00:25The military of the United States can do what we found at the National Agency that is one of the few men who actually banished the DPRP diferencia.
00:30About 14 years, this is the American military member of the United States.
00:34The military was charged with the U.S. from the United States,
00:36the U.S. was held by the U.S..
00:41The U.S. was held in the U.S.
00:44The U.S. from their military during the international independence.
00:48Although there were 120 years of the U.S.
00:50First of all, we're both from the United States, but we're currently living in Cambodia.
01:08I'm a professor at AUPP in American University of Phnom Penh.
01:11This is my wife Irina.
01:12I'm Mark Knapp.
01:13Hello.
01:14Hello.
01:15This is Guy.
01:17And we're both runners.
01:18Right.
01:19We, obviously, the tensions between Thailand and Cambodia, we're very concerned as everybody
01:23is.
01:24We want to support peace.
01:26We don't want war.
01:28Being foreigners in another country that is possibly in war is a very scary thing for
01:32us as well as it is for Cambodians.
01:36We don't think that war is the answer to any dispute.
01:40But for sure, we want to support people like this who are supporting peace.
01:44I just told you that they think that Cambodia is a tough type of spot for you as a citizen
01:51that stay in Cambodia.
01:52Did you know?
01:53Did you think that Cambodia attacked them or did you think that?
01:56Not at all.
01:57We would never.
01:59We've been here one year, so we never thought that there would be a war in a country we chose
02:04to live and work.
02:05So we're here in support of peace for the Cambodian people and people living and traveling here.
02:12And also peace for Thailand.
02:14Yeah.
02:15We need peace all around the world, especially now.
02:18I teach human rights and law at the AUPP.
02:22So I'm familiar with the historical problems between Thailand and Cambodia and the French
02:28treaty, et cetera, et cetera.
02:30But yeah, I mean, the ICJ has repeatedly said that Cambodia is right, at least on the legal end
02:37of the day.
02:38So, for the point of view, did you think that Cambodia, what do you think about Cambodia
02:43people?
02:44Oh, wonderful.
02:45They're very friendly, very patient.
02:48Yes.
02:49And I think the new generation is becoming bolder and speaking out more.
02:56And I think that's important.
02:57Yes.
02:58That's important.
02:59Yes.
03:00Cambodia has a bright future.
03:02They're a young population.
03:05They have hopes for the future.
03:08And I think they need to grab that hope and jump toward the future, not walk, but run
03:13to the future.
03:14Cambodia.
03:15Do you come and see many people that join this competition?
03:18What do you think and what do you feel?
03:20It's wonderful.
03:21It's wonderful.
03:22It's good for your health.
03:24It's good for a good cause.
03:26And we're just here to support that effort.
03:31Our running club.
03:33The American University of Phnom Penh Running Club.
03:36Yeah.
03:37He is the faculty advisor, but there's more students and staff, and their family and friends
03:42also can join in.

03:47The American University of Phnom Penhalla.
