00:00Welcome to the Chapter 62 Experiment Show.
00:22Today I'm going to go over a float.
00:24I'm going to go over one of my hundreds of innovations.
00:27Random roulette, the book, and then a summary.
00:33So for the innovation we're going to go with Jeff Bezos who says,
00:37I believe you have to be willing to be misunderstood if you're going to innovate.
00:42Now here's how I interpret this.
00:47I learned recently about there's a whole bunch of biases.
00:50You think that biases are one or two things?
00:53There's actually 20, 30 different biases.
00:57And one of the biases I learned is when, you know, let's say there's a bunch of scientists all in one spot,
01:05or a bunch of whatever, film people all in one spot, or a bunch of English majors, teachers all in one spot.
01:12They all talk their own language day in and day out.
01:15So you're always talking to an engineer.
01:17You're always talking to an engineer.
01:19And then when you go on TV or you go to talk to the public, you forget that the public has no freaking clue.
01:26They're totally different world.
01:28So the point, so when I saw this, I said, you know, I know it's, I believe you have to be willing to be misunderstood if you're going to innovate.
01:34Meaning when you start talking about innovations, you got to understand there's a good chance 90% of the people need a little bit background,
01:43need more information, need to be explained a little better.
01:46Like when I was showing my solar panel innovations and I showed that there was a solar, I had something called a solar flat flower.
01:53Some people said, what the hell is this?
01:55They don't understand that solar panels only had the 20% absorption rate.
02:01So by having a design that way, you're getting through 50 to 60 times more surface area.
02:08You have to explain all the nitty gritties.
02:10There's a very high probability you're going to be misunderstood when you innovate,
02:15because people are not in the same world as you.
02:19So you have to kind of translate in a way where everyone can understand.
02:24And believe me, there's a lot of worlds that I don't understand very well.
02:28Like the English, like something involving the grammar, English, spelling, crap like that.
02:34You know, I think that AI is going to take care of that for me.
02:38And a lot of things, I'm limited in my little area too.
02:41But with innovation, I can pick it up pretty quickly.
02:44All right.
02:45Let's go with the random pick.
02:47It's time for innovation to remember that.
02:50Innovations.
02:51Let's see what we got.
02:52Oh, oh, here we go.
02:57Electronic device.
02:58It could be anything.
02:59What electronic device?
03:00Okay.
03:01Sorry about that.
03:05Looks like it's a phone that's malleable.
03:12Malleable phone.
03:14So let's see.
03:15So if you look, the phone has a little bit.
03:17If you look here, it's got a 3D image.
03:20You can see it's kind of curved.
03:21So if this was the phone, you can kind of do this with it.
03:24It's almost like the phone is totally malleable, but it can stay.
03:27So if you wanted to put it like that and it was malleable, you could use this part as a keyboard.
03:32If this was the phone and it was malleable, you could bend it, it would stay.
03:36And then you could use this as a keyboard.
03:37There's a lot of different things with the malleable phone.
03:40It's not a foldable phone.
03:41It's a malleable phone.
03:45Let's see.
03:46More over here.
03:47Let's see how the spots.
03:49So this is definitely coming.
03:50The malleable phone.
03:51Oh, for sure.
03:52Here it is in the flat position.
03:53Here's when it's flat, totally flat.
03:55So yeah, definitely see this one coming.
03:59Here's the book.
04:00Full of innovations.
04:01The future of consumer electronics.
04:04Volume one's coming.
04:06Volume two is done.
04:08Volume three, four, five, and then we're going to do the green energy version of it.
04:14And here are all the innovations.
04:17Now, in terms of marketing, once all 300 of these patents and videos are published,
04:24and we have 2,000 digital assets across six social media platforms,
04:29we're then going to do the marketing campaign in Silicon Valley on all the billboards.
04:35And then we're going to promote a book.
04:38We've got the album.
04:39We've got the 40-time award winning.
04:41Look at this one.
04:42It's right from Greece.
04:43Athens, Greece.
04:44My first one.
04:45Great place.
04:46Greece is a beautiful country.
04:48Greece is a very beautiful country.
04:50Then we've got the one from France.
04:52You know, so we've got all these innovations.
04:53So it's all.
04:54It's all coming together, guys.
04:56So, to conclude, you have to be willing to be misunderstood if you're going to innovate.
05:03Meaning, everyone has their own different specialties.
05:06And when you try to innovate, to a bunch of scientists and engineers, they're going to say,
05:10wow, that's a great idea.
05:11But to other people that have no idea what that system is, they're not going to understand.
05:16They may even laugh at you and say, what the hell is this?
05:19They're laughing at you because they're not too familiar with that subject area.
05:23So you have to extra explain.
05:25You have to give more information.
05:27You have to understand there's this bias where people only understand their little areas.
05:33So if your audience is not in the same profession, you're going to have to do a little bit of
05:41more explaining and make it a little simpler terms so that it's easy to understand.
05:46And there's a lot of areas where I'm not an expert in.
05:49So it's good for me to have it explanation for me as well.
05:53But all right, guys.
05:54I'll see you in pretty much.
06:03I'll see you in pretty much.
