00:11The expansion of the law allows for warning operations to detect and deter the unlawful
00:17possession of edged weapons in locations including shopping centres, licensed premises and public
00:23areas. Between April 6, 2023 and August 3, 2025, Queensland Police had scanned 133,970 people

00:52count of possessing a knife in a public place after he was found at Mount Omani Shopping
