00:00uh the committee works um i'll tell you it's amazing listening to the other side uh complain
00:06about our law enforcement officers ice and um and saying that they should not be wearing masks um
00:14even though they're rounding up ms 13 criminals uh who in my district uh would chop up children
00:23with machetes uh whether that was in brentwood or ci but they want to they want them uh to be
00:28demasked and uh and uh possibly face retribution it's amazing first time that i'm asking they're
00:34asking for anybody to be demasked i mean the antifa they can wear their masks the violent protesters
00:40that uh burn down cities burn down cars looted they can keep their masks on uh god forbid we hold
00:47criminals accountable uh and ask them to be demasked demasked but um our law enforcement
00:53officers let's put them in danger for retribution from uh violent uh drug cartels and uh and ms 13
01:02who we know whether in the u.s or in mexico or in south america or central america
01:10kill whoever they want however they want whenever they want but let's put our law enforcement
01:18officers in harm's way um ms hopper organizations that aided and abetted illegal immigration activities
01:28must be held accountable and the committee has identified countless non-government organizations
01:32appear to have played a larger role in propping up the biden administration's border crisis helping
01:38play a role in obscuring the true extent of the lawlessness that occurred over the last four years
01:42can you highlight some of the most egregious examples of the activities ngos engaged in
01:48in support of the biden administration's open border policies thank you absolutely i think florida's grand
01:55jury uh review of the whole unaccompanied children process is a great place to start if people haven't
02:03looked into that um there are numerous situations where you can look at the funding of what the ngos
02:12took in starting with the 990s then when you start to zoom in you look at the program mismanagement
02:20waste fraud and abuse this isn't about the humanitarian mission this isn't about the religious
02:26component of the organization the non-profit we heard people bring up the religious component of the
02:34non-profit that has nothing to do with that it has to do with how the humanitarian organization
02:41handled the program handled these children handled these funds and handled the sponsors and they
02:50didn't they didn't handle any of that now not all ngos mismanaged children and mismanaged funds
02:58but there were a lot of them that did and taxpayers funded it they paid for it and they must be held
03:07accountable for it thank you very much can you also elaborate on the extent to which the biden
03:14administration's reliance on non-governmental organizations endangered the lives of those
03:18children i know you touched about it a little bit uh but can you talk about especially the uacs
03:23uh that is something that was we saw a lot of uacs being sent up uh to new york to long island my
03:30district and there was no follow-up or very little follow-up uh after they were sent can you talk about
03:35that please yeah so once ngos were sending children to their sponsors they were supposed to have an
03:44individual traveling with them to make sure that they got to their destination we were actually on
03:49a flight with numerous uacs that were unaccompanied couldn't speak the language and airlines struggled
03:55to communicate with them they were traveling alone when we spoke with the flight attendants they
04:00outlined numerous situations where children showed up at incorrect locations cps would have to be called
04:08because the sponsor either didn't show up they were at the wrong location they couldn't communicate with
04:13these unaccompanied children and they were not supposed to be traveling alone once they got to that
04:19state there wasn't a follow-up there were two phone calls and there was very little follow-up or
04:27coordination with state-level agencies to share that information for meaningful welfare checks
