Sabina, Rebekah et Jane sont des espionnes pour le compte d'une agence internationale secrète. Un jour, elles reçoivent la mission de protéger Elena Houghlin, une jeune ingénieure système effrayée par une technologie qu'elle a inventée et que son son entreprise veut mettre sur le marché trop tôt. Quand Jane la rencontre dans un café, elles sont prises pour cible par Hodak, un terrible tueur à gages. Elles parviennent à prendre la fuite. Dans le même temps, l'agence est à un moment-clef de son histoire. Un de ses chefs est assassiné à Paris, tandis qu'un autre prend sa retraite.
