Stormy weather could affect travel at airports across the Southeast region in the U.S. in the afternoon of Aug. 6, including the cities of Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Orlando and Miami.

00:00Alright let's talk about what to expect at the airport. It is vacation season after all and a lot of people traveling today. Things are looking good so far at the airports. It's the morning that tends to be the pattern right? But things are going to start to change as we look to the afternoon. Specifically I'm eyeing the southeast. We already see the rain on the radar. It's not impacting things right now but that's mostly because we're not really seeing lightning. Once that lightning starts expect the delays to start as well. We're looking at at least minor delays really across the board in this region.
