00:06come on the network to commit such offenses we will track you down, we will
00:10be executing warrants at your addresses and we will be coming after you with the
00:15aim of putting you before the courts. Police have swooped on a gang of sword
00:20wielding teenagers suspected of carrying out dozens of robberies on the London
00:25underground and trains. Detectives believe six teenagers all under 18 are
00:31responsible for 51 offenses across East London. We've got an ongoing investigation
00:37into a number of robberies that have been committed on the transport network and a
00:41number of suspects have been identified and as part of that we've executed four
00:45search warrants at different addresses this morning and we've arrested four
00:49individuals on suspicion of robbery. In addition to that in connection with the
00:54discovery of a sword at one of the addresses, a fifth person has been
00:58arrested in connection with that. The Standard was invited to join officers, many
01:03in riot gear, as they raided the home of a 15 year old in Newham at 3 a.m.
01:09They stormed through the front door ordering occupants to show their hands.

01:27British Transport Police
01:30alleged a teenager terrorised nine passengers between West Ham Station and
01:35Graze in Essex, trains passing through Bromley by Bow and on the Docklands Light
01:41railway services at Devons Road and Cyprus. Later, officers smashed down the door of a
01:47townhouse where a 16-year-old lives with his mother and sister in Dagenham.
02:04At a third address, a second sword was seized.
02:11Today, we've had two swords that have been recovered that they've had in their bedrooms.
02:19One of the offences, I believe, did he actually involve a sword as well. So it's quite good
02:23that we've actually seized it. It's also quite worrying that mid-teenagers are carrying these
02:29weapons around.
