh, failing the test isn't a big deal because your name was written perfectly at the top of the page.
01:16And the kicker is they don't even mention the downward revisions because the truth is inconvenient
01:22when your job at Newsmax is to protect the image of a Trump that is completely unraveling on social
01:28media. Take a look at this month of July. Unemployment rate ticks up one tenth of one percentage point
01:33to four point two seventy three thousand jobs created. Unemployment rate is expected jobs a little bit
01:39below what Wall Street expected at one hundred and ten thousand. But I would say mostly in line with
01:44expectations. Yeah. Yeah. Good. There we go. Good news all around. All right. Well, we'll have more

02:15to you. Good news all around from this disastrous jobs report. And let's get to the real story, the real
02:23story, which is Obama and Hillary did the Russia hoax. I can't even keep up at this point in time.
02:32Now, the problem is if you are a Newsmax viewer and I know that's hard to imagine,
02:37I have a couple of friends who say my dad watches Newsmax and they just accept it. They accept it like
02:43it's real reporting for viewers who don't check the facts. They walk away from this thinking Trump
02:50is the jobs guy. The data says something different. It's gaslighting, you know, in 4K with makeup and
02:58whatever. But they walk away thinking Trump is doing such a great job. Now, if this same report
03:05had come in under Biden, they would be saying we forget about a recession. We are in a depression.
03:11They would be screaming from the rooftops. They'd be running B roll of soup lines from
03:16other countries decades ago and saying this is the end of the end of the end. But under Trump,
03:22they characterize this as good news all around. It's the people on the Titanic, as it sinks,
03:31who say, I love that we're given the opportunity to go for a swim here that I just absolutely love
03:36it. And so our challenge and, you know, I'm going to address this in a broader in a broader context.
03:41The challenge for Democrats, quite frankly, is going to be you. Most of the people let me let me. Okay,
03:50let me back up. I think that a large share of the people who voted Kamala understand that these are
03:58the real jobs numbers they get. 73000 isn't good. It was supposed to be 110. It's 73. We're losing
04:05hundreds of thousands of jobs to downward revisions. This isn't good. So the question is, what, if anything,
04:12can Democrats put together to actually motivate people who wouldn't vote to make sure that they're
04:18going to vote these people out next November, not this November, next November. But bigger picture,
04:24how does this open the door for Democrats to frame themselves as actually having a coherent,
04:33not only message, but plan? Because this is some of the worst propaganda I've ever covered ever. And
04:39I've been doing this a while. But I've also I don't know that I've ever seen Democrats less equipped
04:45to really deal with this in a substantive way. So we're going to be expanding on that because that's
04:51going to be a big problem.
