00:27My name is Christian. I work for the TSL Football Foundation.

00:55and our women's team from Hong Kong is currently doing a training camp here in Cambodia.

00:59So the TSL Football Foundation belongs to a Chinese family business

01:03and the business is headquartered in Hong Kong but actually also operates in Cambodia.

01:07They have I think more than 20 000 employees here and a few years ago we also began to

01:13establish a football club here for the benefit of the employees and then we expanded it especially

01:18to children and since then we have been using the facilities here for training camps because

01:28you know it's not too far away to travel from Hong Kong and the facilities are very nice

01:33and there's a lot of good teams here in Cambodia that play training matches with us

01:37and the football culture I think is growing so it's always very nice to be here and to prepare

01:42for the season. So this week we're playing five matches we've played against CMRE FC Exo United

01:49which is actually our own women's team of TSL Football Foundation then today we played against

01:57Bunkhet and then we have two more matches against Phnom Penh Crown and the final match is

02:04oh Mr. Leng yes that's right so five matches in total yeah I think the level of women's football

02:11in Cambodia is actually is actually very high and comparable to Hong Kong and other countries in

02:17East Asia I think today against Bunkhet it was it was a very equal match and the difference was

02:24pretty much only in individual actions I think some of the goals came after standard situations after

02:32maybe one individual mistake or after one player did a great solo but otherwise I think it's it's

02:38it's pretty close and I think for the development of football like to to reach the next stage of the

02:46team is often about the physicality so this is not just like the the pure football skills but it has

02:51a lot to do with like you know strength training nutrition the whole infrastructure but yeah so like

02:58from from from what I've seen I think the the level is pretty high and I think Cambodia is also in a

03:03good way and also I think uh what also amazes me is the the facilities here um today we played in in

03:10AIA stadium and it's it's super nice um and you know to maintain real grass instead of artificial grass

03:17those are great things yeah I think Cambodian football is on the rise um so congrats to everyone who's

03:25involved here or and who has been supporting Cambodian football um and I think because in Southeast Asia

03:31we have um a few countries which are all passionate about football and they're quite close by so this

03:37is actually what the TSL football foundation is also trying to do to integrate these places more and

03:41to enable players from one country to maybe do the next step in the league so for example this time

03:47our Hong Kong team brought three players from the Philippines to play here as well as coaches and we

03:53have been doing these exchanges before so I would definitely wish for Cambodian players to have more

03:58chances to play internationally and go the next step in their professional careers yeah so I want to give

04:05a big shout out to our hosts from the Cambodian country club it's it's always very nice to be here

04:11because it's close to our facilities we have everything we need here from match preparation to

04:20cool down and to recovery facilities there's other sports options

04:24um so yeah it's it's it's it's always very nice uh to be here and I think Cambodia is a very hospitable

04:31place um the people are very nice and I think uh footballers also get um respect and it's um

04:40yeah it's it's always very nice to be here
